미술치료사가 지각한내담자의 치료저항 척도 개발 연구 = A Study on the Development Scale of Clients Resistance Perceived by Art Therapists

The purpose of this study was to develop a tool to systematically and objectively measure client resistance throughout the entire process of art therapy based on the perceptions of art therapists. We reviewed previous literature and scales regarding treatment resistance and collected treatment resistance case studies experienced by 31 art therapists. Item content validity was verified by four experts in art therapy. Item adequacy of expression was verified by a specialist in Korean literature. The initial questionnaire comprised 80 questions. After 192 art therapists completed the questionnaire, a factorial analysis was conducted. As a result, a scale of 39 questions consisting of five factors was developed. Results of the confirmatory factor analysis proved that the factor structure was stable as well. Factor 1 was named ‘resistance to emotional awareness and expression’, Factor 2 ‘resistance to therapists’ interventions or therapists themselves’, Factor 3 ‘emotional overdependence and non-spontaneity’, Factor 4 ‘resistance to problem recognition and change’, and Factor 5 ‘avoidance of opening oneself’. Cronbach’s α for the whole scale was .940, and Cronbach’s α of each subfactor was .895, .869, .857, .866, and .827, respectively. The split-half reliability of the entire scale was .907, while that of the subfactors was .898, .841, .883, .836, and .791, respectively, indicating satisfactory reliability. Moreover, verification of the content validity of the client treatment resistance scale showed relatively satisfactory validity.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 미술치료사의 지각에 근거하여 미술치료 전 과정 속에서 발생하는 내담자의 저항을 체계적이고 객관적으로 측정할 수 있는 도구를 개발하고자 하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 치료저항에 관한 문헌고찰과 기존척도의 검토 및 미술치료사 31명의 치료저항 경험을 수집한 후 미술치료 전문가 4명에게 내용타당도를, 국문학 전공자 1명에게 문항표현의 적절성을 검증받은 후 예비문항으로 80문항을 구성하였다. 미술치료사 192명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 후 요인분석한 결과 5개 요인으로 구성된 39문항의 척도를 개발하였으며, 확인적 요인분석 결과 요인구조도 안정적임이 확인되었다. 요인 1은 ‘정서 인식과 표현에 대한 저항’, 요인 2는 ‘치료사 개입 및 치료사에 대한 저항’, 요인 3은 ‘정서적 과의존 및 비자발성’, 요인 4는 ‘문제 인식 및 변화에 대한 저항’, 요인 5는 ‘자기개방의 회피’로 명명하였다. 전체 척도 Cronbach’s α는 .940이었고, 하위 요인 각각의 Cronbach’s α는 .895, .869, .857, .866, .827이었으며, 척도 전체의 반분신뢰도 계수는 .907, 하위 요인의 반분신뢰도 계수는 각각 .898, .841, .883, .836, .791로 나타나 양호한 신뢰도를 가진다고 볼 수 있다. 또한 내담자의 치료저항 척도의 내용타당도를 검증한 결과 비교적 양호한 타당도를 나타내었다.
