A new class of generalized convex programming

Zhaoxiang Yan,Shizheng Li 한국전산응용수학회 2005 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.17 No.1-2

This paper finds a new class of generalized convex function which satisfies the following properties : It’s level set is -convex set; Every feasible Kuhn-Tucker point is a global minimum; If Slater’s constraint qualification holds, then every minimum point is Kuhn-Tucker point; Weak duality and strong duality hold between primal problem and it’s Mond-Weir dual problem

Saddle point and generalized convex duality for multiobjective programming

Zhaoxiang Yan,Shizheng Li 한국전산응용수학회 2004 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.15 No.-

In this paper we consider the dual problems for multiobjec-tive programming with generalized convex functions. We obtain the weakduality and the strong duality. At last,we give an equivalent relationshipbetween saddle point and ecient solution in multiobjective programming.

Calculation of Vehicle Impact Force on Socket Prefabricated Bridge Piers

Yan Han,Zhiming Huang,Zhaoxiang Li 대한토목학회 2023 KSCE Journal of Civil Engineering Vol.27 No.10

The design and evaluation of bridge structural integrity following a collision accident heavily depend on the impact force of the vehicle colliding with the bridge piers. Socket prefabricated piers are commonly used in bridge engineering; however, limited research has been conducted on their impact force. To address this issue, this study employs finite element (FE) simulation to investigate the dynamic force and equivalent static force (ESF) of a vehicle colliding with socket prefabricated bridge columns. The study explores various parameters such as socket connection structural parameters, vehicle condition parameters, and pier parameters. Furthermore, the study evaluates four approaches, including the global average approach, local average approach, peak of the 25 ms moving average approach, and simplified pulse approach, to investigate the ESF. Results show that the impact force of the vehicle is significantly influenced by vehicle factors. Additionally, the socket depth of the pier has a great impact on heavy vehicle impacts. A suitable approach for calculating the ESF of a vehicle impacting socket prefabricated bridge piers was identified, and a corresponding calculation formula was developed. The formula is a function of the vehicle’s mass and velocity and the pier column socket depth, eliminating the need for cumbersome FE analyses.

Quercetin Attenuates Visceral Hypersensitivity and 5-Hydroxytryptamine Availability in Postinflammatory Irritable Bowel Syndrome Rats: Role of Enterochromaffin Cells in the Colon

        Hong-Yan Qin,Kai-hong Zang,Xiao Zuo,Xin-An Wu,Zhaoxiang Bian 한국식품영양과학회 2019 Journal of medicinal food Vol.22 No.7

Intestinal enterochromaffin (EC) cell hyperplasia and increased 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) availability play key roles in the pathogenesis of abdominal hypersensitivity of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). This study aims to study the effect of quercetin on visceral pain and 5-HT availability in postinflammatory IBS (PI-IBS) rats. PI-IBS model rats were administered quercetin by gavage at doses of 5, 10, and 20 mg/kg for 14 days. Compared with normal rats, the visceral pain threshold of PI-IBS rats was markedly decreased and the abdominal motor response to colon distension was markedly increased. The EC cell count and 5-HT level, as well as tryptophan hydroxylase (TPH) protein, were all significantly elevated in PI-IBS rats, while the 5-HT reuptake transporter (serotonin transporter) was reduced. Genes that are responsible for enteroendocrine cell differentiation, that is, Ngn3 and pdx1, were significantly increased in the PI-IBS group. Quercetin treatment markedly elevated the pain threshold pressure and decreased the visceral motor response of PI-IBS animals; and EC cell density and 5-HT level, as well as TPH expression, in the PI-IBS group were all reduced by quercetin. Quercetin treatment also significantly reduced colonic expression of Ngn3 and pdx1 of PI-IBS. Findings from the present study indicated that the analgesic effect of quercetin on PI-IBS may result from reduction of 5-HT availability in the colon, and the regulatory role of quercetin in endocrine progenitors may contribute to reduced EC cells.

Thermosensitive Hydrogel Loaded with Primary Chondrocyte-Derived Exosomes Promotes Cartilage Repair by Regulating Macrophage Polarization in Osteoarthritis

        Sang Xuehan,Zhao Xiuhong,Yan Lianqi,Jin Xing,Wang Xin,Wang Jianjian,Yin Zhenglu,Zhang Yuxin,Meng Zhaoxiang 한국조직공학과 재생의학회 2022 조직공학과 재생의학 Vol.19 No.3

BACKGROUND: Intra-articular injection is a classic strategy for the treatment of early osteoarthritis (OA). However, the local delivery of traditional therapeutic agents has limited benefits for alleviating OA. Exosomes, an important type of extracellular nanovesicle, show great potential for suppressing cartilage destruction in OA to replace drugs and stem cellbased administration. METHODS: In this study, we developed a thermosensitive, injectable hydrogel by in situ crosslinking of Pluronic F-127 and hyaluronic acid, which can be used as a slow-release carrier to durably retain primary chondrocyte-derived exosomes at damaged cartilage sites to effectively magnify their reparative effect. RESULTS: It was found that the hydrogel can sustainedly release exosomes, positively regulate chondrocytes on the proliferation, migration and differentiation, as well as efficiently induce polarization of M1 to M2 macrophages. Intraarticular injection of this exosomes-incorporated hydrogel significantly prevented cartilage destruction by promoting cartilage matrix formation. This strategy also displayed a regenerative immune phenotype characterized by a higher infiltration of CD163? regenerative M2 macrophages over CD86? M1 macrophages in synovial and chondral tissue, with a concomitant reduction in pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-a, IL-1b, and IL-6) and increase in anti-inflammatory cytokine (IL-10) in synovial fluid. CONCLUSION: Our results demonstrated that local sustained-release primary chondrocyte-derived exosomes may relieve OA by promoting the phenotypic transformation of macrophages from M1 to M2, which suggesting a great potential for the application in OA.
