초기 청소년의 부모애착과 심리내적 증상 관계에서 정서조절의 매개효과에 관한 5년 종단연구 = A 5-Year-Longitudinal Study of the Mediation Effect of Emotion Regulation on the Relationship between Early Adolescents' Parental Attachment and Psychological Symptoms

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 초기 청소년의 부모애착과 정서조절이 시간의 경과에 따라 심리내적 증상에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 청소년 초기에 해당하는 초등학교 4학년부터 중학교 2학년까지 반복적으로 추적 조사한 청소년 패널자료를 활용하였다. 분석 방법으로는 개인 간 차이와 변인의 종단적 변화경향을 살펴볼 수 있고, 변인들 간의 종단적 관련성을 알 수 있는 다변량 잠재성장모형(Multivariate Latent Growth Modeling)분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초기 청소년의 부모애착과 정서조절은 시간이 지남에 따라 점차 감소하는 추세로 나타났으며, 심리내적 증상은 점차 증가하는 추세임을 확인하였다. 둘째, 부모애착 초기치와 변화율이 심리내적 증상의 초기치와 변화율에 부적영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 부모애착은 정서조절을 통해 심리내적 증상에 영향을 주는 것으로 확인하였다. 부모애착 초기치와 변화율은 정서조절 초기치와 변화율에 정적으로 영향을 미쳤으며, 정서조절은 심리내적 증상에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 초기 청소년의 심리내적 증상을 미연에 예방하고 개입 방안을 마련하기 위해서는 부모애착과 정서조절에 대한 지속적인 관찰 및 교육이 중요함을 시사한다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 초기 청소년의 심리내적 증상을 돕기 위해 상담적 개입에 대한 실천적 함의와 후속 연구, 제언에 대해 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed to investigate the longitudinal effect of early adolescents' Parental Attachment(PA) and Emotion Regulation(ER) on Psycological Symptoms(PS). In order to answer those hypotheses, multivariate Latent Growth Modeling was employed on Korean Youth Panel Data(KYPD) of five years from fourth to 8th grade. Findings in this study showed that PA and ER decreased and PS increased during this period. When the three variables were simultaneously modeled, the change of PA was positively related to that of ER but the linear slopes of PA and ER were negatively related to that of PS. The longitudinal mediating effect of ER on the relation between PA and PS was significant; that is, the initial level and slope of ER were positively influenced by those of PA and showed negative effects on those of PS. The current study demonstrates the longitudinal relationships among PA, ER, and PS and illustrates theoretical and practical implications with regards to attachment theories and psychological adaptation of adolescents.
