      • Study on Exactly Soluble Nonlinear Damped Oscillatory System under Complex Time-Varying Restoring Force

        비선형감쇄진동은 자연현상, 특히 물리계와 기술과학의 각종 응용계에서 대표적인 연구과제가 되어 있고, 근래 원자핵융합을 궁극적 목표로 하는 플라즈마 연구에 있어서도 반드시 해결해야 하는 과제의 한가지로 남아 있다. 이러한 비선형문제는 Poincare 전후서부터 현재까지 그 해법에 관하여 연구가 계속되어 왔으나, 이러한 연구결과 중에서 실용성이 있는 비교적 우수한 방법은 Lagrange의 착상에 근거한 Krylov-Bogoljubov-Mitropolskiy의 점근해법이 대표적이라고 할 수 있다. 그러나 이 KBM 방법은 조화진동을 근거로 하고 이중 Fourier 급수만을 사용하는 제한성이 있으므로 본 저자는 비선형의 감쇄진동을 출발점으로하고 일반적인 적분변환과 임의의 직교다항식 전개를 도입한 일반화된 점근해법을 연구하였다. 이 방법으로는 점근해를 구할 수 있지만, 비선형문제전반적으로 해석적인 엄밀해는 매우 찾기가 쉽지 않다. 그런데 1978년에 Sawada 와 Osawa 는 Lienard형의 비선형문제에 대하여 엄밀해를 구할 수가 있었다. 이에 본 저자는 Lienard형의 비선형문제보다 더 복잡하고 응용면이 넓은 『시간적으로 변동하는 복소회복력하의 비선형 감쇄진동계의 엄밀해』를 해석적으로 구하였다. 이 연구결과는 플라즈마연구만이 아니라 비선형문제 전반에 걸쳐 광범위하게 응용될 것이다. 또한 이 해석적인 엄밀해를 출발점으로 하여 새로운 고정밀도의 점근해법도 연구될 수 있다.       • Study on the Asymptotic Solutions of Eigenvalue Equation Schrodinger Type in a Collisionless Nonuniform Plasma

        기초물리학적인면 만이 아니라 에너지 직접변환에 관련된 에너지 자원개발 및 원자핵융합의 면에서도 매우 중요한 플라즈마의 연구는 주어진 각종 미분방정식의 해를 구하는 것이 기본적인 출발점이 되어 있다. 특히 플라즈마의 밀도가 비균질적일 때의 비선형 문제는 매우 심각한 것이다. 최근에 Sanuki와 Schmidt는 플라즈마의 밀도가 exp [-(1+tan hχ)]인 경우의 문제를 연구하였으나, 본 연구에서는 보다 실제에 가까운, 복잡한 네 가지 경우의 플라즈마의 밀도에 관련된 문제를 연구하였다. 즉 플라즈마의 이론적. 실험적 연구의 기초가 되는 양자역학적인 Schrodinger형의 플라즈마의 고유방정식을 정확히 유도하고 그 점근해를 구할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 도입한 플라즈마 밀도는 ??, ??, ??, ?? 의 네가지인데 플라즈마의 실제의 물리적 상태에 따라 parameter m 을 적정하게 조정할수 있게 하여 실험적 연구에서나 이론적 연구에서 편리하게 사용할 수 있게 하였다. A uniformly valid asymptotic expansion is obtained for the solution to the Eigenvalue equation of Schrodinger type in a low-pressure collissonless nonuniform plasma with one dimensional density profiles.

        An infra-red absorption which is characteristics to the novolac resin is occurred at 1,000 ??, and this peak is useful for the identification of novolac phenol resin from resolic phenol resin. The relative intensities of infra-red absorption peaks at 813.01 and 751.88 ?? of novolac and resolic phenol resin samples did not show the significant changes for 60 min. at 140℃ and 120℃, but they were changed as a function of heat-treated time from 60 min. thereafter.

        Owing to the development of the modern culture, the physical power of the human being has grown to be weaker and weaker. He has to work sitting on the chair most of his time and he will have his shoulder rounded in future. These poor posture seem not only hurting others feeling but also losing his self-confident. With these postures, his tiredness of the body grows rapidly together with the stress of muscles and the efficiency of the work gradually decreases. With the adjusted gymnastics, we make muscles strong, efficient, and active and make the poor posture into the good one. The good posture lies in establishing the state of harmony between the muscles and bones of the body. From the phisiological and anatomical point of view, it is the ideal and logical posture. The poor posture is chiefly hailed from the unadjusted relation between muscles and bones of the body. The results of this study pointed out the following facts; Following are the X-Ray displays of spinal curvatures after corrective gymnastics. Spinal curvature of Hwang before gym is 15 after gym is 8 Kang before gym is 5 after gym is 2 Kim before gym is 10 after gym is 9 All of these lead to an evaluation that the correction is resulted from the corrective gymnastic.

      • 食品害蟲의 生理·生態學的 調査와 防除

        A total of 30 species of instant foods and confections were purchased from the confectioners, groceries, super-markets and department stores, which were located in 9 representative areas of the 6 districts, and examined both macroscopically and microscopically whether they were containing insects or not. Results obtained are summarized as follows; 1. The pest insects found in the materials were Plodia interpunctella, Ephestica cautella, Sitophilus oryzae and Tenebriodes nauritanicus and the main mite was Ehizolyphus echinopus. A dominant species of them was Plodia interpunctella. 2. Free amino acids, protein nitrogen and lipid were identified and analyzed at each stage of the dominant species. Especially, changes in free amino acids, protein nitrogen concentration and lipids through the course of the physiological cycle form a U-shaped curve when graphed against the his tolysis of larval organs and the histogenesis of adult organs. In view of controlling pest, the U-shaped pattern of physiological activity indicates that control will be the most effective at the time of the most physiological weakness manifested at the 2 day pupal stage. 3. The period when the adult insect was active was during 13 hours from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. and it was considered that their activity was closely related with the luminous intensity of the environment. The number of active insects increased rapidly when it passed 5 p.m., it decreased gradually after the number reached the maximum between 8 and 10 p.m., and it decreased rapidly when it passed 11 p.m. The period when the insect was most active was during 3 hours from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. 4. The migration, the mating and the ovipositing behavior or them occured during the period when the adult insect was active. Also, the peak of appearance of the adult of the former fell on the season from the middle of July to the end of July, and that of the latter was from the end of August to the end of September in general. 5. The packing material used in the experiment was polyethylene which divided the artificial packing material and the mechanical packing material. These two materials have different characteristics, the artificial packng material has a stronger defensive ability against the boring of the insects than the mechanical packing material.

        The operational amplifier, especially the integrated circuit operational amplifier, proves to be an extremely useful active device in the realization of active RC networks. Operational amplifiers have high imput impedance, low out impedance, large open loop gain, and low cost. These qualities of advantage are used in the active filter designs. In this reserch describe serveral realizations and provide design and sensitive eguations. Active filters that used the IC operational amplifier have several characteristics as follows. (1) The IC operational amplifier permits the use of reasonable valued resistors and capaction even at freguencies as low as ?? Hz. (2) The network stages can be designed and tuned independently by the low output impedance of individual stages, with minimal interaction. (3) Active filters have some characteristics of their own and are sufficiently different from passitive filter, so one who uses them will be aware of these difference. (4) Active filters can provide excellent isolation capabilities, that is, a high input impedance range from a few kilo-ohms to serveral thousand mega-ohms and a low output impedance ranging from a few hundred ohms down less than 1 ohm. (5) Unity gain band widths as high as 100 MHz are available in operational amplifiers and permit filter designs in the vicinity of 1 MHz. (6) Frequencies as low as 10 Hz are possible, but filters at these frequencies can be code rather bulky because of capacitor sizes. (7) Active filters can have voltage gain, as much as 40 db in low-frequency, low-Q filters.

      • Changes in Amino Acid Contents during the Metamorphosis of the Fall Webworm, Hyphantria cunea Drury

        흰불나방(Hyphantria cunea Drury)의 變態에 따른 아미노酸을 Firling法(1977)에 의하여 自動아미노酸 分析器(Technicon NC-1 Type A)로 分析.同定.定量하여 形態變化와 比較하였다. 1) 全 變態期를 통하여 分析된 아미노酸은 17種으로 alanine, arginine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid, glycine, histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, proline, serine, threonine, tyrosine, valie 등이다. 2) Tyrosine 과 lysine은 終齡幼蟲과 전용에서 가장 높은 濃度를 나타냈다. 3) Methionine 과 orninthine 은 용기와 成蟲에서 가장 낮은 濃度를 나타냈다. 4) 變態期에 따라 aspartic acid, isoleucinie, leucine, ornithine, phenylalanine, serine, valine 등은 幼蟲器官의 解消와 成蟲器官의 新生에 따른 U字型 生理曲線을 나타내어 蛋白質合成에 따른 아미노酸의 變化를 나타냈다. The concentration of amino acids during the metamorphosis of the fall webworm, Hyphantria cunea Drury were determined a with a Technicon N C-1 Type A Amino Acid Analyzer according to the method of Firling (1977). Healthy specimens were chosen as samples of each developmental stages; the final instar larva, newly molted pupa, pupae, 4, 8, 10 days and newly emerged adult. The components of 17 amino acids in hydrolyzed homogenate of whole body of fall web-worm and the following amino acids alanine, arginine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid, glycine, histidine, isolecucine, leucine, lycine, methionine, phenylalanine, proline, seriene, threonine, tyrosine and valine were clearly analysed. But, methionine and ornithine were very small quantity detected pupal and adult stages. Tyrosine and lysine, which is present in highest concentration in final instar larva and newly molted pupal stages, respectively. The results in Table 1 show that amino acids decrease in concentration as growth in pro-gress. Arginine, glutamic acid and phenylalanine generally decreased in concentration as developmental stages. Hence, changes in aspartic acid, isoleucine, leucine, ornithine, phenylalanine, serine and valine through the course of the physiological cycle form a U-shaped curve when graphed against the histolysis of larval organs and the histogenesis fo adult organs.

      • 미생물 및 동식물에서 분리된 Carboxypeptidase의 이론적 고찰

        No chemical procedure is at present available for the sequential nonenzymatic degradation of a polypeptide chain starting at the C-terminal residue. The enzymatic method using the pancreatic Carboxypeptidase A and B (CPApse A and B) has been used to fill this gap. This method, however, is restricted by the limited specificity of both enzyme. CPAase A removes C-terminal aromatic and aliphatic amino acid with long side chains most rapidly, but glycine and acidic residues only slowly, while lysine, arginine, proline and histidine block the action of the enzyme. The B enzyme exhibits a narrow specificity and cleaves lysine and arginine most rapidly but neutral amino acid only in certain cases with slow rates. Although any of the normal protein amino acid, expect proline, may be cleaved by either enzyme the differences in the rate of hydrolysis vary considerably. CPAase C has been is isolated from the exocarp of citrus fruits, which has a pH optinmum around 5 and seems to be a common constituent of many angiospermous plants. CPAase purified from culture filtrate of micro-organism exhibits too same results.

      • Determination of Nicotine in Tobacco Leaves by Gas Chromatographic Pyrolysis

        가스크로마토그래프에 열분해 연소로를 부착시켜 엽연초를 직접 열분해시킨 다음 가스크로마토그래프의 충진관에 분해가스를 도입하여 분석하는 방법을 사용하여 니코틴을 정량하였다. 이 방법을 사용하므로서 추출하여 정량하는 방법보다 신속 정확하게 정량할 수 있었다. 열분해법에 의하여 정량할 때 시료량, 열분해온도의 범위, 열분해시킬 때 사용하는 타르흡수, 장치 등에 대하여 검토하였다. 그리고 이 방법은 자연물질 중의 휘발성분 정량에도 이용할 수 있음을 알았다. The pyrolyzing technique of the samples was applied to a gas chromatographic analysis of nicotine component in tobacco leaves. A pyrolyzing temperature of natural product components, which is the plateau region of the curve obtained by plotting pyrolysis temperature versus gas chromatogram peak area, was found to be the most suitable temperature. This pyrolyzing temperature range coinsides with the pyrolyzing temperature determined by a thermogravimetric balance method. The optimum conditions for the determination of nicotine in tobacco leaves are as the following: pyrolyzing temperature; 350-550˚C, carrier gas (nitrogen) flow rate; 75 ml/min.,column (182×0.3cm); packed with packing material of liquid phase (SE-30) 10% on Chromosorb (80-100mesh), oven temperature; 150˚C.
