본 논문에서는 에너지 법칙(energy principle)에 기초한 AE RMS값과 절삭 파 라미터들 사이의 해석적인 관계를 구하기 위하여 Lee와 Shaffer의 미끄름선장 영역을 변형되는 부피로 가정하여 이론적인 식을 제시하였으며 Al의 2차원 절삭시험을 통하여 이 관계가 절삭과정의 감시에 유용하리라는 것을 확인하였다. This study reviewed the theory of acoustic emission applying generation of acoustic emission in metal cutting and proposed a relationship between fundamental cutting parameters and the root mean square (RMS) voltage of the acoustic emission on the basis of the mechanics of the orthogonal cutting operation. Experimental results are presented for 6063-T5 Auminum and the validity of this relationship is evaluated by a series of tests varying cutting speed, feed rate and rake angle in orthogonal cutting. The original formula derived theoretically has been modified in order to utilize independent of fundamental cutting parameters. RMS voltage of acoustic emission depends on cutting speed and strain rate, but it is not much affected by feed rate. Applying lubricant, the drop of RMS level has been observed.

Although Antony and Cleopatra contains references to Venus, Mars, and other elements of Greek and Roman mythology, the main symbol of Cleopatra, the serpent, clearly represents Satan, the biblical demon. In this paper, I explain and support this point through an examination of Cleopatra's three essential characteristics: pride, lust and destructiveness. In the first place, I consider Cleopatra's pride. Her harsh behavior, especially towards Antony, is excessive even by the standards of a queen. When offended, she does not hesitate to inflict verbal or physical abuse on the messengers or eunuchs, thereby robbing them of their masculinity. And in preparation for the war against Caesar, she overestimates her strength and as a result her navy suffers a severe defeat. Clearly, these problems stem from Cleopatra's pride. Secondly, I show that Cleopatra is a highly erotic woman, a fact that is demonstrated by her mysterious feminine sexuality, her strong desire, and her incredible seductive power. After establishing this point, I examine the relation between Cleopatra's sensual aspects and the hedonism of Egypt, another symbol of Cleopatra. Thirdly, I demonstrate that Cleopatra is a destructive woman, with fatal 'poison' inside her. The poison is her overflowing feminine sexuality. Through her excessive sexuality, Cleopatra weakens Antony's 'sword', the symbol of his masculinity, and then robs him of it, an event that ultimately leads to his destruction. The weakening and subsequent loss of Antony's masculinity is revealed through the change of the two lovers' clothes and Antony's identification with the eunuchs. Cleopatra's three essential characteristics, pride, lust and destructiveness coincide precisely with satanic or demoniac elements in the Bible; indeed, the symbol of Cleopatra, the serpent, is the biblical demon. For this reason, a biblical interpretation of Cleopatra in Antony and Cleopatra is appropriate.
오스템퍼링한 球狀黑鉛鑄鐵의 腐蝕環境中의 磨滅特性에 관한 硏究

This paper is studied to know corrosive wear characteristics of austempered ductile cast iron in corrosive environments against mating material SM45C hardened by heat treatment. The corrosive wear test were carried out by rubbing the annular surface of two test pieces in distilled water and NaCl aqueous solution. The corrosive wear mechanism was investigated by scanning electron microscopy and retained austenite volume fraction was investigated by X-ray diffractometer. The experimental result show that the corrosive wear characteristics depend largely on the Fe(OH)₃ which is influenced by the critical sliding distance Lcr and Lcr shorted with increasing NaCl concentration. It was found that the carbides in matrix have a significant effect on their corrosive wear resistance and the fine acicular bainite showed corrosive wear resistance stronger than that of the coarse acicular and platelet bainite. From above results the model of corrosive wear mechanism in corrosive environments is proposed.
