      • 小豆收量에 미치는 諸形質의 影響

        小豆의 收量에 影響하는 形質을 正確히 알기 爲하여 形質相互間의 相關關係 그리고 經路係數分析과 各形質相互間의 表現型共分散, 遺傳共分散, 環境共分散 등을 計算하고 여러가지 選拔指數를 作成하여 選拔實驗을 한바 그 結果를 要約하면 다음과 같다. (1) 各形質相互間의 表現型共分散의 값보다 遺傳共分散의 값이 大體로 크고 環境共分散은 그 값의 變動이 甚하다. (2) 遺傳相關의 값이 表現型相關보다 높으며 開花日數와 1株重量, 莖長과 1株重量, 莖直徑과 分枝數, 莖直徑과 1株重量, 莖直徑과 100粒重, 分枝數와 1株重量, 1株重量과 100粒重間에는 높은 正의 相關을 보였고 收量과는 莢數만이 높은 正의 相關을 보였다. (3) 收量에 미치는 諸形質의 直接的 影響을 보면 莢數, 莖直徑, 100粒重, 莖長, 開花日數의 順으로 收量에 正으로 影響하며, 間接的 影響을 보이는 形質은 主로 莢數는 分枝數의 增加로 收量에 間接的으로도 影響하는 것을 알수 있다. 그리고 莖直徑은 開花日數, 莢長, 分枝數, 1株重量, 100粒重과 間接的으로 作用하여 收量에 影響하고 1株重量은 莖直徑, 莢數, 100粒重의 3形質과 100粒重은 開花日數, 莖直徑, 分枝數, 1株重量, 100粒重과도 間接的으로 影響을 미치는 것을 알수 있다. (4) 各形質을 選拔對象 形質로 하여 選拔指數를 作成한바 第3表 및 第4表와 같이 形質의 組合에 따라서 選拔에 관여하는 各形質의 加重値(weight)는 다르나 부호는 大體로 同一하다. (5) 選拔指數에 依한 遺傳的 進展과 그의 關係效率을 본바 單一形質에 있어서는 莢數, 1株重量, 100粒重의 效率이 높고 單一形質보다 2個形質을 2個形質보다 3個形質을 選拔對象形質로 하여 選拔하는 것이 效果的이라는 것을 알수 있다. 以上의 結果를 미루어 보아 小豆의 形質中 莖長, 莖直徑, 莢數, 100粒重의 4個形質이 收量에 直接 또는 間接으로 影響하는 重要形質이 될 수 있을 것으로 믿는다. 그리고 小豆에 있어서는 莖長(X₂), 莖直徑(X₃), 莢數(?), 100粒重(??)의 4個形質中에서 2-3形質을 選拔對象形質로 하여 選拔指數를 作成하여 選拔에 應用하는 것이 時間과 勞力 그리고 選拔效果面에 있어서 效果的일 것으로 믿는다. The studies were intended to clarify the correlations between the characters and the influences of each character upon yield of Adzuki beans. The analysis of covariance was conducted to obtain the genotypic correlations among eight characters-days to flowering, stem length, stem diameter, number of branches per plant, number of pods per plant, plant weight, 100 grain weight and grain weight(yield), etc., and the path-coefficients were calculated by Dewey's method. Selection indexes were calculated by phenotypic and genotypic covariances between the characters, and genetic advances and relative efficiency were also calculated for these characters. The results obtained are summarized as follows: (1) The yield of Adzuki bean was mainly associated with the character, number of pods per plant. (2) The values of genotypic covariances were slightly higher than those of phenotypic covariances between the characters. (3) Stem length, stem diameter, number of pods per plant, and 100 grain weight had a direct positive influence upon the yield of Adzuki beans. (4) Number of branches per plant and total plant weight had little or negative influences upon yield but it had rather considerable indirect influence upon yield by increasing the other characters. As a result, it can be concluded that Adzuki bean yield is primarily determined by increasing number of pods per plant, in turn the yield of Adzuki bean is secondarily determined by the number of pods per plant. (5) Many selection indexes which contain 1-7 characters in calculation were obtained as shown in Tables 2 and 3, and they show the genetic advances and relative efficiency which were calculated with various selection indexes. These results suggest that selection index technique is useful in Adzuki bean breeding. In reality, however, as the selection index varies with population and environment in which the population is located. Inspite of the expected usefulness of selection index technique in Adzuki bean breeding, unsolved problems such as the expense, time and labor involved in calculating the selection index remain. For these reasons and from these studies, it was realized that the selection index for the selection should be calculated on the basis of the data of some 3-4 characters, stem length, stem diameter, number of pods per plant, and 100 grain weight, etc. These characters should be very useful agronomic characters in the selection of Korean Adzuki beans, as they could be measured or counted easily thus saving time and expense, and have a greater effect on more Adzuki bean yield than the other agronomic characters.

      • 綠豆 雜種後期世代의 收量에 對한 經路係數 및 選拔指數

        綠豆 新品種 育成의 重要性에 비추어 多收系統의 效率的인 選擇을 위한 情報를 얻고자, 6個 品種을 二面交雜한 雜種 33系統을 材料로 開花日數, 成熟日數, 生育日數, 莖長, 莖直徑, 分枝數, 莢長, 株當英數, 100粒重및 粒重 等의 量的 形質들이 收量에 미치는 經路係數및 選擇指數 그리고 遺傳進展을 推定한 바, 그 結果는 다음과 같다. 1. 經路係數에서 直接 果는 9個 形質 中 株當莢數, 莖直徑및 成熟日數 等이 높았고, 間接 果는 株當莢數, 莖直徑, 分枝數 等의 順으로 높아 收量에 미치는 影響이 各各 클 것으로 推定되었다. 2. 株當粒重을 收量으로 하여 본 各 形質의 選擇指數는 2~4個 形質(莖長, 莖直徑, 分枝數, 株當英數)의 組合에서는 莖直徑의 指數가 가장 높았고 그외 形質은 多少間의 差異는 있었으나 비교적 낮았다. 3. 遺傳進展과 關係效率에서 單一形質에서는 株當英數, 莖直徑,이 컸었는데, 2~4個 形質의 組合에서는 莖長, 莖直徑, 分枝數 組合의 形質이 他 形質의 組合보다 遺傳進展値의 값이 가장 높아 收量에 대한 選擇效率은 가장 클 것으로 믿어졌다. This experiment was conducted to estimate te path-coefficient of each character influencing the grain yield. selection index and genetic advance for nine agronomic characters in mungbean lines. The 33 mungbean lines selected from F6 generation were planted in a randomized block design with three replications, and the observed characters were days flowering, days from flowering to maturity, days to maturity, stem length, stem diameter, branch numbers per plant, pod length, pod numbers per plant, 100-grain weight and grain weight. The results obtained summarized as follows : 1. Three characters which are pod numbers per plant, stem diameter and days from flowering to maturity had the higher direct effects upon seed yield, and pod numbers per plant, stem diameter and branch numbers per plant showed higher indirect effects influencing each character. 2. Selection indicies based on nine characters were discussed with a conclusion that the selection index should be based on the data from stem length, stem diameter and branch numbers per plant. 3. On expected genetic advances among all characters, the highest value was the combinations among stem length, stem diameter and branch numbers per plant, and also relative efficiency were identify. For these reasons, it was realized that the parameter for selection should be calculated on the basis of the data from three agronomic characters, i, e., stem length, stem diameter and branch numbers per plant.

      • 綠豆의 草型別 遺傳分散과 環境分散의 推定値利用에 關한 硏究 : Ⅰ. Genotypic correlation, path-coefficient and multiple regression 第1報 遺傳相關·經路係數·多重回歸

        多收性 綠豆品種育成을 爲한 基礎情報를 얻기 爲하여 IMN의 31個 品種을 使用하여 遺傳相關, 表現型相關 및 遺傳力을 計算하고, 國內外에서 募集한 288個 品種을 莖長과 粒重의 差異에 따라 6個 品種君으로 區分하고 각각의 品種君에 對하여 形質相互間의 相關係數, 각각의 形質이 收量에 미치는 영향에 대한 經路係數를 分析하고 이를 다시 多重回歸分析을 通하여 檢計하였던 바 本 試驗에서 얻은 結果를 要約하면, 1. 遺傳型相關이 表現型相關보다 높게 나타났으며, 開花日數와 株當?數, 莖長과 莖直徑, 莖長과 株當分數間, 莖直徑과 株當分伎數, 株當分伎數와 株當分數間에는 高度의 正의 相關이 認定되었고, 開花日數와 收量 株當分伎數와 ?當粒數, 株當分數間와 100粒重, 株當分數間와 收量, 株當?數와 收量 및 株當?數와 100粒重間에는 高度의 負의 相關이 認定되었다. 2. 遺傳力이 높은 形質은 100粒重, 開花日數였으며 낮은 形質은 株當?數, ?當粒數 莖直徑이었다. 3. 莖長, 株當?數 種實收量은 그 變異가 크게 나타났다. 4. 收量이 높은 品種의 莖長은 70∼90cm의 範圍내에 分布하고 있었으며, 100립중은 3.5g과 6.5g를 중심으로 높은 수량을 나타내는 品種이 分布하고 있었다. 5. 各形質수는 相互間의 相關은 全체品種을 草型別로 分類하였을 경우 매우 낮은 값을 나타내엇으며 全체的으로 開花日數는 收量에 negative로 作用하였다. 莖長이 짧은 品種群에서는 莖長, 100粒重의 收量에 對한 直接效果가 크게 나타났으며 粒重이 가벼운 品種群에서는 莖長이, 粒重이 무거운 品種群에서는 株當分群에서는 100粒重이 收量에 對하여 보다큰 直接效果를 나타내었으며 이상의 결과는 多重回歸分析에 依하여 再確認되었다. In order to obtain a fundamental information to beused in the breeding of high yielding mungbean variety, 31 cultivars from the International Mungbean Nurseries wer eused to estimate genotypic and phenotypic correlation and heritability and the other 288 cultivars consised of domestic and foregn sources were classified into six varietal groups according to the plant height and 100-grain weight. For each varietal group correlation and path-coefficient among some agronomical characters were observed, and the resutls were reassered by computing multiple regression coefficients. The results are summarized as follows: 1. Highly positive genetic correlation coefficients were obtained between days to flowering and no. of pods/hkll, no. of branches/hill and no. of pods/hill, adn highly negative genotypic correlation coefficient wer found between days to flowering and yield, no. of branches/hill and 100-grain weight, no. of branches/hill and yield, no. of pods/hill and yield, and no. of pos/hill and 100-grain weight. 2. Heritabilities of 100-grain weight, days to flowering showed the highest and those of no. of pods/hill. adn stem diameter showed the lowest. 3. Plant height, no. of pods/hill, grain yield were found to be the most variable characteris in the different varietal groups. 4. The cultivars showing relatively high yielding capacity were distributed from 70cm to 90cm in plant height and 3.5 adn 6.5g in 100-grain weight. 5. The most simple correlation coefficient between characters were analysed to be lower in each varietal groups, and from the path-coefficient analysis, days to flowering were found to have a negative direct effect on grain yield. 6. Important characters seemed to be emphasized for selection in each varietal groups were supposed to be plant height and 100-grain weight in the short varietal groups; plant height in the light varietal groups; and no. of branches/hill and 100-grain weight in the heavy varietal group; and these results were confirmed by the estimation of multiple regression coefficients for each characters.

      • 고구마 收量에 미치는 諸形質의 直接效果 및 間接效果

        고구마의 수량에 影響하는 形質을 보다 正確하게 알기 위하여 形質相互間의 相關關係 그리고 經路係數를 分析한바 그 結果를 要約하면 다음과 같다. 1. 고구마의 收量과 關係있는 形質은莖長, 莖數, 直徑, 節數, 莖重, 地下重, 塊根數의 各形質이었다. 2. 고구마의 收量에 直接的으로 영향하는 形質은 直徑節數, 莖重, 地下重이었다. 3. 間接效果는 莖長과 地下重, 莖數와 地下重, 直徑과 地下重, 節數와 地下重, 莖重과 地下重 間에 높은 값을 보였다. 4. 고구마의 收量은 直徑이 크고 節數가 많고 莖重과 地下重이 무거운 것일수록 收量이 많다는 사실을 알 수 있다. The studies were intended to clarify the correlations between the characters and the influences upon yields of some sweet potatoes. The analysis of covariance was used to obtain genotypic correlations and phenotypic correlations among the eight characters such as stem-length, stem-number, stem-diameter, node-number, stem-weight, underground weight, root-number and root-weight, and the path-coefficients were calculated by Dewey's method. The results obtained are summerized as follows; 1. The yield of sweet potatoes was mainly associated with the characters such as stem-length, stem-number, node-number, stem-weight, undergroundweight, etc. 2. Node-number, stem-weight and underground-weight have positively influenced directly upon the yield of sweet potatoes. 3. Stem-length, stem number and root number also had little or negative influences upon yield but it had rather considerable indirect influence upon yield by increasing of sweet potatoes. 4. As a result, it can be concluded that the yield of sweet potatoes is determined underground weight, node number and stem number etc.

        綠豆의 量的形質에 關한 遺傳分析 Ⅱ. 一般組合能力과 特定組合能力의 世代別 差異

        The nature of combining ability and the components of genetic variance were studied in a diallel set of six-parents in various generations. Mean square values of GCA were more greater than those of SCA for all eight charaters estimated. Degree of dominance for p[ant height and pods per plant showed more than 1 and additive portion in variance in components were more greater than heterosis portions for days to flowering, stem diameter, pods per plant, pod length, seeds per pod and 100-seed weight. Heritability estimates for days to flowering, plant height, pod length and 100-seed weight were high, but stem diameter, pod number per plant and seeds per pod were very low. Direction of dominance in plant height, stem diameter, pod length and yield were positive values. But pod number arid 100-seed weight were negative in F2 and F3. The effect of GCA were differ from parents, generations and characters, and the effects of SCA were also differ from parents, crosses, generations and characters.

      • Correlations between the Yield Components of Some Sweet potatoes Varieties

        고구마의 諸形質 相互間의 相關關係를 알고져 水原147, 沖繩100호, 고나센깡, 新美, 千葉赤, 5個品種을 材料로 莖長, 莖數, 節數, 莖重, 地下重, 塊根數, 塊根重等 8個形質의 相互間의 相關關係를 본바 그 結果를 要約하면 아래와 같다. ① 고구마 形質中 收量卽 槐根重과 高度의 相關關係를 나타내는 形質은 地下重, 槐根數, 莖數의 3個形質이고 節數 莖長도 品種에 따라서 相關關係를 나타낸다. ② 莖長과 莖數, 莖長과 節數, 莖長과 莖重 間에는 높은 相關이 보이고 莖數와 節數, 莖數와 莖重, 節數와 莖重, 節數와 槐根數, 莖重과 槐根數, 地下重과 槐根數 間에 있어도서 相關關係가 보였다. ③ 品種平均値에 對한 各形値相互間의 偏相關係數를 본바 第2表와 같고, 莖長과 節數, 莖長과 莖重, 節數와 莖重, 地下重과 槐根重, 槐根數와 槐根重 間은 높은 相關關係를 보이는 것으로 보아 大體로 고구마 收量은 莖長, 節數, 地下重, 槐根數의 5個形質이 收量에 影響하는 重要形質이 될수있는 것으로 믿는 바이다. Experiments were carried out to know the relationships among some characters of some sweet potatoes varieties, Suwon No. 147, Choong Sung No. 100, Gonasengkang, Sinmi, and Chunyubjuk were used as materials in this study. Simple correlation coefficients and partial correlation coefficients were calculated among some characteristics, stem length, stem number, stem diameter, node number, stem weight, underground weight, root number, root weight which are yield components. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. Correlation coefficients among some characteristics were obtained as shown in Table 1. From these results, it was observed that there were some close positive correlations among yield (root weight) and underground weight, root number, stem number, however, yield and node number, stem length were different in varieties. 2. Among stem length and stem number, stem length and node number, stem length and stem weight were some close positive correlations, and among stem number and node number, stem number and stem weight, node number and stem weight, node number and root number, stem weight and root number, underground weight and root number were positive correlations. 3. Partial correlation coefficients among some characteristics were obtained as shown in Table 2., from these results it was observed that there were some close positive correlations among stem length and node number, stem length and stem weight, node number and stem weight, node number and stem weight, underground weight and root weight, root number and root weight in general. The data obtained show that sweet potatoes yield is affected mainly by stem length, node number, stem weight, underground weight, root number of the sweet potatoes.

      • Gentic Studies on the Legumes by the Isolaton of Protoplast : Ⅰ. Cultivar and Media Effects on Callus Formaton in Soybeans

        The objective of this study was to identify normal plant types with distint auxin and cytokinin responses, especially within species, to be used in the studies of the genetic regulation of hormonal function and metabolism. Responses of 12 soybean genotype to the growth regulators, such as, NAA, 2,4-D, IAA, IBA, BAP and Kinetin in tissue culture were examined. Calli were easily developed on MS supplemented 2,4-D, than B5 with 2,4-D. Especially, the auxin 2,4-D also enhanced callus growth and the range of optimal concentration was lmg/1 2,4-D with MS or B5 basal medium Most of genotypes were root formed in low concentration of 2,4-D with MS or B5 medium except three genotype. The effects of Auxin and Cytokinin combination on MS and B5 media were evaluated on the various condition. B5 medium B5+NA/BA promoted more callus initiation and provided better callus maintainance than medium of MS.
