We propose a novel process for the preparation of silica and concentrated hydrochloric acid using chlorosilane residual liquid originating from the polysilicon production process. The process was designed and optimized after conducting pilot plant tests. The effects of circulating acid concentration, flow rate, chlorosilane residual liquid treatment load and other factors on silica products were studied. The results showed that the circulating acid flowrate can effectively control the formation of gel, and the amount of chlorosilane residual liquid has significant influence on the hydrolysis efficiency and operation of the hydrolysis tower. The prepared silica was characterized using XRD, XRF, FTIR, SEM, DLS, TG-MS and N2 adsorption/desorption experiments. The results indicated that silica consisted of amorphous particles, which were spherical, had surface hydroxyl, and showed heterogeneous distribution. The average particle size was 50-80 μm and had high specific surface area (565.049m2g−1), large pore volume (0.449 cm3g−1), and a narrow pore size distribution (3.419 nm). The new technology provides a simple, efficient and environmentally friendly way for treating chlorosilane residual liquid, as well as a cost-effective method for the preparation of silica.
Analysis of axial compression performance of BFRRAC-filled square steel tubular column

To make up for the performance weaknesses of recycled aggregate concrete (RAC), expand the application range of RAC, and alleviate the environmental problems caused by excessive exploitation of natural coarse aggregates (NCA), this study proposes a basalt fiber-reinforced recycled aggregate concrete (BFRRAC)-filled square steel tubular columns that combines two modification methods of steel tube and fiber, which may greatly enhance the mechanical properties of RAC. The axial compression performance for BFRRAC-filled square steel tubular columns was reported during this study. Seven specimens with different replacement ratios of recycled coarse aggregate (RCA), length-diameter ratios, along with basalt fiber (BF) contents were designed as well as fabricated for performing axial compression test. For each specimen, the whole failure process as well as mode of specimen were discovered, subsequently the load-axial displacement curve has obtained, after which the mechanical properties was explained. A finite element analysis model for specimens under axial compression was then established. Subsequently, based on this model, the factors affecting axial compression performance for BFRRAC-filled square steel tubes were extended and analyzed, after which the corresponding design suggestion was proposed. The results show that in the columns with length-diameter ratios of 5 and 8, bulging failure was presented, and the RAC was severely crushed at the bulging area of the specimen. The replacement ratio of RCA as well as BF content little affected specimen's peak load (less than 5%). As the content of BF enhanced from 0 kg/m3 to 4 kg/m3 , the dissipation factor and ductility coefficients increased by 10.2% and 5.6%, respectively, with a wide range.
Research on Robustness Tracking of Maneuvering Target for Bionic Robot

In order to improve vision tracking quality of the bionic robot, the new automatic tracking algorithm system is proposed in this paper. Base on design of FPGA image acquisition system, the scene noise is removed by adaptive wiener filtering. Aiming at the problem of ROI region extraction in the scene, the seed pixel is selected with background subtraction, orderly, the neighborhood point is judged, the label of the primary selection seed is calibrated. The scene image segmentation algorithm is proposed based on snake model. The matching process is to find the maximum optimization process of the similar function, and the gradient drop method is adopted in mean shift algorithm. Extended kalman filtering is used to realize the robustness state estimation and prediction of the target tracking system. The results given by tracing experiment indicate that the proposed detailed algorithm is effective for partial loss of maneuvering target.
FPGA Implementation of Image Acquisition for Quadruped Search Robot Monitor

The problem of image acquisition system for quadruped search robot is proposed based on FPGA. The quadruped search robot can be used in smart home monitor. In the design, FPGA ping-pong operation method is used. The OV9650 camera module, EP4CE15 main control chip module and auxiliary module (clock unit and PLL unit) are completed with module method. The software design of the system is completed, including the control module and image acquisition module. According to the problems of co-ordination mechanisms of image acquisition, image storage and image processing, the immunity algorithm is improved to achieve co-ordination mechanisms. The simulation results given by training time of co-ordination mechanisms indicate that the proposed image acquisition system of FPGA is effective.
An amplify-and-forward relaying scheme based on network coding for Deep space communication

Network coding, as a new technique to improve the throughput, is studied combined with multi-relay model in this paper to address the challenges of long distance and power limit in deep space communication. First, an amplify-and-forward relaying approach based on analog network coding (AFNC) is proposed in multi-relay network to improve the capacity for deep space communication system, where multiple relays are introduced to overcome the long distance link loss. The design of amplification coefficients is mathematically formulated as the optimization problem of maximizing SNR under sum-power constraint over relays. Then for a dual-hop relay network with a single source, the optimal amplification coefficients are derived when the multiple relays introduce non-coherent noise. Through theoretic analysis and simulation, it is shown that our approach can achieve the maximum transmission rate and perform better over single link transmission for deep space communication.
Cyclooxygenase-2 Polymorphisms and Susceptibility to Colorectal Cancer: A Meta-Analysis

Purpose: Four polymorphisms, -765G>C, -1195G>A, 8473T>C, and Val511Ala, in the cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) gene were identified to be associated with colorectal cancer (CRC) risk. However, the results are inconsistent. The objective of this meta-analysis was to evaluate the association between these four polymorphisms and the risk of CRC. Materials and Methods: All eligible case-control studies published up to December 2012 on the association between the four polymorphisms of COX-2 and CRC risk were identified by searching PubMed and Web of Science. The CRC risk associated with the four polymorphisms of the COX-2 gene was estimated for each study by odds ratio (OR) together with its 95% confidence interval (CI), respectively. Results: A total of 15 case-control studies were included. Overall, no evidence has indicated that the -1195A allele, -765C allele, 8473C allele, and 511Ala allele are associated with susceptibility to CRC (-1195G>A: OR=1.11, 95% CI: 0.82-1.51, p=0.78; -765G>C: OR=1.08, 95% CI: 0.96-1.21, p=0.07; 8473T>C: OR=1.03, 95% CI: 0.89-1.18, p=0.91; Val511Ala:OR=0.71, 95% CI: 0.46-1.09, p=0.94). However, stratified analysis with ethnicity indicated that individuals with -765GC or GC/CC genotypes had an increased risk of CRC among Asian populations (GC vs. GG: OR=1.05, 95% CI: 0.87-1.28, p=0.03; GC+CC vs. GG: OR=1.08, 95% CI: 0.96-1.21, p=0.07). Conclusion: This meta-analysis indicated that -765G>C polymorphism was significantly associated with susceptibility to CRC in Asian populations.
