버퍼 오버플로우 취약점 탐지를 위한 퍼징 에이전트 구현

네트워크에 연결되는 소프트웨어에서 사용자의 권한을 획득할 수 있는 취약점이 존재한다면, 컴퓨터의 사용 권한을 원격지의 공격자가 획득할 수 있게 된다. 또한 특정 계열에 대한 운영체제의 점유율이 높은 사용자 환경에서는 해당 운영체제에서 문제가 발생하면 보다 큰 피해가 발생될 수 있다. 특히, 보안상 취약점을 가지는 오류가 발견된다면 상당히 큰 문제가 될 수 있다. 이러한 환경 속에서 취약점을 발견하고 대응하기 위한 다양한 연구들이 진행되어왔으며, 퍼징 기법은 소프트웨어에 있는 오류를 찾아내는 가장 효과적인 기술 중 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 어플리케이션 에서 발생할 수 있는 버퍼 오버플로우 취약점을 탐지할 수 있는 퍼징 에이전트를 설계하고 구현하고자 한다. 이러한 퍼징 에이전트를 통해 어플리케이션 개발자들이 스스로 어플리케이션의 취약점을 발견하고 수정할 수 있는 보다 안전한 컴퓨팅 환경을 실현할 수 있을 것이다. If a vulnerability in the software connected to the network to obtain the user's privilege, a remote attacker could gain the privilege to use the computer. In addition, in a user environment in which an operating system for a specific series is used a lot, if a problem occurs in the operating system, considerable damage can occur. In particular, If an error is a security vulnerability, it can be a very big problem. Various studies have been conducted to find and respond to vulnerabilities in such a situation. Among various security technologies, the fuzzing technology is one of the most effective technologies to find errors in software. In this paper, I designed and implemented a fuzzing agent that can detect buffer overflow vulnerabilities that can occur in various applications. Through this fuzzing agent, application developers will be able to realize a more secure computing environment in which they can discover and fix vulnerabilities in their own applications.

부동산 버블에 대한 연구- 추정 및 경제정책에 대한 시사점 -

이 연구에서는 우리경제의 부동산가격에 버블이 어느 정도 존재하는 가를 추정하고 경제정책에 대한 시사점을 도출하였다. 기존 실증분석 연구의 문제점을 극복하고자 칼만필터(kalman filter)의 계량기법을 사용했다. 1987년에서 최근까지의 전국 아파트가격지수와 아파트전세지수의 자료를 사용해서 다음과 같은 실증분석결과를 얻었다. 표준적인 자산가격모형을 사용하되 모형은 칼만필터를 사용해서 추정한 결과, 아파트 가격에 상당한 크기의 버블이 존재한다는 사실을 확인하였다. 외환위기의 기간인 1998년을 제외하고 1992~2001년 사이에 아파트가격에서 차지하는 버블의 비중이 44~50%의 범위에서 안정되었다. 그러나 우리 경제가 외환위기의 영향에서 벗어난 이후에는 아파트가격이 급등하였고, 임대료가 저금리로 하락하여 버블이 지속적으로 상승하였다. 그 결과 2002년 12월에는 아파트가격에서 차지하는 버블의 비중이 60%를 상회하여 2003년까지 지속되고 있다. 추정된 버블을 충격반응함수분석을 통하여 분석한 결과, 버블은 이자율이 상승하면 감소하고, 가계대출이 증가하면 상승하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 부동산 버블의 생성 및 확대를 억제하기 위해서는 통화정책을 선제적으로 운용하여 이자율을 조정할 필요가 있고, 가계대출이나 부동산관련 대출에 대한 적절한 규제가 필요하다는 것으로 볼 수 있다.

Time-Varying Parameter Cointegration을 이용한 주요환율의 실증분석

The paper does an empirical analysis of monetary exchange rate models using time-varying parameter cointegration regression. When fixed parameter regressions are employed, the cointegration of monetary models of foreign exchange rates is usually rejected. Hence, even though the monetary models are based on firm theoretical ground, it is true that the empirical performance is not good. However, we can not reject the cointegiution of monetary models when we use time-varying cointegration regression and variable addition test. In order to forecast future exchange rates, we modify time-varying parameter cointegration models into error-correction models. The out-of-sample forecasting abilities of time-varying parameter models improve compared to random walk model and fixed parameter models.

We examine the merits and demerits of various management methods of sewage works in Kimhae city. It is desirable to select the most efficient management method by comparing the cost-benefits of various ones. The most appropriate one can change drastically, depending on which criteria we would use to select. Even though the selection based on quantitative analysis is most desirable to employ, we can not develop any quantitative analysis of various management methods. Instead of quantitative analysis, we employ a qualitative analysis. The public financial condition of Kimhae city, the availability of technicians and the existing public utilities in Kimhae city are the most important factors that can affect the selection of the management method of sewage works in Kimhae city. We conclude that the sewage works in Kimhae city should be operated in the form of a local public corporation.
