        An Optimized MPC Method for Restraining the Midpoint Voltage Fluctuation of 3-Level T-Type Grid-Connected Inverter

        Conventional Finite Control Set Model Predictive Control (FCS-MPC) suffers from large neutral point voltage fluctuation, cumbersome calculation process, as well as high current Total Harmonic Distortions for 3-level T-type grid-tied inverter. An improved FCS-MPC method is proposed in this paper by directly calculating the switch state’s cost function. This method uses the 3-phase switching state Sx to represent the load current i, the DC side neutral point voltage offset ΔUc, the load current prediction value i(k + 1), and establishes a real-time cost function g through 27 switching vectors. In the loop calculation, the switching vector is selected by minimizing the absolute value of the cost function g, and the output switching state is represented by the switching vector. Thus, the inverter can be switched ON or OFF depending on the stat of the next moment. The FCS-MPC of a 3-level T-type grid-tied inverter is also established by simulation, and the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by experimental results.

        SWIPT in MISO Full-Duplex Systems

        This paper investigates a multiuser multiple-input singleoutput(MISO) full-duplex (FD) system for simultaneous wirelessinformation and power transfer (SWIPT), in which a multiantennabase station (BS) simultaneously sends wirelessly informationand power to a set of single-antenna mobile stations (MSs) usingpower splitters (PSs) in the downlink and receives informationin the uplink in FD mode. In particular, we address the joint designof the receive PS ratio and the transmit power at the MSs, andthe beamforming matrix at the BS under signal-to-interferenceplus-noise ratio (SINR) and the harvested power constraints. Usingsemidefinite relaxation (SDR), we obtain the solution to theproblem with imperfect channel state information (CSI) of the selfinterferingchannels. Furthermore, we propose another suboptimalzero-forcing (ZF) based solution by separating the optimizationof the transmit beamforming vector and the PS ratio. Simulationresults are provided to evaluate the performance of the proposedbeamforming designs.

        NEDD4L suppresses PD-L1 expression and enhances anti-tumor immune response in A549 cells

        Background: Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) poses a salient threat to public health. E3 ubiquitin ligase commonly functions as an anti-tumor role. Objective: This study probed the effect of E3 ligase NEDD4L on A549 cells. Methods: NEDD4L expression in NSCLC and its correlation with NSCLC patient's prognosis were predicted and verified. PD-L1 protein level was measured, and the correlation between NEDD4L and PD-L1 was analyzed. The effects of NEDD4L overexpression on the binding of NEDD4L to PD-L1 and ubiquitination level of PD-L1 were examined. Xenograft tumor model was established in mice. The volume and weight of xenograft tumors were recorded. The proportion of CD8+ T cells and contents of IL-2 and INF-γ were detected. Results: NEDD4L expression was downregulated in NSCLC tissues and A549 cells, and correlated with poor prognosis of NSCLC patients. PD-L1 was upregulated in NSCLC and negatively correlated with NEDD4L. Overexpression of NEDD4L upregulated ubiquitination level of PD-L1 and reduced protein level of PD-L1. Overexpression of NEDD4L decreased tumor volume and weight and enhanced proportion of CD8+ T cells and contents of IL-2 and INF-γ. Conclusions: Collectively, overexpression of NEDD4L suppressed PD-L1 protein level through ubiquitination, thereby enhancing anti-tumor immune response and retarding NSCLC progression.
