한국 대학생 직업목표검사의 개발 및 타당화 = Development and Validation of the ‘Korean College Students Vocational Goal Inventory’

The purposes of this study were to develop and validate a ‘Korean College students Vocational Goal Inventory(KVGI)’ applicable to individual counseling and career guidance programs for college students. The inventory was developed in the following process: initial 103 items were made by categorizing preliminary study for theoretical background and gathering exploratory and self-report data from 61 college students and experts. Then the initial items were reduced to 86 of preliminary inventory for vocational objectives by subjecting them to expert advice. Then exploratory factor analysis was carried out in the preliminary test of 224 college students to develop the “revised preliminary vocational goal inventory” consisting of 47 items. Then the study was conducted with 1,311 male and female college students attending four-year colleges in Seoul and local areas(Gyeonggi, Busan, Daejeon, and Gwangju). Factor analysis reduced the 47 items to 31 and resulted in the final ‘Korean college students Vocational goal Inventory’. The inventory's overall reliability was very good with .93 of internal consistency coefficients(Cronbach's α). Confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to test the inventory's validity, and the results show that all the indexes to represent the model fitness scored .9 or higher. A cross-validation study was conducted with 306 college students from Gyeonggi and Incheon, and the statistically significant results confirmed the possibility for generalization. And psychological tests and criterion-related validity test closed related to the inventory were conducted, and the results provided statistical significance. The final ‘Korean college students Vocational goal Inventory’ consisted of the following 7 subfactors structure: 15 items of characteristics and 16 of conditions of vocational goal. The inventory is expected to help college students and counseling centers engage in efficient job selection and career guidance.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 대학생들을 대상으로 개인상담과 진로지도프로그램 진행에 실천적 활용이 가능한한국 대학생 직업목표검사를 개발하여 타당화 하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 선행연구 검토, 대학생 자기보고식 탐색자료 수집, 관련 전문가 의견반영 등을 통하여 103개의 최초문항을 수집하였다. 그리고 진로분야 교수 등 전문가의 내용타당도 분석 등을 통해 86개의 예비문항을 구성하였으며, 대학생 224명 대상의 예비검사에서 요인분석 등을 통해 47문항을 추출하였다. 이를 토대로 전국 13개 대학생 1,311명을 대상으로 본 검사를 실시하여 최종적으로 고차 2요인, 하위 7요인 31문항 검사를 개발하였다. 고차 2요인은 직업목표의 특성요인(15문항)과 직업목표의 상황요인(16문항)으로 명명하였으며, 하위 7요인은 직업목표의 특성요인이 구체성(7문항), 도전성(3문항), 자율성(5문항)으로, 목표의 상황요인은 피드백(4문항), 가치기준(4문항), 개인의 능력(3문항), 경쟁상황(5문항)으로 명명하였다. 최종 개발된 검사의 전체 신뢰도는 내적 일치도 계수가 .93, 반분신뢰도는 .84로 모두 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 검사의 타당도 검증을 위해 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 모형의 적합도 지수들(NFI, RFI, IFI, TLI, CFI)은 모두 .9이상으로 바람직하게 나타났다. 아울러 경인지역 대학생 306명을 대상으로 AMOS 17.0을 활용하여 교차 타당화를 실시한 결과, 통계적으로 유의한 결과가 나타나 본 검사의 일반화 가능성을 확인하였다. 끝으로 본 연구의 제한점 및 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.
