기독교상담 특성이 반영된 사례개념화

이 연구는 기독교상담에 있어서 상담자 교육이나 상담수련감독 및 사례개념화를 할 때 기독교신앙의 특성이 반영된 상담활동이어야 한다는 것을 다루었다. 사례개념화는 상담자가 내담자와의 상담내용을 충분히 이해하고 있는지, 그 내용을 잘 정리하여 설명할 수 있는지, 그리고 수련감독 상담자가 그 사례를 얼마나 잘 지도, 안내할 수 있는지 등을 다루는 것이다. 즉 사례개념화에는 크게 세 가지 개념(기능), (1) 이해 (2) 설명 (3) 안내 등으로 요약되는데 각각의 개념에 기독교신앙이 반영되어야 기독교상담적 사례개념화가 될 수 있을 것이다. 사례개념화는 상담자 교육이나 수련감독에서 필수적 요소로서 상담능력 향상에 중요한 것이다. 하지만 사례개념화 요소는 상담이론이나 학자들마다 주장이 상이하고 다양하여 일치되거나 통일된 것이 없다. 다양한 상담이론에 기초하여 그 요소들을 종합하여 양식과 유형을 응용, 적용하고 있다. 사례개념화의 종합된 양식과 유형은 상담이론과 기법 및 대상에 따라 지속적으로 수정, 변형, 발전될 수 있는 것이다. 기독교상담에서는 일반상담이 종합, 정리한 사례개념화 요소들을 수용 또는 응용할 수 있지만, 일반상담 사례개념화에서는 신앙적, 영적 상태를 다루지 않으므로 당연히 기독교상담 분야에서 신앙적, 영적 요소를 적절하게 응용하여 다루어야 한다. 기독교상담의 특성이 반영된 사례개념화는 상담목표수립이나 가계도작성에 있어서도 신앙적, 영적 가계도를 제시할 수 있어야 한다. 사례개념화는 상담자가 내담자의 문제를 이해하는 개념의 구조(틀, 공식, 렌즈)이므로 기독교상담에서는 핵심적인 두 가지 축으로 이해되는 죄와 소망의 구조로 내담자를 볼 수 있어야 한다. 기독교상담의 특성요소로서 죄는 절망의 문제를 의미하는 것이고, 그 죄의 용서와 아울러 하나님이 자신과 함께 하심으로 인해 절망의 상황에서 벗어나 긍정적 미래 인식(구원 및 천국 등)을 갖는 것이 소망이며 성장이므로 적어도 이 둘이 반영된 상담은 가장 기본적인 최소한의 기독교상담이라고 연구자는 강조했다. This research is to clarify counseling case conceptualization including counselor education, counseling supervision for a supervisee in the peculiarity of Christian counseling. In terms of the case conceptualization of Christian counseling, a counselor should deal with the ‘means of grace’ as a Christian resource. Not only secular counseling but also Christian counseling, case conceptualization is a very important counseling work There are three kinds of functions in counseling case conceptualization: (1) to understand on the counseling case (2) to explain on the case and (3) to educate/guide a supervisee. Christian counseling is that these three functions should reflect in its case conceptualization. There are many essential elements in case conceptualization. There is, however, absolutely no unified style, essential elements, and pattern in it. Although there is an unified style and pattern, case conceptualization that based on the own counseling theories will be made. Christian counseling may accept or apply essential elements of case conceptualization in which general counseling has been emphasized. A counselor, however, should deal with a religious/spiritual resources as the elements of Christian faith. For example, when a Christian counselor makes the family diagram(genogram) of a client, the counselor should draw religious/spiritual and Christian resources on it. The case conceptualization is an structure(frame, formulation, and lens) in order to understand a client's to problems. Accordingly, Christian counseling should view a client's case through transgression and hope. Also, when a Christian counselor approaches to treatment of a client's problem, he/she shall deal with a clients' transgression and hope. The transgression means hopelessness, and hope signifies the cognition of positive future(salvation, the hope on the Kingdom of heaven). Dealing with transgression and hope in Christian counseling is a minimal Christian counseling. Furthermore, future research ought to study not only Christian essential elements of case conceptualization, but also general Christian case conceptualization.

기독교상담에 대한 기독교 상담자들의 인식유형 연구

본 연구는 Q방법론을 사용하여 기독교상담에 대해 한국의 기독교 상담자들이 지니고 있는 주관적 인식유형을 파악하여, 각 인식유형의 특징을 탐색적으로 밝히고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 총 4개의 유형이 의미 있는 유형으로 발견되었다. 첫째로, “하나님과의 관계 중심 인식” 유형은 기독교상담에서 내담자와 하나님의 관계를 중요하게 생각하며, 상담자의 전문성이나 기독교와 상담학의 통합보다도 성령님과 함께하는 활동을 강조하는 특징이 있음이 나타났다. 둘째로, “하나님의 관점과 성화 중심 인식” 유형은 기독교상담에서 내담자가 하나님의 관점을 갖고, 성화의 과정을 걷도록 함이 강조되며, 일반상담 기술의 사용에 대하여서는 부정적인 입장을 갖고 있음이 나타났다. 셋째로, “기독교적 세계관에 근거한 통합 중심 인식” 유형은 기독교상담에서 기독교적 세계관을 중심으로 한 기독교와 상담학의 통합을 강조했으며, 마지막으로 “전인적 회복을 위한 상담학의 통합 중심 인식” 유형은 상담자가 지닌, 기독교적 세계관으로 내담자를 해석하려는 태도를 조심할 것을 강조하며, 내담자의 전인적 회복을 위하여 상담학과의 통합을 강조함이 나타났다. This study aims to identify the types of the subjective perceptions about Christian counseling among Korean Christian counselors base on Q–methodology. In this study, 4 types of perception were identified. The first type, named “focused on the relationship with God,” emphasizes the client’s relationship with God in the Christian counseling. The second perception type was named as “focused on the perspective of God and sanctification” and it emphasizes to make the client has God’s perspective and be sanctified. The third type, named “focus on the integration which is based on the Christian worldview,” especially emphasizes the integration of Christianity and counseling and Christian worldview. The last type was named as “focus on the integration which is for the recovery of holistic being.” They beware the counselor’s attitude to interpret the clients with Christian worldview and to have stereotype to the client.

기독교상담과 정신의학: 약물치료에 대한 기독교상담적 제안

Clients in counseling often consider taking psychiatric medication due to their severe conditions, and thus expect their counselors to provide some opinions regarding taking medication. This situation is not foreign to Christian counselors because Christians also experiencing suffering and pain, which likely cause them to turn to a medication option. This situation indicates that Christian counselors need to be ready to help their clients. The purpose of this study is to provide some suggestions regarding Christian counseling approach to psychiatric medication. To achieve this purpose, the article first provides a brief summary on the complexity of brain and how the psychiatric drugs work, which show the ambiguity of psychiatry in relation to its diagnosis and drug treatments. By providing some Christian positions on medication, the article tries to offer a balanced approach: accepting benefit of medication but being cautious on drug dependence. Following this approach, the article provides four suggestions: understanding strength of counseling, timely referral to a psychiatrist after initial meeting or before ending counseling, and Christian message on suffering. The article concludes by providing some practical suggestions for Christian counselors; they need to attend educational seminars on medication and supervision meetings directed by a psychiatrist or an expert. 약물치료에 관심이 있거나 약물 치료 중에 있는 내담자들은 그들의 상담자들에게 약물치료에 관한 의견을 듣고 싶어 한다. 이에 대해 기독교상담자는 약물치료와 신앙적 관점에 대한 균형적 관점을 갖고 내담자에게 지혜로운 접근을 해야 한다. 이 논문은 기독교상담자가 상담현장에서 쉽게 접할 수 있는 향정신성 약물치료에 어떻게 접근해야 하는지를 기독교적 관점으로 고찰한다. 먼저 이글은 약물치료와 관련된 뇌신경의 복잡성과 약물치료의 작용 기제를 간단히 설명한 후 약물치료에 접근하기 위해 기독교 상담자는 균형 잡힌 관점을 가져야 함을 지적한다. 구체적인 기독교상담자의 입장으로, 본 논문은 약물치료와의 관계에서 상담의 장점 이해, 상담초기의 정신과 진단의 치료의 의뢰, 내담자의 약물효과의 모니터링, 그리고 약물사용에 대한 기독교적 관점을 제시한다. 이 네 가지의 접근은 정신의학의 생물학적인 관점만이 아니라, 환경적, 성격적, 영적 영역을 다루는 상담의 정당성과 효과, 정신과 전문의 의뢰가 필요한 증상과 약물의 부작용, 그리고 기독교상담가로서 해야 하는 기독교적 접근에 대한 고찰을 포함한다. 결론 부분에서는 기독교상담자들이 약물치료를 고려하거나 치료 중에 있는 내담자를 더 효과적으로 돕기 위한 현실적인 노력으로 약물치료에 관한 기독교상담자들의 이해를 넓히기 위한 학회 차원의 보수교육의 개설과 참여 그리고 전문가들이 참여하는 슈퍼비전을 제안한다.

기독교상담의 정체성 교육에 관한 연구

본 연구는 상담이론의 종류들을 일반상담과 기독교 상담으로 나누어 살펴보 고, 상담의 주요 요소들과 관계된 전제들을 고찰하여 기독교 상담은 일반상담 과의 종합할 수 없는 근본적인 차이들이 있음을 지적했다. 그리고 계속해서 이 글은 기독교 상담의 정체성을 위해 기독교상담의 기본원리와 기독교상담의 독 특성을 고찰하여 일반상담과 다른 정체성을 기독교상담은 가지고 있다고 제시 했으며, 명확한 정체성을 위해 신학적 체계를 강조했다. 마지막으로 본 연구는 기독교상담의 정체성을 위해 기독교적 관점의 교육과 정체성의 중요성의 교육이 필요함을 역설했다. The main approach of this study is to compare the types of theories, elements and premises in Christian counselling and general counselling in order to point out the fundamental differences that make integration between these two groups impossible to achieve. Moreover, in an attempt to define the identity of Christian counselling, this paper examines the basic principles of Christian counselling and identifies idiosyncracies inherent to Christian counselling. The conclusion reached here is that the identity of Christian counselling, which is clearly built upon a Theological structure, is fundamentally different from that of general counselling. Finally, in order to develop the identity of Christian counselling, this study emphasizes the importance of education from a Christian point of view.

기독교 상담에 대한 이해와 과제

본 연구는 문헌적 고찰을 통하여 기독교 상담에 대한 이해와 과제를 제시하고자 하였다. 기독교 상담의 연구 방법에는 성경 내용 분석, 조사연구 방법, 실험연구 방법, 사례연구 방법 등이 있다. 현재 기독교 상담 연구의 최근 동향으로는 이론적 연구, 조사 연구, 이론 조사연구, 이론 사례 연구, 실험연구, 기타 연구 등이 있다. 기독교 상담의 발전을 위해서 상담 이론들 가운데 대표적으로 개인 심리와 관계심리의 철학적인 배경에 대한 이해의 필요성을 느낄 수 있었다. 기독교 상담의 연구 과제로는 기독교 영성과 인간의 마음과 관련, 사람들의 마음속에 초자연적 세계와 관련을 만드는 특징 등에 대한 과제 제시를 하였다. 또한 기독교 상담의 적용에 있어서 전문적 준비, 기독교 상담의 사회적 활성화와 상담자 관리, 행정적 수립 보완과 예방과 성장과 교육과제도 확립에 대한 과제를 제시하였다. This study is to suggest the matter of an understanding of Christian counseling and a developmental project. Among the ways of the Christian counseling research, there are some analyzing Biblical text, study of research method, of experiment method, of case study, and so on. Current trends of Christian counseling study has theoretical study of Christian counseling research, research, research theory, theory-case studies, case-theory studies, experiment study, and other types of researches. For the development of Christian counseling, the necessity and understanding of the philosophical background concerning with personal and relationship psychology are representative among the counseling theories. An study issue on Christian counseling is suggested with regard of both christian spirituality, human mind and characteristics forming supernatural world in mind. Also, on the part of application of Christian counseling, we suggest that it would be need not only the well-preparation on it and management of consultant as well as societal activation of Christian counseling, but also some supplementary of administrational structure and educational system built on it.

기독교상담자의 정체성 : 영적 자질을 중심으로

기독교상담에 대한 관심과 학문적 발전은 이 분야의 저변 확대를 이루었다. 그러나 현실적으로는 일반상담과의 차별성이나 독특성을 찾기 어려운 실정이어서, 정체성의 혼란이 초래되고 있다. 이러한 상황은 곧 기독교상담자의 정체성 혼란으로 연결되기 때문에, 기독교상담 정체성 요인으로서의 기독교상담자에 대한 논의가 필요한 시점이다. 이에 본 연구는 기독교상담자의 영적 자질에 대해 고찰하고, 영적 자질 향상을 위한 과제를 제시하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구의 전개는 먼저 기독교상담의 정의와 목표 및 특성을 살피고, 이를 근거로 기독교상담자에 대한 보다 깊은 이해를 제공함으로써 영적 자질이 정체성 형성의 핵심 요인임을 통찰하였다. 영적 자질 향상을 위해서는 첫째, 학회 차원의 과제로서 커리큘럼 편성과 필수 교육과정으로 기독교세계관 배정, 슈퍼비전에서 영성 문제 다루기를 제안하였다. 둘째, 상담자 개인 차원의 과제로 철저한 개인 훈련과 기독교자원 활용, 상담 장면에서 내담자에게 복음을 제시하기 위한 효과적인 방안 모색 및 실천을 강조하였다. 그리고 구체적인 방법에 대한 면밀한 검토와 적극적 논의를 제안하였다. 본 연구는 기독교상담자들이 참된 정체성을 확립하고, 기독교상담을 통하여 이 땅에 하나님 나라를 확장하는 사명을 감당하는 데 기여할 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study is to examine spiritual qualities as identity factors of Christian counselors and to suggest tasks for improvement of spiritual qualities. The study first explored the definitions, goals, and characteristics of Christian counseling, which are differentiated from general counseling, and provided a deeper understanding of Christian counselors based on this, and it was insighted that spiritual qualities could be a key factor in the formation of identity. In order to improve the spiritual qualities of Christian counselors, first, I proposed to organize curriculum as an academic society level task, to assign Christian world view to essential curriculum, and to deal spirituality problem in supervision. second, the counselors emphasized the effective use of personal training and Christian resources as an individual task, and an effective plan for presenting the gospel to the client in the counseling scene. and I suggested a close examination of the concrete method and an active discussion. In order to improve the spiritual qualities of Christian counselors, first, I proposed curriculum as an academic society level assignment, Christian world view assignment as essential curriculum, and spirituality problem in supervision. Christian counselors will be able to contribute to fulfilling the mission of establishing true identity and expanding the kingdom of God on earth through Christian counseling.

기독교상담자의 정체성과 딜레마에 관한 내러티브 탐구

본 연구는 기독교상담자가 경험하는 정체성과 딜레마에 관한 질적 연구로, 기독교상담자를 위한 전략적 지원과 정책 수립에 대안을 마련하려는 목적을 가지고 있다. 이를 위하여 10년 이상의 기독교 신앙을 가지고 있고, 기독교상담대학원에서 석사 이상을 취득하였으며, 현재 현장에서 기독교상담을 3년 이상 진행하고 있는 기독교상담자 20명을 대상으로 내러티브 탐구를 진행한 자료를 질적 분석 프로그램인 NVivo11을 활용하여 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 구체적으로 정체성과 딜레마에 대한 연구는 각각 학문적, 실제적, 개인적 영역의 세 가지 관점에서 논의되고 있는데, 먼저 정체성과 관련해서는 첫째, 기독교상담의 전문성 확보의 요구, 둘째, 기독교상담 현장의 확대 필요성, 셋째, 기독교상담자의 개인적 정체성 정립에 대한 논의 등을 경험하고 있으며, 다음 딜레마와 관련해서는 첫째, 초기의 딜레마를 극복하고 신앙과 상담의 통합을 시도, 둘째, 개인적, 학문적, 임상적 영역에서 딜레마 경험, 셋째, 기독교상담에 대한 타인의 인식에 의해 부정적 정체성이 형성되고 딜레마를 경험하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 기독교상담자의 정체성과 딜레마를 이해하기 위한 기초자료와 기독교상담자의 지원을 위한 구체적인 정보를 제공했다는 점에 그 의의가 있다. This study is a qualitative inquiry into the identity and dilemmas that christian counselors usually go through and its purpose is to prepare alternatives for the strategic assistance and policy making for the sake of christian counselors. For this, narrative inquiry has been conducted on 20 christian counselors who have a faith for over 10 years and more than master’s degree at christian counseling with over 3 years of field experience. The results analyzed using a qualitative analysis software NVivo11 are as follows. In details, the inquiry into the identity and dilemma is discussed in three points of view, respectively: an academic, practical and personal area. In relation to the identity, the first is demands for the secure professionalism in christian counseling. The second is more opportunities for it. The third is the discussion for the establishment of personal identity of christian counselors. In relation to dilemma, firstly christian counselors are trying to combine faith and counseling after they have overcome many dilemmas in the early stage of counseling. Secondly, they experience dilemmas in the same three areas. Finally, they experience dilemmas with the establishment of negative identity caused by others’ understanding over the christian counseling. This study provides basic materials to understand their identity and dilemma and also provides detailed information to support them.

에코세대의 미래를 위한 기독교 교육적 상담의 필요성 연구

본 연구의 목적은 입시위주의 교육풍토와 불확실한 취업환경 등 에코세대들을 둘러싼 여러 측면의 사회적 환경이 이들의 건강한 성장발달에 긍정적이지 않은 상황에서, 다가오는 미래사회 환경을 전망해 봄으로써, 오늘의 에코세대들이 올바른 그리스도인으로 행복한 삶을 만드는데 도움을 주고자 하는 필요성에서 시작되었다. 미래는 오늘을 사는 젊은이들의 몫이라고 할 때 틀린 말이 아닐 것이다. 젊은이의 중요성에 대한 의미는 재론할 여지가 없다. 대부분 사람들은 에코세대가 미래이며 장차 이 나라를 이끌 주역으로 여긴다. 그러나 사실 에코세대는 미래를 위해서만 중요한 것이 아니라, 현재에도 중요하다. 에코세대는 개별 가정에서는 물론 교회와 사회적으로도 희망과 기쁨 그리고 활력의 근원으로서 다른 구성원들에게 미래의 꿈을 가지게 한다. 이러한 에코세대의 미래를 위한 기독교 교육적 상담은 오늘을 살고 있는 젊은이들을 그리스도에게로 인도하여 구원을 얻게 하고, 나아가 확실한 영적성장을 할 수 있도록 그리스도의 주권 아래 자신들의 왕성한 젊음의 자원을 보전하여 개발하게 하는 것은 미래를 준비하는 에코세대들에게 가장 중요한 도전이다. 따라서 기독교교육과 상담은 공히 교육과 상담을 통하여 기독교적인 올바른 가치관을 확립하고, 그리스도의 인격을 닮아가는 올바른 관계를 회복하여 그리스도인으로서의 삶을 살아가도록 인도하는 하는 것이다. 그러므로 에코세대의 미래를 위한 기독교 교육적 상담은 하나님이 가르쳐주신 방법으로 문제를 해결하도록 돕는 것이다. 즉, 현실에 당면해 있는 문제들과 미래를 준비하는 것을 포함한다. 이러한 연구의 목적에 따라서 먼저 오늘을 살고 있는 젊은이들의 삶의 현실과 기독교 교육적 상담의 목적, 필요성 그리고 기독교교육과 상담의 관계를 살펴볼 것이다. 그 다음에 에코세대들이 지혜로운 결정을 하도록 도와주기 위하여 누가, 왜, 어떻게, 무엇을 상담을 해야 하는지를 고찰할 것이다. 이러한 연구는 에코세대들이 그리스도 안에서 올바른 영적인 성장을 하게 되고, 미래를 준비하고, 미래를 살아가는 삶의 의미와 목적을 찾는 기독교적 정체성을 형성하는데 중요한 의미를 갖는다고 할 수 있다. The purpose of this study is to examine ways to assist the Eco Generation create happy lives as proper Christians. This is necessary for young people today who, surrounded by a society where the education climate is college entrance driven, career prospects are uncertain and are faced with an environment that proscribe positive healthy growth and development, are in preparations for the quickly approaching future where the outlooks do not look favorable. The most important challenge for the youth of today in the Eco Generation in preparing for the future is to conserve and develop resources of unblemished youth while under Christ’s sovereignty as they are guided to Christ through Christian education counselling, receive salvation and achieve genuine spiritual growth. Accordingly, counselling in Christian education in regards to the future for the Eco Generation is in helping to find solutions to problems through the teachings of God. In other words, it involves the problems that are currently being faced as well as for preparation for the future Therefore, for the purposes of this study, the realities of the lives of young people living today need to be examined, as well as the aim and necessity of Christian education and counselling. Furthermore, the relationship between Christian education and counselling will be examined. Thereafter, to help the Eco Generation make wise choices, the issues of the what, how, why and who of how counselling should be undertaken will be considered. This study will have important implications on the proper spiritual growth in Christ of young people of the Eco Generation and in their preparation and search to find meaning and goals for their lives while establishing a Christian identity.

기독교 상담 관점으로 바라본 Bowen 가족체계이론의 비평

본 연구는 기독교 상담에서 Bowen 가족상담의 유용한 이론과 치료기법을 활용하기 위해 기독교 상담 관점으로의 통합을 시도하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 기독교 상담과 Bowen 가족체계이론의 이론적 배경의 차이를 기독교 초자연주의와 자연주의로 살펴봄으로써 Bowen 이론의 이론적 배경의 한계를 드러냈다. 기독교 초자연주의 관점에서 볼 때, Bowen 가족체계이론의 자연주의는 자연법칙에 따라 세계가 자정적으로 서로 맞물려 움직이고 자체적으로 설명될 수 있다고 주장하나 인간의 ‘추론 행위’, ‘도덕적 판단 행위’, ‘삶의 의미를 묻는 실존적 질문’에 대해서는 인과적이고 논리적으로 설명할 수 없는 한계를 보였다. 또한 Bowen의 이론의 주요 개념을 기독교 상담에 활용하기 위해 재해석 및 새로운 통합을 시도하였다. 기독교 상담 관점에서 볼 때, Bowen 이론의 핵심 개념인 정서적-관계체계와 지적체계는 결국 인간 자신의 생존과 건강이라는 자기-중심성에 목적이 있음을 드러냈다. Bowen 이론이 간과한 영적 존재로서 인간이 하나님과 가족(이웃)과의 관계에서 온전한 개별성과 연합성을 이루는 영적-관계체계로 확장시키는 변형을 시도하였다. 이에 대해 Bowen의 가계도와 삼각관계를 기독교 상담으로 통합하여 영적 가계도와 영적-관계체계로 확장한 삼각관계를 설명하였다. 본 연구의 시사점은 기독교 상담과 Bowen의 가족체계이론의 근본적인 이론적 배경의 차이점과 함께 Bowen의 이론에 대한 실제적인 비판과 기독교 상담으로의 적용 가능성까지 살펴본 점이다. This study aims to utilize Bowen's Family Theory by integrating with the perspective of Christian counseling. In this study, the difference between Christian counseling and Bowen's theory was examined as Christian super-naturalism and naturalism. The basis of naturalism theory explains that the universe operates itself according to the law of nature but it is not able to logically explain human's ability to reason, ethically judge, and answer existential questions regarding the meaning of life. Furthermore, this study aims to reinterpret and integrate the key concepts of Bowen's family system theory. There is limitation in applying Bowen's main concepts, emotional-relational system and intellectual system, into Christian counseling because both systems eventually aim to achieve one's own survival and health. Therefore, the present study suggests to broaden the system into a spiritual-relational system by examining one’s spiritual genogram and using the triangulation based on spiritual-relational system.
