High density power supply has been researched over the last few years. To achieve high density power supply, the series resonant converter has been steadily applied. In this paper, the half-bridge series resonant converter using the integrated LLCT (Inductor-Inductor-Capacitor-Transformer) planar transformer is described. the structure of the high density LLCT planar transformer is analysed. as well as the experimental results are verified on the simulation based on the theoretical analysis and the 300W experimental prototype.

To improve the efficiency characteristics in the resonant converter using the contact-less power supply with the large air-gap and the long primary winding, this paper suggests the three-level series-parallel resonant converter(SPRC). The voltage gain characteristics of the proposed converter have the unit gain in a resonance frequency point of the series and parallel, and input voltage and current in the primary of SPRC are always in phase for the all equivalent load resistance because of the parallel resonant tank of the high impedance. The results are verified on the simulation based on the theoretical analysis and the 4kW experimental prototype.

Full-bridge LLC resonant converter using a contactless transformer for the photovoltaic power system is proposed. This converter has inherently several advantages such as zero voltage switching(ZVS) of the switches in the primary and zero current switching(ZCS) of the rectified diodes in the secondary without any auxiliary circuit. In this paper, the experimental results of the full-bridge LLC resonant converter using a contactless transformer are verified on the simulation based on the theoretical analysis and the 150W experimental prototype.

High density power supply technology has been researched over the last few years. In this paper, integrated LLCT(Inductor-Inductor-Capacitor-Transformer) structure is described for use in the half-bridge series resonant converter. The structure is analysed by means of FEMM(Finite Element Method Magnetics) and the experimental results of an LLCT structure for a 300W converter are presented.

For transferring the primary power to the secondary one, the high frequency series resonant converter has been widely used for the contactless power supply system. However, the high frequency series resonant converter has the disadvantages such as the low efficiency, the high voltage gain characteristics and deviation of the phase angle in the overall load range. To improve this disadvantage, In this paper, the characteristics of the high efficiency and unit voltage gain as well as inphase are revealed in the proposed three-level LCLC ( Inductor - Capacitor - Inductor - Capacitor)resonant converter. The results are verified on the simulation based on the theoretical analysis and the 4kW experimental prototype.

Comparing with the conventional transformer without the air gap, a contact-less transformer with the large air-gap (4.8㎝) between the long primary winding and the secondary winding has the increased leakage inductance and the reduced magnetizing inductance. By the increased leakage inductance and the reduced magnetizing inductance on the primary of the contact-less transformer, a good deal of the primary current circulates through magnetizing inductance, which results in a massive loss in contact-less power supply (CPS). In this paper, the efficiency characteristics of the contact-less power supply using a series resonant converter is analyzed and simulated.

This paper presents an improved soft switching buck converter using a non-dissipative snubber, which is composed of a tapped inductor, two snubber capacitors and three snubber diodes. The proposed buck converter achieves zero voltage turn-off in the main switch and freewheeling diode The proposed soft switching buck converter IS verified through the simulation, relevant equations, analysis and experimental results.
