Among the several conditions involved in the living space of Multi-family dwelling, this thesis, first of all, deals with already established four to five-storeyed apartment building in Daegu area that have vertical passages instead of elevators as the means to connect upper and lower floors. Though careful research, analysis and examination of the real conditions of vertical passages or stairs of such apartment buildings, this thesis aims to contribute to securing safer and more comfortable living spaces by pursuing the making of reasonable vertical passages at the time of designing lowrise apartment buildings in the future.

This study has a subject for the mass housing (alias dictus, Apartment) by unit plans on the Taegu urban area, and has a process of surveying and analyzing the actual using states of dweller in the residential space. It also investigates the spatial using corresponded to the living activities. As results, a cultural searching for urban housing is disciplined with the positive study for surveying the living contents emerged from the residential spaces. The finding of this study indicates the fuction of sleeping, eating, hosting, familiarity and family ritual differ among the housing and floor types. The similaries and differences among housing as well as floor types are discused and implications are provided.

This study is a research on the neighborhood play ground for children and park and green tract of land that is one of the outdoor public facilities within a site of apartment a pattern of multi-family dwelling in Daegu area. The study result investigated is presented as follows. First with respect to park and green tract of land, a minimum area per any number of household must be determined and maintained. And through establishment of roof garden etc, spatial extension for park and green tract of land is needed. And in the case of neighborhood playground for children, it is also needed to establish it by their age group. In addition to this, it is strongly recommended to establish facilities for cripple. If all these conditions are satisfied multi-family dwelling house would have pleasant environment for daily life of men. As a result by this pleasant surroundings, it is necessary to raise the preference for apartment.

The purpose of this study is to analyze about the stress for the residential and it's degree of resident's cognition for high-rised living and then to provide the basic data which contribute to improving the quality of the residental environment. This study was conducted to investigate the stressing of resident from residental environment of high-rised apartment on Taegu area. This investigation was achieved by the questionary field-surveying for housewives of the super high-rised apartments. The Spatial extents of residental environment ware limited by the housing unit plan, the clustered open space and the neighborhood environment. In the result of study was produced that the degrees of residental environment are relative to the human, at factor of residents and the physical factor of residental environment, and are evaluated as the mutual relation between it's variables.
