        Proprioception means the ability to perceive the sensation of position and movement of body. As it is transmitted to central nervous system and used in feed-back or feed-forward motor control, proprioception allows us to keep our normal movement and normal balance activity. However, the conditions such as injury, disease, aging and fatigue can damage the proprioceptiive sensation of position, movement and lead to a functional impairment and additional damages in musculoskeletal system, because they alter the amount of proprioceptive ability that transfer into the central nervous system. The purpose of this study was to identify the definition and the function of proprioception, to look into variations in injury, disease, aging and fatigue that can be easily met in clinical application and eventually to provide valuable aid for assessment and treatment.

      • 근육에 대한 역학적 스트레스의 영향

        Purpose : Mechanical stress activates signaling cascades and leading to a specific response of a network of signaling pathways. The purpose of this study is to review the effect of mechanical stress-induced adaptation in skeletal muscle involves a biological mechanisms. Methods : This is literature study with Pubmed, Medline and books. Results : Skeletal muscle tissue demonstrates a malleability and may adjust its metabilic response, vascularization and neuromuscular characteristic makeup in response to alteration in functional demands. The adaptation in skeletal muscle involoves a multitude of signalling mechanisms related with insuline-like growth factor, vascular endothelial growth factor, neurotrophins. Conclusions : The identification of the basic relationships underlying the malleability of skeletal muscle tissue is likely to be of relevance for our understanding with PNF technique.

        승용차 틴팅이 조급한 성향의 후미차량에 미치는 영향에 대한 실험적 분석

        The purpose of this study is to verify the safety issue of the tinted vehicle based on the field study as well as the issue of the capacity reduction from the tinted vehicle. Through this study, an innovative experimental method to verify the issues was developed using RTK GPS receivers, and a data collection was conducted using the developed experimental method. Using the collected data, the effects of the ahead vehicle with the windows tinted on the traffic condition such as headways and acceleration noise were analyzed to test that the ahead vehicle with windows tinted too darkly affects the increasing vehicle maneuver as following the degree of tinting. This study was conducted as a frontier study and more studies, for example, full scale analyses considering various road and vehicle conditions need to be conducted in the future. 자동차 창유리 틴팅암도 규제를 위한 도로교통법 개정이 상당기간 논란이 되고 있다. 이는 과도한 선팅이 안전에 위협을 준다는 가설에 기초한다. 그러나 일부 운전자들은 여전히 이를 불필요한 규제로 보는 시각도 상존한다. 한편, 틴팅차량(Window tinting)이 교통류에 미치는 영향을 직접적으로 자료를 취득하여 분석한 구체적인 실험연구는 전무하다. 본 연구는 시각을 달리하여 과도한 선팅차량이 후미차량에 영향을 끼쳐 용량저해 요인으로 작용할 수도 있다는 가설을 세우고 이를 분석하기 위한 자료수집 방법을 구상하고 실현하여 취득한 현장자료로 가설이 참임을 입증하기 위한 개연성을 확인하는 기초연구를 수행하였다. 틴팅차량 후미를 주행하는 차량의 미시적 운행자료를 정밀하게 측정하는 방안으로 본 연구는 RTK GPS 수신장치를 활용한 방법을 구상하였다. 미시적(Microscopic) 분석을 위해서 차량추종(Car-following) 상태인 세 차량의 상대적 측위 및 속도를 매 0.1초 마다 측정해내는 것을 목표로 설정하였다. 측정된 자료를 이용하여 통행속도, 차두시간(Time headway), 차두거리(Distance headway) 및 가속소음(Acceleration noise)을 분석하였다. 제한적인 현장실험이었으나 분석을 통해 선행차량의 틴팅 수준이 높아질수록 교통류의 불안정성이 높아지는 경향을 실측자료로 확인할 수 있었다. 제시된 RTK GPS 수신장치를 통한 현장자료 수집방법을 활용하여 다양한 도로교통 및 운전자를 고려한 확대연구는 향후 연구로 남긴다.

        로지스틱 회귀분석에 의한 도시부 신호교차로 유턴 사고모형 개발

        본 연구의 목적은 도시부 신호교차로에서의 유턴 사고모형을 개발하는 것이다. 창원시 3지, 4지 신호교차로의 유턴 교통사고 자료에 대한 특성을 분석하고 로지스틱 회귀분석에 의해 사고예측모형을 추정하였다. 먼저 유턴 운영에 의한 교통사고 발생에 차이가 있는지를 검정하기 위해 맨-위트니 U검정으로 평균차이를 검정하였다. 분석 결과 4지 신호교차로의 사고유형별 구분에 있어서는 추돌사고를 제외한 유형에서, 사고위치별에 있어서는 유출부 사고가 유턴구역이 설치된 집단의 사고발생건수가 더 많은 것으로 분석되었다. 교통사고건수에 대한 반응척도를 이항으로 분류하고 사고예측모형을 추정한 결과 상충교통량, 대향차로수와 같은 독립변수가 공통적인 영향요인으로 분석되었으며, 3지 신호교차로에서는 종단 경사, 4지 신호교차로에서는 횡단보도수가 공통영향 이외에 특정변수로 도출되었다. 도시부 신호교차로에서 유턴 운영을 위해서는 유턴 구역 대향차로수가 사고무발생 교차로의 평균차로수인 3.5개 차로 이상이며, 접근부의 종단선형이 상향경사일 경우에 설치를 고려할 수 있을 것으로 제안된다. 또한 유턴 차량의 많은 부분이 횡단보도 시간을 이용하여 회전하는 점을 고려하여 유턴 시기에 대한 지시표지를 설치할 필요가 있다. The purpose of this study is to develop the U-turn accident model at signalized intersections in urban areas. The characteristics of the accidents which are associated with U-turn operation at 3 and 4-legged signalized intersections was analyzed and the U-turn accident model was developed by regression analysis in Changwon city. First, in order to analyze the effectiveness on traffic accidents by U-turn installation, the difference of mean of traffic accident number are measured between two groups which are composed by whether or not U-turn installation the groups by Mann-Whitney U test. The result of significance test showed that intergroup comparison on mean by accident types made difference except rear-end accident type and by accident locations exit section only showed difference in significance level at 4-legged intersections, so the accident number have more where the U-turn is permitted than not. Response measures about the number of accidents were classified by whether accidents occurred and accident model were constructed using binomial logistic regression analysis method. The developed models show that the variables of conflict traffic, number of opposing lane are adopted as independent variable for both intersections. The variables of longitudinal grade for 3-legged signalized intersection and number of crosswalk for 4-legged signalized intersection at which the U-turn is permitted is adopted as independent variable only. These study results suggest that U-turn would be permitted at the intersection where the number of opposing lane is more than 3.5 each, the longitudinal grade of opposing road is upward flow and there is need to establish the U-turn traffic sign at signalized intersections.

        미역양식업의 생산조정과 가격지지

        The market conditions of sea mustard is changing by overproduction, decreasing price, import of blanched and salted sea mustard from China into Korea domestic market and increasing market share of sea mustard of China in Japan. In addition, the price support program in sea mustard aquaculture must be modified due to the restriction of domestic support by international organization such as WTO. There are two ways to solve those problems. First is that finding a way to solve the overproduction of sea mustard. One of possible ways is the production adjustment by Marketing Order. Second is that finding an alternative way to replace price support program. The possible way is Direct Payment instead of purchase stockpile system. To introduce marketing Order, outlook center, organization of self-management, production adjustment through output control measure, improvement of market structure, and education/publicity are necessary. Also, to implement marketing order, setting a model business by government is required. There are two steps for implementation of marketing order. First step is to construct Order Committee including organization of producer, people related marketing. However, this committee must run by government for certain short-term. Second step is to improve quality of product and acceleration of demand. At visual point that enforcement of the first step is completed, government has process that government transfers Order Committees self-correcting. It is desirable that government only conduct the support acts such as quality improvement and acceleration of demand. Also, at early stage it is necessary to have aid system for marketing order. For example, we can expect that income increase by production adjustment in long run. However, in short run the income of producer may decrease so, it is required to compensate his economic lose. For compensation, The useful means that can be utilized is direct payment. Direct payment is not continued policy. Also, when production adjustment policy such as Marketing Order has effective results, Direct Payment as an assistant measure must be reduced or abolished. Therefore, when production adjustment acts as an effective tool to control overproduction, Direct Payment system.

        경피신경전기자극이 자율신경계에 미치는 영향

        Purpose:The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of transcutaneous electrical stimulation on autonomic nervous system using heart rate variability analysis. Methods:31 subjects were evaluated with HRV before and after a single high-frequency TENS for 15minutes treatment. The standard deviation of all the normal RR-interval(SDNN) and lower frequency/high frequency ratio(LF/HF ratio) were recorded with TAS-9. Results:After single TENS treatment, autonomic adaptation as analyzed by SDNN was increased from 42.47±12.96 to 4.43±16.76(p>0.05) and autonomic balance as analyzed by LF/HF ratio was increased from 1.4±0.45 to 1.45±0.41(p>0.05). Conclusion:In this study, SDNN and LF/HF ratio changed in health young students as a reslut of single TENS treatment. But there is no significant difference between pre-treatment and post-treatment of SDNN and LF/HF ratio.

        양식수산물 자연재해 피해조사의 문제점과 개선방향 연구

        This study aims to determine problems of the damage investigation system of aquaculture products resulting from natural disaster and to deduce improvement plans for such problems. The main problems revealed from this study were as follows: 1) detailed damage investigation is carried out only by one particular organization, 2) for aquaculture insurance subscribers another detailed damage investigation is conducted to reveal the causes of natural disaster by a joint investigator team formed according to a different legislation with a different purpose, 3) damage investigation is usually suffered from lack of labor, budget and time due to the restriction of natural damage to a certain period of season leading to the absence of quick reaction capability for irresistible natural disasters, and 4) there are no specified procedures and protocols for deciphering causes of a natural demage. The improvement plans to find solutions for such problems are as follows: 1) for the investigation, the object, method and role of the investigation organization should be clarified by improving the present legislation, 2) investigation methods for determining the demage causes should be systematized by making a manual to minimize disputes, and 3) supports for the investigation organization should be institutionalized to guarantee sufficient budget and manpower. Under the present circumstance with continuous natural damages, smooth procedures of damage compensation would lead to the management stability of aquaculture farms.

        신경근 전기자극의 사전적용이 위축근 기능에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 현수 기간 중 적용한 신경근 전기자극의 사전 적용이 흰쥐 뒷다리 근육의 무게와 후지 기능에 미치는 효과를 알아보는데 있다. 이를 위해서 25마리의 Sprague-Dawley계 흰쥐를 14일 동안 현수한 HLS군(n=5)과 14일 동안 자유롭게 사육한 WB군(n=5), 현수 기간 중 14일간 사전 전기자극을 실시한 ES14군(n=5), 현수 기간 중 11일간 사전 전기자극한 ES11군(n=5), 현수 기간 중 7일간 사전 전기자극한 ES7군(n=5)에 무작위 배치하여 실험을 진행하였다. 실험결과, HLS군과 ES7군에서 비복근의 근무게, 후지 활보장의 유의한 감소와 외향각의 유의한 증가가 관찰되었고, ES14군과 ES11군에서 비복근의 근무게와 후지 활보장, 외향각이 유의하게 유지되었음을 관찰하였다. 즉, 14일 및 11일의 사전 신경근 전기자극이 근위축 지연과 근기능 보존에 효과적임을 보여주고 있다. 이러한 결과는 근위축 예방 및 기능 유지를 위해서는 신경근 전기자극을 가능한 조기 적용해야함을 알려주고 있다. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of neuromuscular electrical stimulation(LFES) during hindlimb suspension on weight and function of rat hindlimb muscles. Sprague-Dawley rats(body weight 300-350g) were randomly assigned to five groups: a HLS(n=5) that were hindlimb suspended for 14 days, a WB(n=5) that kept as control, a ES14 that were hind limb suspended for 14days with pre-application of LFES for 14 days, ES11 that were hindlimb suspended for 14 days with pre-application of LFES for 11 days, a LFES 7 that were hindlimb suspended for 14 days with pre-application of LFES for 7 days. Gastrocnemius muscle weight, stride length were significantly decreased and toe out angle were significantly increased in HLS and ES7 groups, whereas muscle weight, stride length, toe out angle were maintained in ES14, ES11. this indicated that LFES for 14 days, LFES for 11 days could prevent muscle atrophy and retain function.
