대학생의 진로적응성과 내적통제, 사회적지지 및 진로관여행동의 인과적 관계 = The Causal Relationship of Career Adaptability, Internal Locus, Social Support and Occupational Engagement in College Students

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생의 진로적응성과 내적통제, 사회적지지 및 진로관여행동 간의 인과적 관계를 밝히고자 가설적 구조방정식 모형을 설정하여 변인 간의 관계를 분석하였다. 연구대상은 서울과 충청 지역 대학에 재학 중인 대학생 420명이며, 임의표집을 통하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 가설적 구조모형의 적합도는 변인간의 인과관계를 예측하기에 적합하였다. 사회적 지지는 내적통제, 진로관여행동, 진로적응성에 정적 영향을, 내적통제는 진로관여행동과 진로적응성에 정적 영향을, 진로관여행동은 진로적응성에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 내적통제와 진로관여행동의 매개효과도 확인하였다. 따라서 대학생의 진로적응성을 향상시키기 위해서는 진로상담 및 진로지도 프로그램에서 내적통제, 사회적지지와 진로관여행동 수준을 높이는 개입의 필요성이 제기된다. 분석결과에 대해 선행연구와 관련하여 논의하고, 연구의 의의와 한계 및 후속연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to identify a causal relationship among career adaptability, internal locus, social support and occupational engagement in college students. Data was collected from 420 college students who matriculated in colleges located in Seoul and Chungcheong-do province, Korea. The results showed that social support had a direct effect on internal locus, occupational engagement and career adaptability and internal locus had a direct effect on occupational engagement and career adaptability. Occupational engagement had a direct effect on career adaptability. Internal locus and occupational engagement partially meditated the link from social support to career adaptability. The findings extended past research on career adaptability through identifying a causal relationship among the variables. Some recommendations for future researchers and practical uses were suggested. It is recommended to provide intervention including career counseling and education which can help college students have internal locus, social support and occupational engagement. The implications and limitations of this study and directions for future study were discussed.
