정신지체 특수학교 전환교육 교사의 직무수행능력 기준 개발 = Developing standard on competency of transition education teachers in schools for the mentally retarded

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 한국의 정신지체 특수학교 전환교육 교사의 직무수행능력 기준을 개발하는데 목적이 있다. CEC(2003)의 전환 전문가 직무수행능력에 대한 정신지체 특수학교 교사들의 인식수준을 바탕으로, 전환교육 관련 전문가로 구성된 델파이 위원 8명의 판정을 통하여 기준을 개발하였다. 직무수행능력의 인식수준을 알아보기 위하여 전국 88개 정신지체 특수학교의 전환(직업)교육 교사 420명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 자료는 기초통계와 요인분석으로 처리했다.
연구의 결론은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 정신지체 특수학교 전환교육 교사의 직무수행능력에 대한 중요도 인식수준은 높으나 수행도 인식수준은 평균 이하로 낮다.
직무수행능력의 영역별 중요도 인식수준은 학습 환경과 사회적 상호작용, 학습자의 발달과 특성, 수업 계획, 사정, 교수 전략, 협력, 전문성과 윤리적 실천, 기초의 순이며, 영역별 수행도 인식수준은 수업계획, 학습자의 발달과 특성, 학습 환경과 사회적 상호작용, 교수 전략, 사정, 기초, 협력, 전문성과 윤리적 실천의 순이다. 전체적으로 직무수행능력의 중요도는 높게 인식하면서, 직무수행능력의 수행도는 낮은 실정을 잘 표현하고 있다.
둘째, 한국의 정신지체 특수학교 전환교육 교사들의 직무수행능력 기준은 전환의 기초, 전환 교수 전략, 전환 협력의 3개 영역 48개 항목, ‘전환의 기초’ 영역 10개 항목(지식 7항목, 기술 3항목), ‘전환 교수 전략’ 영역 20개 항목(지식 9항목, 기술 11항목), ‘전환 협력’ 영역 18개 항목(지식 8항목, 기술 10항목)으로 전체 지식 24항목, 기술 24항목을 제시한다.
이 연구에서 제안한 직무수행능력 기준은 전환교육 교사 자신의 직무수행 수준을 평가하고, 장점과 단점에 대한 통찰력을 얻는데 사용될 수 있을 것이며, 전환교육 교사 양성 및 재교육프로그램의 적절성을 평가하고 개선하기 위한 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 그리고 전환교육 교사의 자격 요건을 보완하고, 임용방법을 개선하기 위한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to develop standard on competency of transition education teachers in schools for the mentally retarded. As for the competency of transition professionals in CEC(2003), together with the basement of the perception of teachers who have been schools for the mentally retarded. The following was developed standard through the evaluation of transition professionals for Delphi study that consisted of eight persons.
In order to verify the standard on perception of the competency of the teachers. 420 teachers who had worked at 88 schools for the mentally retarded were surveyed. The data was obtained through the use of basic statistics and other factor analysis.
The conclusions that were obtained were as follows.
First, Teachers recognized that the importance of competency was high, but the performance of competency was low in schools for the mentally retarded.
As for the standard of the importance of perception used in various fields the following ranking was obtained; 1)studying environments and social interaction, 2)learners' development and characteristics, 3)instructional planning, 4)assessment, 5)instructional strategies, 6)collaboration, professional, 7)ethical practice, 8)foundations.
As for the standard of performance on perception in various fields, there were the following orders; 1)instructional planning, 2)learners' development and characteristics, 3)studying environments and social interactions, 4)instructional strategies, 5)assessment, 6)foundations, 7)collaboration, 8)professional and ethical practice.
Second, the standard of competency drawn from transition education teachers throughout schools the mentally retarded in Korea, there were three fields for foundations of transition, transition instruction strategies and collaboration with 48 subcategories, 10 items(7 items in knowledge, 3 items in technology) in the fields of ‘transition foundations', 20 items(9 items in knowledge, 11 items in technology) in the fields of ‘transition instruction strategies', 18 items(8 items in knowledge, 10 items in technology) in the fields of ‘collaboration', in total they suggested 48 items; 24 items in knowledge and 24 items in technology.
The standard of competency suggested by this study would be to estimate the standard on transition education teachers' competency. This could be estimated appropriateness of the training teachers for transition education and how it can be reused as a basis for the continuing improvement of the appropriateness of reeducation programs. This standard of competency can be used as a way of improving the qualification of teachers for transition that are used in the present environment.
