진로장애와 진로포부가 중학생의 진로태도성숙에 미치는 영향 = The Effect of Career Barriers and Career Aspiration on Middle School students` Career Attitude Maturity

The participants of this study were 609 middle school students (305 boys and 304 girls) in Busan. They were the sec The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of career barriers and career aspiration on career attitude maturity of middle school students by sex and a school variable(single-sex or coeducational school). ond graders from 3 different schools-a boys` school, a girls` school and a coeducational school. Their response to questionnaires was analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, and hierarchical regression analysis. Significant differences were found in three variables(career barriers, career aspiration, career attitude maturity) by gender and school variable (single-sex or coeducational school). Due to the significant differences, a series of hierarchical regression analysis was performed on the data of each group divided by gender and school variable as well as all subjects. The results of hierarchical regression analysis revealed that career aspiration can play a role of moderating variable which has a positive effect on negative relations between career barriers and career attitude maturity. The moderator role of career aspiration was more prominent in the boys` data than girls`. Discussion regarding the results of this study is provided.
