교대배열 PVA 젤 섬유를 이용한 고분자 색전 코일 제조

고분자 색전 코일을 제조하기 위하여 교대배열 PVA(s-PVA)용액을 제조하고 젤방사 조건의 최적화를 위해 고분자용액의 유변학적 특성을 분석하였다. 현택중합을 통해 비누화도 99%, 교대배열기 함량 56%인 s-PVA를 제조하였고 고분자 용액의 농도에 따른 점도 변화 측정을 통해 최적의 방사농도를 13wt%로 선정하였다. S-PVA 젤 섬유의 연신비에 따른 구조, 형태, 인장 특성을 측정하였다. S-PVA 젤 섬유의 연신비가 증가함에 따라 인장강도가 증가하였고, 최대 연신비인 15배 연신하였을 때 인장강도는 580 MPa이었고 절단신도는 연신비가 증가함에 따라 감소하는 경향을 나타냈다. S-PVA 젤 섬유는 연신비에 따라 결정구조가 발달하고 배향도가 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 색전 코일 제조 시의 열처리온도에 따른 코일의 형태 안정성을 살펴 본 결과 열처리온도가 높을수록 코일의 형태안정성이 우수하였으며 금속 색전 코일로 제조되는 1차 코일 및 2차 코일 형태를 s-PVA 섬유를 이용해 제조하였고 이를 통해 금속 색전 코일의 고분자로의 대체 가능성을 확인하였다. The structure, morphology, and physical properties of syndiotatic poly(vinyl alcohol) (s-PVA) gel spun fibers were investigated to prepare polymeric embolization coils. S-PVA was prepared by saponification of the poly(vinyl ace-tate)/poly(vinyl pivalate)(PVAc/PVPi) copolymer. The viscosity of s-PVA solutions showed shear thinning behavior and the solution formed a homogeneous phase. Based on shear viscosity change with concentration, the optimum dope con-centration was selected as 13 wt%, after which s-PVA fibers were spun and the solvent was removed. The fibers were then drawn with a maximum draw ratio of 15. A polymeric embolization coil was made of the s-PVA gel-spun fibers. The fibers were wound densely onto rigid rod and then annealed at different annealing temperatures. The polymeric embolization coil annealed at 200℃ was similar to metallic coils and its shape was maintained well after extension. Overall, gel-spun PVA fibers performed well for the preparation of primary and secondary coils to replace metallic coils.

Background/Aims: The intestinal pseudo-obstruction (IPO) is a rare and poorly understood manifestation of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), especially in children. It is characterized by clinical features of intestinal obstruction without identifiable obstructive lesion. Methods: We report a 13-year-old girl whose first symptom of SLE was IPO. The patient presented with a 3-day history of nausea, billous vomiting, abdominal distention and no stool passing. Results: Simple abdomen revealed mind dilatation with partial air-fluid level in the small intestine. Abdominal CT and methylcellulose small bowel studies showed massive ascites, engorgement of small mesenteric vessels, pleural effusion and diffuse bowel wall thickening of the gastric antrum, duodenum and jejunum. Delayed passage of contrast for 15 days after abdominal CT was suggestive of the decreased bowel motility. Laboratory finding were positive in ANA, anti-double stranded DNA, anti-Sm and lymphopenia. After a 10-day treatment with a high dose corticosteroid, the symptom was improved. Conclusions: IPO associated with SLE should be considered as a differential diagnosis for patients presenting the symptoms of intestinal obstruction. Early recognition of IPO in SLE and appropriate therapy are important for preventing complications and unnecessary surgery. Our case can raise awareness among pediatricians that although rare, IPO can be the presenting symptom of SLE in children.

중국 정부는 2005년 12월 외국 기업에게 물류시장을 개방하였으며, 이후 글로벌 물류기업들은 합작 또는 제휴의 형태로 중국물류 시장에 진입하였다. 그러나 중국 물류시장 진출은 유통 시스템에 대한 표준화 부족, 지자체의 보호주의, 그리고 중앙중부와 지방정부간의 엄격한 규제로 인해 어려움을 겪고 있는 상태이다. 제조업체의 중국진출과 더불어 동반 진출한 한국 물류기업 역시 중국 물류시장의 장벽을 느끼고 있다. 이러한 측면에서 본 논문은 한국 물류 기업이 중국 물류시장에서 원활하게 사업을 운영할 수 있는 지원방안을 찾는 것이 목적이다. 상황분석, 중요도-만족도 분석을 사용하여 애로요인을 도출하고, 퍼지방법을 통해 중국 물류 시장에 성공적으로 진입하기 위한 지원전략을 도출하였다. 그 결과 중국정부의 외국계 물류기업에 대한 규제 철폐가 가장 중요한 요인으로 분석되었다. Purpose : The purpose of the research is to find strategies for Korean logistics companies to join smoothly Chinese logistics market. Research design, data, methodology : To accomplish its aim, we analyzed following subjects; current situation of the Korean logistics companies in China using Context Analysis, competition structure analysis of logistics companies in China, factors of entering barriers using IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis), and supporting strategies for successful entering in chinese logistics market by Fuzzy method. Results : As a result, the following strategies are needed; ‘decreasing the interference and bureaucracy of local and central governments of China’, ‘easing the Value-Added Tax on container transaction’, and ‘increasing standardization of inspection and customs clearance’. Conclusions : The Conclusion of this research are ‘cooperation strengthening of Korea and China to regulation abolition’, ‘supporting of the gorvenment for professional manpower training’ and ‘cooperation system for sharing information between Korea and China companies’
Experimental Study on Simplex Swirl Injector Dynamics with Varying Geometry

The effects of swirl chamber's diameter and length on injector's dynamic characteristics were investigated through an experimental study. A mechanical pulsator was installed in front of the manifold of a swirl injector which produces pressure oscillations in the feed line. Pressure in the manifold, liquid film thickness in the orifice and the pressure in the orifice were measured in order to understand the dynamic characteristic of the simplex swirl injector with varying geometry. A direct pressure measuring method (DPMM) was used to calculate the axial velocity of the propellant in the orifice and the mass flow rate through the orifice. These measured and calculated values were analyzed to observe the amplitude and phase differences between the input value in the manifold and the output values in the orifice. As a result, a phase-amplitude diagram was obtained which exhibits the injector's response to certain pressure fluctuation inputs. The mass flow rate was calculated by the DPMM and measured directly through the actual injection. The effect of mean manifold pressure change was insignificant with the frequency range of manifold pressure oscillation used in this experiment. Mass flow rate was measured with the variation of injector's geometries and amplitude of the mass flow rate was observed with geometry and pulsation frequency variation. It was confirmed that the swirl chamber diameter and length affect an injector's dynamic characteristics. Furthermore, the direction of geometry change for achieving dynamic stability in the injector was suggested.
Effect of co-administration of atelocollagen and hyaluronic acid on rotator cuff healing

Background: This study aimed to evaluate the co-administration effect of atelocollagen combined with hyaluronic acid (HA) injections for treatment of full-thickness rotator cuff tear (RCT). Methods: Eighty patients who underwent arthroscopic rotator cuff repair for full-thickness RCT from March 2018 to November 2019 were enrolled. The patients were randomly allocated to the following groups: combined atelocollagen and HA injection (group I, n=28), only HA injection (group II, n=26), and no injection (group III, n=26). Clinical outcomes were assessed at 3, 6, and 12 months after surgery using the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons score, visual analog scale pain score, functional scores (pain visual analog scale, function visual analog score), and range of motion. Magnetic resonance imaging was performed 12 months after surgery to evaluate rotator cuff integrity. Results: Preoperative demographic data and postoperative clinical outcomes did not differ significantly among the three groups (p>0.05). However, in group I, the number of steroid injections after surgery was significantly lower than that in the other groups (p=0.011). The retear rate on follow-up magnetic resonance imaging was significantly higher in group II (9.5%, n=2) and group III (13.6%, n=3) than in group I (0%) (p=0.021). Conclusions: Co-administration of atelocollagen and HA improves healing of the rotator cuff and increases the integrity of the rotator cuff repair site. This study provides encouraging evidence for use of combined atelocollagen-HA injections to treat patients with full-thickness RCT.
