      • 강화 갯벌 생태관광 개발에 관한 연구

        Eco-tourism has been considered as an alternative tourism to avoid the problems caused by mass tourism. Among the various parts of the Eco-tourism, there has been rapidly increasing interests and demands of the Tidal Flat Eco-tourism recently. The purpose of this study is to find out problems regarding the tidal flat region(TFR) tourism and to suggest the alternative ways of activating the TFR in Korea. This study is focused on the eco-tourists who are the visitors of Kanghwa TFR. For the study, I surveyed the visitors of TFR on the following items : disposition, favorite activity, and degree of satisfaction. Based on the results from the survey, I analyzed the relationship between above items. The survey was made by 300 tourists who visited Janghwa-ri TFR and Dongmak-ri swimming beach located in Hwado-mueon, Kanghwa-keun, Incheon-city, from Jul. 20 to Aug. 5, 2001. Among those 300 survey sheets, 257 sheets were taken and conducted in the positive analysis. For the purpose of statistical analysis, 'SPSS for Window Version 8.0' was used. More specifically, the statistical techniques used in the analysis were frequency analysis, factor analysis and Canonical correlation analysis. As the result of the factor analysis, the dispositions of Eco-tourists are classified as five factors as followings : (ⅰ) pursuit of adventure-tour experience, (ⅱ) consideration for nature & environment, (ⅲ) desire to learn about the ecosystem, (ⅳ) pursuit of the meditation on the nature, (ⅴ) disposition of enduring difficulties while traveling. Also four factors in the favorite activity of Eco-tourists are classified as followings : (ⅰ) activity of learning about the flat tidal, (ⅱ) participation in the flat tidal event, (ⅲ) experience of the culture & nature, (ⅳ) pursuit of beautiful face & health. Based on the study results, the general activating ways for the flat tidal eco-tourism are suggested as followings : First, the TFR developers should develop various flat tidal events including flat tidal activity, and should build the center or place with sports facilities for learning the ocean recreation and sports. Second, in the TFR, the developers should build up the great flat tidal exhibition complex as the national tourist resort for research and tourism. Third, nature and environment should be in great consideration while developing regions around the TFR. Fourth, plans for building the complementary facilities in the TFR should be made out under the mutual agreement between the provincial government and the local residents. In addition, the facilities should be able to provide convenience to the tourists. The Tourism Development gives destroy to the nature and environment whatever the developers devote themselves to protect the nature and environment with great care. Therefore, above all, we should consider the nature and ecosystem before calculating profits and losses of an individual or a nation, and we should emphasize on creating the healthy tourism culture that the human and nature can co-exist.

      • 관광객의 쇼핑가치 지각이 쇼핑만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        The objectives of this study were 1) to examine the relationship between shopping value and shopping satisfaction.; 2) to examine the relationship between store type and shopping value. Self-administrated questionnaire was used to collect the data for this study after reviewing previous studies and conducting pre-test twice. The data was analyzed by using analysis, Multiple regression, T-test. The followings are the results of this study, First, There were significant relationships between Tourists' Shopping value and Shopping satisfaction. Second, Store type were significant differences according to Tourists' Shopping value. The result of this study will be helpful for the shopping industries which gave needs to establish the marketing strategies.

      • 한국·홍콩·싱가폴 호텔기업의 인터넷웹사이트 비교에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to present more effective ways of using the Internet website for hotel industry in Korea. To achieve the goal of this study attempted to compare Internet website of hotel companies among Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore. The structure of this study is as follows. The first chapter shows the background and the purpose of this study, the second chapter deal with literature review on the general concept of the Internet website and the Internet website as a commercial medium. The third chapter describes Information Flow Model on the Internet website. This is framework for the empirical study classified three stages: the one-way communication stage, the interactive communication stage and the transaction stage, the fourth chapter was delineated the method and the results of the empirical investigation and in the final chapter, it was the overall conclusions of this study. According to the result of this study, Korean hotel companies seems to be using the Internet website as a public relation and customer support tool rather than as a sales tool to create for the actual benefit. To improve a function as a sales tool in Korean hotel companies' Internet website suggestions are: First, to sale hotel gift certificates on the Internet website, second, to develop Internet website considered to offer convenience to customer, finally, to make reliable Internet website, which guarantee secure customer information with expansion of security.

      • 외식업체의 평가속성에 관한 실증 연구 : 국내 레스토랑을 중심으로 Focused on Local Restaurants

        Food-service industry in Korea has been much improved with the advanced environment such as economic development, the change of social structure, and the increase of time spent on leisure activities. In spite of its effort on food-service industry nationwide, restaurant evaluative standards in Korea in terms of consumers satisfaction and needs have been scarcely settled down. For instance, the countries such as U.S.A., France, Hong Kong, and Mexico have built their own restaurant evaluative standards to rate each restaurant periodically. Accordingly, consumers and tourists can find easily and effectively in order to use cuisine most up-to-dated and reliable. From this point of view, comprehensive factors for evaluating restaurant relatively need to be established in Korea as soonest as possible. Ultimately, this will be competitive to improve and develop food-service industry. The purpose of this study is to suggest the evaluative properties for the development of food-service industry, in order to cope with the situation to foreign restaurants nationwide. Whereas restaurant market is getting bigger and the number of restaurant goers is getting higher, local restaurant evaluative rating standards is relatively lacking in study and experiment. Hence, not only study of restaurant evaluative rating standards but also study of evaluation classified by the kinds of cuisines should be continued in the future.

      • 중국관광객 유치확대 방안에 관한 연구

        This study was designed to find a new and as the method to find new areas and ways to promote Chinese tourists' visit to Korea on the basis of the fact-revealing of China economy as a travel market noticed newly in world travel market, and Chinese's general satisfaction to Korea tourism. First, the researcher tried to take into account their satisfaction of visit to Korea according to Chinese tourists' trip purpose, visit frequency, the reason, the information origin, residence time, destination. Second, the researcher took into account the influences of Chinese tourists' trip behaviors and their demographical factors on travel expense in Korea. Third, the researcher looked through their satisfactory factors which have a marked effect on the reasons that Chinese tourists would like to revisit in Korea on sight-seeing. The findings of this study were as follows : First, because cost-of-living index is relatively low in comparison with country's it, they thought that it's too much of an expense to go shopping in Korea. Second, Chinese tourists get into Korea with the reasons other than sight-seeing were generally satisfied with various items such as shopping, resources, and foods when compared with Chinese who visited in Korea on sight-seeing. Third, Chinese tourists visited in Korea for a long time were generally satisfied with various items considering them visited in Korea for a short time. Fourth, in the case that their destination is Korea, they showed the most satisfaction at the aspects of lodging facilities and shopping culture. On the other hand, they were dissatisfied with our country's heavy traffic. Fifth, with regard to their satisfaction of shopping place, they showed more than satisfaction in order of Dong-Dae-Mun Market -> Department store -> other places. Especially, Dong-Dae-Mun Market was their most favorite shopping place. Sixth, Chinese tourists' satisfaction was at the mercy of lodging facilities wholly. In other words, they made much account of various factors such as the facility, the service, the cleanness, the accommodation, and the charges in their satisfaction of lodging facilities during the period of tourism.

      • 호텔의 외식사업부에서 운영하는 레스토랑 선택속성이 고객만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        The Korea food service industry is growing rapidly as disposable income, leisure time and dual-income family is increased in our industrial society. However, recently the business of hotel restaurant is not a good shape because of the hotel's financial difficulty due to the low consumption through the Korea's economic turmoil like the IMF crisis. The business model based upon the hotel food service using the well known hotel brand provides a good opportunity to overcome this kind of problem. The present study has been motivated by such circumstance. The purpose of this study is to analyse customers' choice behavior, who are visiting the Hotel restaurants, and then to establish the appropriate marketing strategy model by difference customer's characteristics. To test a proposed model of this study, survey was conducted by 255 hotel restaurant customer from September 24th till October 20th, 2001. And the collected responses were analyzed by using frequency analysis, description analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA with Duncan multiple range test, multiple regression analysis. The major results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the main customer were distributed between 20s to 30s years young females who have higher education background and finance status with their stable occupations. Secondly, they were usually recommended by their friends and families. Thirdly, selected places were divided by 3 main factors. The primary one was Hotels' convenience and facilities.

      • 旅行社 選擇行動分析에 있어 가치체계의 역할에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to examine the differences of the value factors by demographic characteristics, and the relation of value factors and selection factors of travel Agency. First factor analysis from cluster-sampled of 204 respondents yielded the five value factors: self realization oriented, the happiness oriented, the responsibility oriented, harmony oriented, and the family oriented. Second factor analysis yielded the six selection factors of travel agency: the customer services of employees, the service of travel products, the services of payment ways, compensation & trust services, the reputation & size of the travel agency, and the convenience. Finally, the value factors were found significant differences by the age, and educational background. According to the correlation analysis, the selection factors of travel agency were found correlated with the customer services of employees, the payment ways, and the compensation and trust factors.

      • 도심지역 축제에 대한 참가속성 분석 : 축제상품 제공자를 중심으로

        This study is to survey motivating of stores attending the local festival, to compare motivation with satisfaction of the local festival and to show the problems of the local festival. The purpose of this study is to establish the festival polices and to be a platform of further local festival. The survey was carried out for Oct. 1-31, 2001. Total of 300 questionnairs were distributed to the respondents, and 275 questionnairs were usable and analyzed. The data analysis was done by SPSS/WIN statistical package program. The main findings are as follows, First, the significant difference in selective festival attributes were 'better cultural life of the local residents', 'the effective advertisements', etc 9 attributes. Second, the determined factors were 'negative activity', 'positive activity', 'responsibility', 'advertisement-promotion', 'customer affinity', 'convenient for participation'. Third, several issues concerning improvement are 'remaining as a local festival itself', 'limited parking space', 'heavey traffic', 'many stores attending'.
