상담자의 공감, 상태-특성불안, 완벽주의 부정적 결과가 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향 = Effects of Counselor Empathy, State-Trait Anxiety, Negative Consequences of Perfectionism on Psychological Burnout Among Counselors

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The present study examined how counselor empathy, state-trait anxiety, and negative consequences of perfectionism influenced counselor`s psychological burnout. Data were collected through mail surveys from 228 counselors. Results from one-way ANOVAs showed that there were significant main effects of counselor empathy, state-trait anxiety, negative consequences of perfectionism. Also, it was revealed that anxiety and negative consequence of perfectionism positively correlated with counselor burnout, while counselor empathy negatively correlated with counselor burnout. Results from a multiple regression analysis showed that among the three variables anxiety predicted counselor burnout the most, perfectionism predicting the least. Implications for counseling and future research are discussed.
