적하수오(Polygonum multiflorum) 에탄올 추출물의 항산화 활성 및 뇌 신경세포 보호효과

본 연구를 통해 적하수오(Polygonum multiflorum) 에탄올 추출물이 갖는 in vitro 항산화 활성 및 뇌 신경세포 보호 효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 적하수오 0%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% 및 95% 에탄올 추출물 중 40% 에탄올 추출물이 다른 추출물에 비해 상대적으로 많은 총페놀성 화합물 및 총플라보노이드 함량을 나타냈으며, 적하수오 40% 에탄올 추출물은 우수한 ABTS 라디칼 소거 활성과 MDA 생성 억제 효과를 나타내었다. 특히, 40% 에탄올 추출물은 높은 α-glucosidase 및 acetylcholinesterase (AChE) 억제 활성을 나타내었다. 또한, 적하수오 40% 에탄올 추출물은 H₂O₂ 유도 HT22와 SK-N-MC 세포에서 세포 생존율을 증가시키고 세포 내 산화적 스트레스를 감소시킴으로써 효과적인 세포 보호 효과를 나타냈다. 마지막으로, HPLC 분석결과 적하수오 40% 에탄올 추출물의 주요 생리활성 물질은 2,3,5,4-tetrahydroxystilbene-2-Ο-beta-D-glucoside(TSG)로 확인되었다. 따라서, 본 연구에서 나타난 적하수오의 항산화 활성 및 뇌 신경세포 보호 효과는 TSG를 포함한 다양한 생리활성 물질에서 기인한 것으로 판단되며, 건강기능식품에 소재로서의 활용 가능성이 기대된다. This study evaluated the in vitro antioxidant activities of ethanolic Polygonum multiflorum (P. multiflorum) extracts and their cytoprotective effects on H₂O₂-induced HT22 and SK-N-MC cells. Among ethanolic extracts of P. multiflorum, the 40% ethanolic extract of P. multiflorum exhibited high total phenolics and flavonoid contents, with 105.68 mg of GAE/g and 28.92 mg of RE/g, respectively. The 40% ethanolic extract of P. multiflorum showed a high 2,2-azino-bis- (3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) diammonium salt (ABTS) radical scavenging activity and malondialdehyde (MDA) inhibitory effect. The 40% ethanolic extract of P. multiflorum also showed efficient inhibitory activity against α-glucosidase and acetylcholinesterase. Moreover, the 40% ethanolic extract of P. multiflorum reduced oxidative stress and increased cell viability in H₂O₂-induced HT22 and SK-N-MC cells as determined by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazoliumbromide (MTT) and 2,7-dichlorodihydrofluorescein diacetate (DCF-DA) assay. High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) identified 2,3,5,4-tetrahydroxystilbene-2-Ο-beta-D-glucoside (TSG) as the bioactive compound in the 40% ethanolic extract of P. multiflorum.
정상자세와 머리전방자세 사이의 강제폐활량과 최대 수의적 환기량 비교

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to investigate the vital capacity and maximal voluntary ventilation in subjects with forward head posture (FHP). METHODS: Twenty-eight subjects participated in this study (normal 14, FHP 14) and were resident in B city. The mean age, height and weight of subjects was 22.80yrs, 169.36cm and 62.79kg. Subjects were asked to breath maximally for FVC and repeatedly for MVV during 12 seconds. The variables of data were collected as follows: Forced Vital Capacity(FVC), Forced Expiratory Volume in One Second(FEV1), FEV1/FVC, Maximal Voluntary Ventilation(MVV). Each trial was performed by 3 times and we used the means to analyze the data. The mann-whitney U test and independent t-test were used to compare the vital capacity between normal and FHP subjects. All statistical analyses were performed using SPSS 21.0 for window version and p-values less than 0.05 were used to identify significant differences. RESULTS: The FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC and MVV of FHP subjects were decreased more than that of normal subjects and the difference was statistically significant between two groups. CONCLUSION: The vital capacity of subjects with FHP was generally lower than normal subjects. This study shows that the vital capacity of subjects with FHP could be decreased due to the bad neck posture that weakens the respiratory accessory muscles of neck.

PURPOSE: According to advanced research, the effect of foot type on balance is 3 type. There are squared foot, morton’s foot and Egyptian foot. Above all, Morton’s foot accounts for 22% of people. The purpose of this study is to find the effect of Morton``s Foot on Balance Ability. METHODS: Twenty healthy woman participate in this study(Mean age:23.93; Mean height: 163.35; Mean weight: 56.20) . They doesn’t have musculoskeletal or neurogical disorder. Ten of participants have morton’s foot group, and another ten person are normal foot group. Measurment of balance was used by Balance trainer(BT4) and balance pad(AIREX). Data analyzed in 3 way ANOVA. RESULTS: In foot type and support type of variables, Morton’s foot was significant differences in C90 area and Velocity. There was no significant difference between foot type and visual condition. In support type and visual condition of variables, unstable support significantly decreased in Tracelength, C90area and Velocity. If we find out correlationship of foot type, visual condition and support condition, There didn’t have relationship each other. CONCLUSION: This study found that correlationship of foot type, visual condition and support condition. But, there are no significant differences. Nevertheless, These results will also be able to offer baseline data about Morton’s foot study in future.
