In the System-integrated modular advanced reactor (SMART), the motor for Control element drive mechanism(CEDM) requires high density power and simple drive mechanism to reduce volume because of restriction by install-space and must satisfy the reactor operating circumstances with high pressure and temperature.<br/> To Maximize the characteristics of the TFM, we chose the asymmetric bridge converter as the driving system for TFM. Because two switching devices are connected in series with the stator winding of each phases in the asymmetric bridge converter all the phases are not affected by another phase but controlled independently. Also, this converter has many advantages that the various control methods can be adopted, it is easy to control, and that in case that the switching devices of a phase are damaged, the affects can be minimized.<br/>

A contact-less power supply system (CPS) allows electrical energy to supply to mobile consumers without any electrical or mechanical contact. CPS works in the same principle as a transformer, With the track litz cable forming the primary circuit and the pickup as the secondary The track power supply generates the high frequency altemating current in the track cable The captured AC magnetic field generated by the track conductors produces electrical energy m the pickup coil and the pickup rectifier converts the high frequency AC power to DC while regulating the power to the load. This paper presents the theoretical analysis, simulation and experimental results of the series-parallel resonant converter working as contact-less power supply system

Linear actuator composed a linear motor, a controller, the oil feeder, the supported springs, the damper of compressing processor and so on. And linear compressor with simple and highly efficient mechanism is the best compressor in efficiency. Moreover cooling modulation feature dramatically enhanced the efficiency of the entire system. Rather than utilized a newly designed linear motor and springs, which enables direct transmission. In this paper, we develop transverse flux linear motor(TFLM) and examine characteristic of a linear actuator of TFLM. also we measure thrust force varying an input frequency and an current magnitude for TFLM and the variations of thrust force due to the friction force of linear motor guide have been experimented.
