빈곤청소년의 진로결정수준에 대한 진로결정 자기효능감의 영향과 사회적 지지의 조절효과 분석 = A Study on the Influence of Career Decision Self-Efficacy on Career Decision Level and the Moderating Effects of Social Support: Focused on adolescents from low income families

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study explores the moderating effects of social support in the relationship between the career decision-making self-efficacy and the career decision-making level of the adolescents from low-income families. 827 adolescents, who were enrolled in a self-sufficiency supporting center for adolescents, participated in this study. Linear regression analysis was adopted. Results indicate that higher levels of career decision-making self-efficacy are positively related to the higher levels of career decision-making. In addition, of social support, peer support moderated the effects of career decision-making self-efficacy on the career decision-making level. No effects of gender, age, family disorganization, and part-time job experience on the level of career decision making was found. Practical implications of this study for career guidance are two folds; One is that, in order to enhance the career decision making level of the adolescents from low-income families, their career decision making self-efficacy should be put into consideration; The other is that environmental factors such as social support from families and peers should be contextualized in career guidance for adolescents from low income families along with individual factors. Overall, this study lays a groundwork for career guidance when working with adolescents from low income families.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 빈곤청소년의 진로결정수준과 진로결정 자기효능감의 관계 및 이 두 변수에 대한 사회적 지지 의 조절효과를 검증하여 향후 빈곤청소년 진로지도에 대한 실천적 함의를 제시하는 것이다. 사용한 데이 터는 전국 28개 청소년 자활지원관이 2007년 6월에 조사한 자료를 원자료로 하여 재분석하였고, 빈곤청소 년 827명이 최종 분석에 사용되었으며, 변수간의 인과관계 및 조절효과 검증을 위해 선형 회귀분석방법을 적용하였다. 연구결과, 진로결정 자기효능감이 높아짐에 따라, 그리고 진로지도에 대한 경험이 있음에 따 라 진로결정수준이 높아졌다. 하지만 함께 분석에 사용한 성별과 연령, 가족해체여부, 아르바이트 경험여 부는 진로결정수준에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 주지 못했다. 이와 함께 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로결정 수준 간의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 하위 차원인 친구지지가 조절변수로서의 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났 다. 이러한 연구결과에 따라 빈곤계층 청소년의 진로결정수준 향상을 위해서는 청소년 개인에 대한 접근 이외에 환경적 요인인 가족 및 친구요인을 고려한 다차원적 개입이 이루어져야 하고, 진로결정 자기효능 감에 대한 개입이 강화되어져야 하겠다. 또한 진로지도와 관련한 가족의 역할을 강화해야 하고, 특히 청소 년 진로지도 과정 중에는 진로결정 자기효능감과 상호작용효과가 검증된 친구지지가 함께 제공될 수 있는 체계를 마련해야 하겠다. 본 연구는 빈곤청소년의 진로결정에 대한 진로결정 자기효능감과 가족지지, 친구 지지 효과를 검증함으로써 이와 관련한 실천적 개입의 기초자료를 제공해주고 있다.
