고등학생의 분노가 우울 및 불안에 미치는 영향력: 자아존중감의 조절효과를 중심으로 = The Influence of Anger on Depression and Anxiety in High School Students: Focusing on Moderating Effects of Self-esteem

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This purpose of this study is to the influence of anger on depression and anxiety in high school students and analyzed how to moderate effects of self-esteem. Data gained from a survey for 627 high school students residing in Daejeon Metropolitan City or South Chungcheong Province were used for the analysis. The data were processed by using the SPSS 19.0 for descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis and factor analysis as well as to calculate Cronbach`s alpha, multiple regression analysis was performed to identify the effects on the causal links among variables while a linear regression analysis was performed to validate the moderating effects. The results of this study are as follows: First, for high school students, anger has a positive correlation with depression and anxiety while self-esteem has a negative correlation with depression and anxiety. Second, self-esteem has the ability to moderate the effect of anger on depression and anxiety. This study is to provide an empirical basis that can help high school students achieve successful academic results and be provided with an environment, to which they can socially and psychologically adjust by identifying the maladjusted factors causing anger to affect depression and anxiety and looking for moderating factors that can prevent such correlations.
