청소년 자살사고의 보호요인과 위험요인 : 인문계 및 실업계 고등학생의 학교생활 스트레스, 우울, 부모관계, 친구관계 및 자살사고와의 관계

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 인문계 고등학생과 실업계 고등학생을 대상으로 학교생활스트레스, 부모지지, 친구지지, 부모와의 갈등, 친구와의 갈등, 우울, 그리고 자살사고와의 관계를 살펴봄으로써 청소년 자살사고에 대한 보호요인과 위험요인을 밝혀보고자 하였다. 연구대상자는 경기도 소재의 6개 고등학교에 재학중인 인문계 고등학생 445명, 실업계 고등학생 409명이었다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인문계 고등학생과 실업계 고등학생 모두에게서 우울은 학교생활스트레스와 자살사고 사이를 부분 매개하였다. 둘째, 인문계 고등학생에게서 부모지지는 우울과 자살사고와의 관계에서 조절효과가 없었던 반면, 실업계 고등학생에게서는 부모지지의 조절효과가 있었다. 셋째, 인문계 고등학생에게서 친구지지는 우울과 자살사고와의 관계에서 상호작용효과가 없었으나, 실업계 고등학생에게서는 친구 지지의 상호작용효과가 있었다. 넷째, 인문계 고등학생에게서 부모갈등은 우울과 자살사고와의 관계에서 상호작용효과가 없었던 반면, 실업계 고등학생에게서 부모갈등의 상호작용효과가 있었다. 다섯째, 인문계 고등학생에게서 친구갈등은 우울과 자살사고와의 관계에서 조절효과가 있었으나 실업계 고등학생에게서 친구갈등의 조절효과는 없었다.. 이러한 연구결과는 고등학생의 자살사고에 개입할 때 학교유형에 따른 차별적인 대처전략이 필요하다는 점을 시사하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to explore the relationships among school-related stress, support from parents, support from friends, conflict with parents, conflict with friends, depression and suicidal ideation in a community group of Korean students from academic and vocational high schools. The students were selected from 6 high schools located in Gyunggi Province, with 445 students selected from academic high schools and 409 from vocational high schools. The results indicate that 1) for both academic and vocational high school students, depression partially mediates school-related stress and suicidal ideation. 2) For students from academic high schools, support from parents does not moderate the relation between depression and suicidal ideation, but for students from vocational high schools, support from parents moderates the relation. 3) For students from academic high schools, support from friends does not have any interactional effects between depression and suicidal ideation, but for students from vocational high schools, support from friends does have an interaction effect. 4) For students from academic high schools, conflict with parents does not have any interaction effect between depression and suicidal ideation, but for students from vocational high schools, conflict with parents does have an interaction effect. 5) For students from academic high schools, conflict with friends moderates the relationship between depression and suicidal ideation, but for students from vocational high schools, conflict with friends does not moderate the relationship. This study suggests that, when dealing with suicidal ideation among high school students, it is important to adopt differentiated coping strategies in accordance with different types of high schools.
