The aims of this paper are : (1) to review the techniques to measure the metal dispersion of the supported metal catalysts, (2) to review the experimental results of sintering of supported metal catalysts, (3) to present the methods used to correlate the sintering data, and (4) to discuss the mechanistic models proposed for the sintering process. The experimental results presented will be restricted to supported Group Ⅷ metals ; the majority of the data being for platinum supported on alumina or silica.
L-Asparaginase가 Mouse의 肝細胞에 미치는 影響
鄭鎬三,李圭植,尹康默 한양대학교 의과대학 1985 한양의대 학술지 Vol.5 No.1
L-asparaginase hydrolysis L-asparagine which is essential amino acid for tumor cells to produce an antitumorous effect. On the other hand, it was reported that this drug provoked cytotoxic effect following the inhibition of protein synthesis and that this was a consequence of the exhaustion of L-asparagine in the normal cell. Therefore, the authors have demonstrated the toxicity of L-asparaginase on the hepatic parenchymal cell observing with light and electron microscope: Male mice of ICR strain were used in this experiment and the weight of experimental animals was around 20gm. The animals were divided into two groups, the control and the L-asparaginase treated groups and subdivided into the 6th, 12th and 24th hours groups. L-asparaginase 2,500 I.U./kg, in the water for injection was injected intraperitoneally for the animals of L-asparaginase treatment group. The animals of control group were given water for injection only. The experimental animals were sacrificed at the 6,12 and 24 hours after an administration of L-asparaginase or water for injection. The liver specimens were stained with hematoxylin oesin, methyl green-pyronin and oil red 0 method and observed them under the light microscope. And the ultrathin sectioned specimens were stained with uranyl acetate and lead citrate and observed with the JEM 100B electron microscope. The results obtained were as follows: 1. Cellular swelling accompanied with the vesicular or vacuolar formation, reduction or disappearance of the pyroninophilic granules and fat infiltration were observed in the hepatic parenchymal cells of the L-asparaginase treated mouse. 2. Dilatation, sacculation and fragmentation of the cisternae of RER were accompanied with dissociation of membrane bound ribosomes, and proliferation of SER associated with depletion of glycogen particles were observed. And formation of numerous primary lysosomes, secondary lysosomes, autophagic vacuoles, multivesicular bodies and irregular sized lipid droplets were recognized in the hepatic parenchymal cells of the L-asparaginase treated mouse. Consequently, it is suggested that intraperitoreal injection of L-asparaginase would include the cellular degeneration of the hepatic parenchymal cells in the mouse.
Synthesis of epialeuritolic acid
Kang, Sam-Sik,Woo, Won-Sick The Pharmaceutical Society of Korea 1986 Archives of Pharmacal Research Vol.9 No.3
The triterpenoid isolated from the seeds of Phytolacca plants was confirmed to be acetylaleuritolic acid rather than acetylepialeuritolic acid by direct comparison with synthetic compounds.
Isolation of Handelin from Chrysanthemum boreale
Kang, Sam-Sik,Kim, Ju-Sun,Son, Kun-Ho,Lee, Chong-Ock,Kim, Young-Hee The Pharmaceutical Society of Korea 1996 Archives of Pharmacal Research Vol.19 No.5
The flowers of Chrysanthemum boreale afforded handelin, a unique guaianolide dimer and a mixture of n-hydrocarbons and n-hydrocarbon alcohols in addition to b-sitosterol and b-sitosterol glucoside. Detailed analysis of the $^{1}H$- and $^{13}C$-NMR spectra of handelin was carried out by the application of two-dimensional $^{1}H-^{1}H$-COSY and $^{1}H$- $^{13}C$ multiple-bond, multiple-quantum spectroscopic correlation techniques. Handelin was inactive in the in vitro anti-tumor activity.
Cyclooxygenase-2 Inhibitor from Evodia rutaecarpa
Sam Sik Kang,Ju Sun Kim,Kun Ho Son,Hyun Pyo Kim,Hyeun Wook Chang 한국생약학회 1999 Natural Product Sciences Vol.5 No.2
By bioassay guided fractionation followed by chromatographic separation of the MeOH extract from the fruit of Evodia rutaecarpa (Juss.) Benth. (Rutaceae), a new cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitor was isolated and identified as an alkaloid, rutaecarpine. Other alkaloids such as evodiamine and dehydroevodiamine together with limonoids were also isolated and characterized.
Structures of Two Acylated Flavonol Glucorhamnosides from Ginkgo biloba Leaves
Kang, Sam-Sik,Kim, Ju-Sun,Kwak, Wie-Jong,Kim, Ki-Hyup The Pharmaceutical Society of Korea 1990 Archives of Pharmacal Research Vol.13 No.2
The position of interglycosidic linkages of two acylated flavonol glucorhamnosides from Ginkgo biloba leaves was unambiguously determined as 1 $\longrightarrow$ 2 linkages rather than 1 $\longrightarrow$ 4 ones on the basis of spectroscopic and chemical evidence.
Saponins and Flavonoid Glycosides from Yellow Sweetclover
Kang, Sam-Sik,Lee, Young-Soon,Lee, Eun-Bang The Pharmaceutical Society of Korea 1988 Archives of Pharmacal Research Vol.11 No.3
A new saponin, 3-O-[${\alpha}$-L-rhamnopyranosyl$(1{\rightarrow}2)$-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranosyl$(1{\rightarrow}2)$-${\beta}$-D-glucuronopyranosyl]soyasapogenol B carboxylate (6) has been isolated from the medicinal plant yellow sweetclover together with azukisaponin II(7), robinin(8), and clovin(9). 7,8, and 9 are reported for the first time from this plant. The new saponin(6) exhibited inhibitory action on leucocyte migration in inflammation.

KANG, Sam Sik,KIM, Ju Sun,SON, Kun Ho,KIM, Hyun Pyo,CHANG, Hyeun Wook 영남대학교 약품개발연구소 2001 영남대학교 약품개발연구소 연구업적집 Vol.11 No.-
A mixlure of cerebrosldes, called poke-weed cerebrosldes, was purified from Phytoluccae Radix (Phytolaccaceac) and characterized as I-O-B-D-glucopyranosides of phytosphingosine type ceramides comprised of a common long chain base (2S,3S,4R,8Z)-2-amino-8-octadecene-1,3,4-trlol and fatty acids. The fatty acyl chain of ceramide moieties was determined as (2R)-2-hydroxypentacosanoic acid, (2R)-2-hydroxylignoceric acid, (2R)-2-hydroxybehenic acid. (2R)-2-hydroxypalmitic acid, and palmltic acld. The poke weed cerebroside inhlbited the cyclooxygenase-2 dependent phase of prostaglandin D_(2) generation in bone marrow-derived mast cells in a concentration dependent manner with an IC_(30) of 6.2 ㎍/ml.
