한국판 장애아 부모 대처행동 척도 타당화 연구 = Validation of Korean Coping Behavior Scale for Parents of Children and Adolescents with Disabilities

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 Krause와 Petermann(1997)의 장애아 부모 스트레스 및 대처행동 척도(Soziale Orientierung von Eltern behinderter Kinder) 중 대처행동 척도를 한국의 장애아 부모를 대상으로 타당화 하였다. 본 연구에는 서울, 부산, 경기, 충남, 전북, 경북에 소재하고 있는 특수학교, 장애전문 어린이집, 통합 어린이집에 다니는 0세~20세 장애아 부모 331명이 참여하였다. 20문항에 대한 탐색적 요인분석(EFA) 결과 17문항 4요인 구조가 확인되었다. 이를 토대로 확인적 요인분석(CFA)을 실시한 결과 “부부협력 강화”, “자녀를 위한 적극적 문제 해결”, “자아실현”, “사회적-정서적 지지 추구”의 4개 잠재변인을 설명하는 정도가 적합한 것으로 확인되었다. 최종적으로 확인된 17문항 4요인 구조모형이 자녀의 연령과 상관없이 장애아 부모에게 일반적으로 적용할 수 있는지 확인하기 위하여 교차타당성을 검증하였다. 이를 위해 형태 동일성과 다중집단 분석(multi-group analysis)을 통해 측정 동일성을 검증하였다. 최종 척도에 대한 신뢰도를 분석하기 위해 Cronbach’s α값을 산출하였는데, 척도 전체의 Cronbach’ α는 .89, 각 하위요인은 .60~.93 범위에 있었다. 이로써 한국판 장애아 부모 대처행동 척도는 자녀의 연령에 상관없이 부모의 대처행동을 측정하는 타당하고 신뢰로운 도구로 유용하게 사용할 수 있을 것으로 판단되었다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의, 제한점 및 후속 연구 방향에 대해 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to evaluate reliability and validity of Korean translation of SOEBEK in order to determine the extent to which this measure was generalizable to korean population. The participants were 331 parents of children and adolescents with disabilities from 0 to 20 years. Exploratory factor analysis was performed through principal axial factoring with direct oblimin rotation. The results of a factor analysis indicate that the scale consists of 4 factors and 17 items: couple collaboration, active problem-solving, self-actualization, seeking social-emotional support. The results of the Confirmatory factor analysis supported a four-factor structure. To see whether the final scale was applicable to parents of adolescents with disabilities, multi-groups equality was conducted using Structure Equation Modeling (SEM). In view of the results, the final scale was equally applicable to parents of children and adolescents with disabilities to assessment their coping strategies. Internal consistency of the final scale demonstrated cronbach’s alpha=.89. These results suggest that the Korean coping scale for parents of children and adolescents with disabilities will be available. Finally, the implication of this study and limitation were discussed.
