In order to investigate what pure scientists perceive with basic technology. there was an inquiry of 39 chemists in 17 universities. To adapt a basic research result to industrialization fruitfully, a researcher, a manager and an enterprise should change their minds about basic technology. moreover with linkages from pure scientists to enterprises and from college of natural science to college of engineering, it is necessary to offer and incentive through ameliorated evaluation system. and also necessary to build DB focused on ultimate industry.
다중매체 데이터베이스 시스템에서 효과적인 데이터 검색에 관한 연구

The data in multimedia database systems are usually large and variable in size and the contents of the media data are binary in nature. So data have been indexed indirectly using related texts such as captions and annotations. But there has been an increasing requirement for accessing the data by content using the information contained in the data. The compressed representations of the data objects are usually called features. In this paper, we propose a method to handle approximate searching by applying the similarity measure to the features based on properties of objects contained in images and on relationships between objects. The images are mapped to points in a mulitidimensional space and are indexed using R*-tree. We implemented this method and perform experiments on a synthetic data base.

Branch 공간에서의 한 기하학적 성질인 Danes의 일반화된 물방울정리들이 본 저자의 순서원리에 의하여 국소볼록공간으로 확장될 수 있음을 보였다. 노름공간에서의 약위상을 포함한 다른 위상에 관한 물방울 성질들도 알아보았다. 노름공간에서의 노름이 물방울 성질을 가질 조건을 다른 위상에 대하여 조사하였다.

이 논문은 순서원리와 Fuzzy집합에서의 부동점이론과의 관계를 밝히는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 먼저 Venugopalan이 정의한 Fuzzy순서집합에서 Zemelo와 Tarski형 부동점정리가 성립하는지 알아보았다. 또 거리공간의 Fuzzy함수에 대하여 순서원리와 Caristi-Kirk형 부동점정리의 관계를 밝혔다.

Synthesis of macrocyclic trienes and intramolecular Diels-Alder trienes, containing the ester on the dienophilic unit, was studied. (E,E)-diene 5b could be prepared in high 89% yield from (E)-vinylstannane TBDPS ether 3b and (E)-vinyl iodide 4b by carrying out Stille coupling employing Pd(CH_3CN)_2Cl_2 as a catalyst and Hu¨nig base as an additive in a 1:1 ixture of THF and DMF. The target macrocyclic triene 10a, a precursor to trannsannular Diels-Alder reaction, could be obtained from 5b through a three-step sequence of reaction: desilylation, esterification with maleic anhydride and lactonization by the Mitsunobu method. Intramolecular Diels-Alder trienes 8c, 8d, 8f were also obtained from E,E-diene 5d.
Solution Properties of Glucomannan(Ⅰ)

Glucomannan isolated from the tuber of Amophophallus Konjac C. Koch. It was washed by methanol and was fractionated into four fractions using methanol as a precipitant. Intrinsic viscosity was determined by Ubbelohde viscometer at 25.4±0.02℃. The fraction of higher molecular weight showed a deviation from linearity in the plot of reduced viscosity against concentration at lower concentrations with comparison to the fraction of lower molecular weight. The viscosity of glucomannan solution was observed by a low shear viscometer. The plot of the logarithm of the zero shear specific viscosity against the logarithm of the concentration of the glucomannan solution showed a inflection point. It was attributed to the commencement of the coil overlap of glucomannan molecules as has been observed for many polysaccharide solutions.
Saccharomyces uvarum의 인산대사 및 체물질 생합성에 미치는 온도의 효과

In order to observe the effect of temperature on phosphate metabolism and the biosynthesis of organic compounds, Saccharomyces uvarum was grown in YM media for 7days at various temperatures(15℃,30℃,45℃). The yeast cells were harvested at certain intervals during the culture and prepared for tracing of contents of inorganic phosphate and organic compounds in the fraction. It is suggested that the increased contents of phosphate in DNA, protein and lipid fractions were due to being transferred inorganic polyphosphate to inorganic phosphate. The content of acid insoluble polyphosphate in cells decreased during cultivation. This result indicates that acid insoluble polyphosphate plays the most important role as phosphate pool. The optimal temperature for cell growth was 30℃. However, cell division was more delayed significantly at higher temperature (45℃) than lower temperature (15℃), it indicates that the activities of enzymes synthesize DNA, RNA and proteins were suppressed at higher temperature.

Subfractions dependent on molecular weight, purified acorn starch, acorn amylose, acorn amylopectin were obtained. Some physical properties like intrinsic viscosity, refreactive index, DSC curves. Rheological properties were studied for each sample. The contents of amylose in acorn starch was 27%. From the value of intrinsic viscosity for subfraction of acorn starch, each molecular weight was distributed in small extent. Refractive index for separated acorn samples was similar with corn samples. The DSC curves of acorn sampls wer endothermic, and onset temperaturers of them were 30~40°C, peak temperatures were 65~75°C, △H were 15-~210(J/g). When intrinsic viscosity measured about acorn starch reagents the moleclular weight of amylopectin was greater than amylose. In the concentrate region, the viscosity of acorn starch, amylose, amylopectin, was decreased with increasing shear rate and temperture, the viscosity of acorn starch, acorn amylose decreased to 55°C then increased but in acorn amylopectin was continuously increased.
On the study of the integrability of a weakly measurable function in a finite measure space

일반적으로, fn이 적분 가능하다고 그 limit function 이 반드시 적분 가능하지 않다는 것은 자명하지만 본 연구에서는 그것을 weakly measurable 한 함수에서 찾아보았다. 즉 유한 측도공간에서 어떤 집합{x*fn : x*∈X*,∥x*∥≤1,n∈N}이 uniformly integrable 한 조건하에서 vitali's convergence theorem을 이용하고 weak*-topology에서 수열의 수렴성을 이용해서 weakly measurable functions의 limit function의 적분성에 대해 고찰해보았다.
