Kinetic studies of nuclsophilic substitution reaction of dabsyl chloride with pyridines have been investigated at 30℃ in a range of methanol-acetonitrile bianary solvent mixtures. The order of magnitude fo reactivity is β-picoline > pyridine > 1.5-N D A > α-picoline to react with dabsyl chloride, especially in case of α-picoline, the reactivity revealed lower than others, it is suggestd that nitrogen atom of pyfidine ring has a steric hinderance by the neightboring methyl group. The value of ρ(-0.96∼4.59) and β(0.36∼0.67) associated with a change of substituent in the nucleophile are large and indicate a realtively advanced bond formation in the transition state. Solvatochraomic correlations were predicted the importance of bond formation transition state, showing a greater contribution of polaritypolarizability (π*) lone paired to hydro-gen bond donar acidity (α). We conclude that the reaction of dabsyl chloride with pyridine proceed via S2 type reaction mechanism, as well as the reaction of dansyl chloride pyridine.
STRUCTURAL STABILITY OF VECTOR FIELDS WITH ORBITAL INVERSE SHADOWING

In this paper, we give a characterization of the structurally stable vector fields via the notion of orbital inverse shadowing. More precisely, it is proved that the $C^1$ interior of the set of $C^1$ vector fields with the orbital inverse shadowing property coincides with the set of structurally stable vector fields. This fact improves the main result obtained by K. Moriyasu et al. in [15].
INVERSE SHADOWING FOR EXPANSIVE FLOWS

We extend the notion of inverse shadowing defined for diffeomorphisms to flows, and show that an expansive flow on a compact manifold with the shadowing property has the inverse shadowing property with respect to the classes of continuous methods. As a corollary we obtain that a hyperbolic flow also has the inverse shadowing property with respect to the classes of continuous methods.

The notions of continuous shadowing and inverse shad-owing for °ows are introduced, and show that an expansive °ow on a compact manifold with the shadowing property has the continu-ous shadowing property. Moreover it is proved that the continuous shadowing property implies the inverse shadowing property.

This paper describes the characteristics of PD patterns and acoustic signal for the possible four states of particles in GIS. For each case of defect, the PD patterns and acoustic signals were measured and analyzed. As a result, the characteristics of the discharge patterns and ultrasonic signals depending for each defect state could be distinguished. Using the discharge patterns and ultrasonic signal waves, the defects in the GIS and the states of the particles can be distinguished.
