The power-voltage (P-V) characteristic of a photovoltaic (PV) array is nonlinear and time varying with the change in atmospheric conditions. As a result, the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technique must be applied in PV systems to maximize the generated energy. The incremental conductance (INC) algorithm, one of the MPPT strategies, is widely used for its high tracking accuracy, good adaptability to rapidly changing atmospheric conditions, and easy implementation. This paper presents a modified asymmetrical variable step size INC MPPT method that is based on the asymmetrical feature of the P-V curve. Compared with conventional fixed or variable step size method, the proposed method can effectively improve tracking accuracy and speed. The theoretical foundation and design principle of the proposed approach are validated by the simulation and experimental results.

To construct a linkage map enriched with tapping panel dryness (TPD)-related markers, we firstly utilized rubber tree ESTs associated with TPD to develop intron length polymorphism (ILP) markers. In this study,52 new ILP markers were further developed. Together with the ILP markers previously reported, 102 ILP markers developed from TPD-related ESTs were analyzed within 39 Hevea germplasm in detail. The PCR success rate and polymorphism rate of ILP markers was 97.06 and 61.62 %,respectively. The results based on PCR amplification and sequence analyses provided the evidences on cross-species/genera transferability of rubber tree ILP markers. The average polymorphic information content (PIC) values of 39 Hevea germplasm were about 0.1719, indicating that the genetic base of Hevea germplasm selected in this study was very narrow. Among 39 Hevea germplasm, the PIC value of wild rubber tree accessions was the highest, followed by Hevea species and cultivated rubber tree clones. Based on the similarity coefficient of ILP markers, 39 Hevea germplasm were divided into three groups including cultivated clones, wild accessions and Hevea species, suggesting that the classification was generally related to the characterization of Hevea germplasm. The ILP markers developed in this study further enriches the number of molecular marker in rubber tree, and the ILP markers will have a wide application in DNA fingerprinting, genetic diversity, marker-assisted selection and genetic mapping, etc. Moreover,the ILP markers transferred cross-euphorbiaceae family might be utilized in cassava, castor bean and physic nut.

In the context of Russia's special military operation against Ukraine, the purpose, scope, and final outcome of the China–US trade frictions are highly dynamic, complex, and uncertain. Combining the 4-year trend of US–China trade frictions reveals that the China and United States are in a continuous process of exploring their own dominant decisions, so the evolutionary game is an ideal way to analyze the trend of China–US trade frictions. In the China–US trade frictions game, it is difficult for the other country to make a dominant decision without the participation of other countries or “standing on one's side.” At present, while China and the United States are negotiating, one's absolute energy is to spare no effort to persuade or coerce a third party to “stand on one's side” or not to “stand on one's side.” Therefore, the evolutionary game method, combined with the differential pattern and the group pattern theory, may be a feasible research design for a comprehensive analysis of the purpose of China–US trade frictions, the scope and duration of China–US trade frictions. This research is not only innovative from a theoretical perspective, but the results are also highly predictive and practical.

The nomilin and limonin content in citrus fruitsof different varieties was determined at fruit growth andmaturation stages by HPLC. The results showed that thetwo limonoids can be separated, identified, and quantifiedin citrus fruits within 10 min by the developed method. Themethod exhibited good precision, repeatability, stability,and recovery rate. The content of limonin and nomilin inmost citrus fruits presented an increasing trend initially,and then decreased during fruit growth and maturation; apeak was observed at the young fruit or fruit expansionstage. The dropped fruits also contained some amount oflimonoids, suggesting their industrial application. Thevariation and cluster analyses results revealed that theorange varieties contained the highest amount of limonoidsat the mature stage. The results of this study will enablebetter use of citrus limonoids.
A Novel Low-cost Thin-film Flat Plate Photobioreactor for Microalgae Cultivation

In this study, a novel thin-film flat plate photobioreactor (FPPBR) mounted with baffles and a 61.2 m2 (2,000 L) photobioreactor system based on the FPPBR were developed. The flow of the fluid in the thinfilm photobioreactor was investigated by means of computational fluid dynamics (CFD). The cultivation of Chlorella sp. and Scenedesmus dimorphus in the thin-film FPPBR was carried out outdoors. The results showed that the flow of culture medium in different channels was uniform. In outdoor cultivation, the biomass productivity in the FPPBR with baffles was 25.2% higher than that in the FPPBR without baffles. In the pilot-scale FPPBR system, the maximum area productivity of Scenedesmus dimorphus reached 21.9 g/m2/day. When the service time of the photobioreactor was 1 and 3 years, the capital cost of the photobioreactor was 4.72 and 2.45 $ kgalgae, respectively. The results demonstrated that the thin-film FPPBR was cost effective, and it has the potential to be used for mass cultivation of microalgae.
