        3차 PLL System에서의 Flicker Noise 분석

        본 논문에서는 PLL 시스템의 보다 실제적 분석 모델인 3차 시스템을 통하여 저주파 대역에서 문제가 되는 flicker noise가 어떠한 양상을 나타내는가를 알아보려 한다. 3차에서 해석의 복잡성으로 수학적인 분석이 난해하지만 최적화 된 2차 필터를 통한 pseudo-damping factor의 도입으로 3차 시스템에서의 flicker variance의 해석이 용이하도록 시도하였다. 3차에서의 flicker variance의 수식적인 유도를 보이고 이를 2차 시스템에서 발생되는 flicker noise에 대한 variance와 비교하려 한다. In this paper, using third-order system of the PLL we'll analyze the aspect of flicker noise appearing troubles in the low frequency band. Since it is difficult to analyze mathematically flicker noise in the third-order system of the PLL, introducing the concept of pseudo-damping factor using the optimized second-filter has made an ease of the access of the flicker-noise variance. we'll show a numerical formula of flicker variance in the third-order system of the PLL which is compared with that of 1/f noise variance in the second-order system of the PLL.

        GPT-4 기반 제로샷 영화 리뷰 감성 분석

        Sentiment analysis is the task of categorizing subjective information and emotional states based on personal experiences into positive or negative. It is used in various domains for targets such as reviews, articles, social media conversations, and more. Recently, there has been significant interest in large language models like GPT-4 to better align with user expectations for interactions with AI. However, objective performance results are not still sufficiently provided due to various practical constraints. While not reliable in some aspects, e.g. AI hallucination, GPT-4 has demonstrated the ability to perform various tasks such as sentence generation, summarization, classification, translation, and more at a high level. Therefore, there is a need to objectively compare and evaluate its performance in sentiment analysis. This paper compares the sentiment analysis capabilities of GPT-4 and some existing models in the field using a representative movie review dataset, together with some insights on considerations for utilizing GPT-4 in sentiment analysis. GPT-4 surpassed the existing models inclusive of XLNet in the metrics of accuracy, precision, F1 and AUC.

        Possibility of Probing the Fermi Surface of a Heavy-Fermion System by Using Angle-Resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy

        Numerical simulation results are presented to investigate whether it is possible to probe the Fermi surface (FS) of a heavy-fermion (HF) system with the experimental conditions of present state-of-the-art angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) using synchrotron radiation. Since the dispersion of a HF band is one or two orders of magnitude smaller than the experimental energy resolution, conventional ARPES-intensity mapping at the Fermi level does not work, but its k-space gradient mapping can provide a FS much closer to the genuine one. If complications from non-4f conduction bands are to be removed, 4d(3d) → 4f resonant photoemission for a Ce-based HF system is quite essential.         Predicting Product Demands for Large-scale Chain Stores with FTRL-Proximal Linear Regression

        Demand prediction for large-scale chain stores is a large-scale learning problem. A solution for this kind of problems is the online learning used in areas of machine learning when it is computationally infeasible to train over the entire dataset. This paper proposes to apply an online learning algorithm, FTRL-Proximal, to an example demand prediction problem for large-scale chain stores published in an open competition. Experimental results show that the algorithm with some minor modification is better than the best single model published in the competition.

        There are times of changes-indeed, times of turbulence. Fundamental forces are at work which are creating profoundly different competitive environment and set of opportunities and threats for corporations around the world, and particularly in Korea. Korean general insurance industry is facing a lot of opportunities and challenges because of deregulation, technology innovation, and globalization. Significant change is underway in the Korean financial sector due to opening up the market to foreign players and other domestic financial services players, changing customer needs and technology shocks. This will change the competitive environment, profit opportunities and competitive requirements to win. Actually Korean general insurers has been reasonably successful in the past. To continue to be a winner in Korean insurance and financial services market, all players have to build a comprehensive view of likely future competitive landscape, and based on this understanding, a define a set of several strategic priority initiatives and execute against those. For this purpose, this paper first looks at the current trend of Korean domestic general insurance industry, then analyzes problems and opportunities of insurers and finally proposes a set of several strategic priority initiatives to success in the future. Some of the key competition factors are channel efficiency, price and product competition, customer management, and service efficiency. There are times of changes-indeed, times of turbulence.
