명화감상을 통한 유아의 철학적 탐구공동체 수업 모형 개발 = The Development of Instructional Model for the Early Childhood Community of Philosophical Inquiry through Masterpiece Appreciation

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 명화를 철학적 탐구공동체의 새로운 매체로 채택하여 유아에게 적합한 철학적 탐구공동체 수업 모형을 개발하는데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 철학적 탐구공동체 수업은 유아의 사고력 함양에 적합한 프로그램으로 알려져 왔지만, 좀 더 효과적인 실시를 위해서는 철학적 가치가 담겨있으면서도 아이들의 흥미를 유발할 수 있는 보다 다양한 학습 내용 및 방법의 개발 필요성이 요청되어 왔다.
이에 본 연구에서는 미적인 요소, 인류의 역사, 문명, 사상, 사건 등을 담고 있는 명화라는 소재를 활용하여 유아들의 흥미와 호기심을 유발하는 새로운 형태의 철학적 탐구공동체 수업모형을 개발하였다. 이를 위해 기존의 관련 연구를 토대로 유아를 위한 철학적 탐구공동체 1차 수업 모형을 개발하고, 전문가들의 검토를 거쳐 수업모형을 수정하였다. 수정된 모형을 부산광역시 소재 유치원 학생 28명을 대상으로 적용하고, 철학적 탐구공동체 전문가와 수업을 참관한 유아전공 학생들을 대상으로 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 이러한 과정을 거쳐 명화감상을 통한 유아의 철학적 탐구공동체 수업 모형을 최종 개발하였고, 토론 계획, 명화 제시, 토론 주제 선정, 토론 진행, 토론 마무리, 이야기 만들기의 수업 순서를 제안하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed to develop instructional model for the early childhood community of philosophical inquiry through masterpiece appreciation. Although we have known the community of philosophical inquiry is a good methodo- logy for developing infant's thinking faculty, it has not been used very actively and widely in Korea. To facilitate this program more effectively and systematically, it is necessary to develop much better and more various texts and teaching methods which contain philosophical values than those of current used programs.
First, this study developed a new primary instructional model for community of philosophical inquiry using masterpiece contains beauty, history, culture, idea of mankind to attract children's interest and curiosity. And then the modified program by experts on this field was applied to 28 children of an public kindergarten in Pusan for 3 weeks. The final program was fixed after doing focus group interview with a professor, 2 peer teachers and 2 senior students of universities majoring in this field about the applied teaching program using masterpiece. The procedures of this final program are as follows; preparing discussion, offering masterpiece, deciding and discussing the subject for dialogue, finishing discussion and making stories.
