A Multi-objective DCP Model for Bi-Level Resource-Constrained Project Scheduling Problems in Grounding Grid System Project under Hybrid Uncertainty

        Zhe Zhang,Ming Liu,Xiaoyang Zhou,Lu Chen 대한토목학회 2016 KSCE JOURNAL OF CIVIL ENGINEERING Vol.20 No.5

Since more elements are involved in the construction projects, the decision making process of Resource-constrained Project Scheduling Problems (RCPSP) cannot be determined by a manager, but multiple level decision makers. This study focuses on the RCPSP in a practical grounding grid system project in Jin’ An Qiao hydropower station, which consider the hierarchical organization structure and hybrid uncertainty environment simultaneously. In this practical RCPSP, the construction contractor is the Upper Level Decision Maker (ULDM), while the outsourcing partner is the Lower Level Decision Maker (LLDM). Considering the operations difficulties and practical decision making process in the RCPSP, a bi-level multi-objective RCPSP model with bi-random coefficients is developed. To deal with the bi-random variables in the model, the Dependent-Chance Programming (DCP) method is introduced and the equivalent crisp model is derived. Subsequently, motivated by the particular nature of model, Bi-level Global-local-neighbor Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm (BGLN-PSO) is designed to obtain the optimal schedule for grounding grid system project. A practical application is presented to verify the efficiency of proposed bi-level multi-objective RCPSP model and algorithm.

      • Microvibration analysis of a cantilever configured reaction wheel assembly

        Zhang, Zhe,Aglietti, Guglielmo S.,Ren, Weijia,Addari, Daniele Techno-Press 2014 Advances in aircraft and spacecraft science Vol.1 No.4

This article discusses the microvibration analysis of a cantilever configured reaction wheel assembly. Disturbances induced by the reaction wheel assembly were measured using a previously designed platform. Modelling strategies for the effect of damping are presented. Sine-sweep tests are performed and a method is developed to model harmonic excitations based on the corresponding test results. The often ignored broadband noise is modelled by removing spikes identified in the raw signal including a method of identifying spikes from energy variation and band-stop filter design. The validation of the reaction wheel disturbance model with full excitations (harmonics and broadband noise) is presented and flaws due to missing broadband noise in conventional reaction wheel assembly microvibration analysis are discussed.

Applying Rough Random MODM Model to Resource-Constrained Project Scheduling Problem: A Case Study of Pubugou Hydropower Project in China

Zhe Zhang,Jiuping Xu 대한토목학회 2014 KSCE Journal of Civil Engineering Vol.18 No.5

To improve the scheduling efficiency in the Pubugou Hydropower Project, this paper studies the practical resource-constrainedproject scheduling problem with multi-mode (MRCPSP) in its Construction and Decoration Systems. By taking into account theroughness and randomness in the hybrid uncertain environment, a rough random Multiple Objective Decision Making (MODM)model is presented. To deal with the complex uncertainties, the rough random expected value model is used to obtain an equivalentcrisp model. Subsequently, motivated by the particular nature of MODM model, Multiple Objective Particle Swarm Optimization(MOPSO) algorithm is employed to search the Pareto optimal solutions. An practical application to Construction and DecorationSystems in Pubugou Hydropower Project is presented to verify the practicability of the proposed rough random MODM model andthe efficiency of the solution algorithm.

A Novel Stability Criterion of Time-varying delay Fractional-order Financial Systems Based a New Functional Transformation Lemma

        Zhe Zhang,Jing Zhang,Fanyong Cheng,Feng Liu 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2019 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.17 No.4

This paper puts forward a novel stability criterion of all cases of the time-delay fractional-order financialsystems(FFS) including FFS without time delay, FFS with constant time delay and FFS with time-varying delay. This novel stability criterion is mainly based on a new stability judgment method which contains the deductionof Wirtinger inequality, Integral mean value theorem, fractional-order Lyapunov method, and a new functionaltransformation lemma which we deduced. This new functional transformation lemma simplifies the structure ofthe novel stability criterion with fewer constraints. Thus, compared with the previous stability criterion of FFS, thenovel stability criterion of FFS has clearer structure and lower conservatism. Moreover, the novel stability criterionof FFS can also satisfy all fractional-order operators from 0 to 1. Last but not least, some numerical simulationexamples are provided to verify the effectiveness and the benefit of the proposed novel stability criterion of FFS.

A Novel Stability Criteria of a Class Nonlinear Fractional-order HIV-1 System with Multiple Delay

        Zhe Zhang,Jing Zhang,Fanyong Cheng,Feng Liu 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2019 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.17 No.9

This paper mainly deduces a new stability criteria of the fractional-order HIV-1 system with delay on the basis of Wirtinger inequality, fractional-order Lyapunov method and integral mean value theorem. The Wirtinger inequality is rarely applied to stability analysis of fractional-order system. Nevertheless, this paper extends thegeneral form of the Lyapunov-krasovskii function to a novel fractional expression form by applying definitionof Caputo fractional derivative. Via the the integral mean value theorem, fractional-order Lyapunov method and Wirtinger inequality, the novel stability criteria is deduced. It is the integral mean value theorem that reduces the conservatism of the stability criteria. The simulation results show that the proposed criteria can satisfy different fractional-order operators. In addition, it can not only solve the stability problem of fractional-order HIV-1 system with the constant time delay, but also of the fractional-order HIV-1 system with time-varying time delay. Thus, the new stability criteria has generality and universality. So as to verify our theoretical results, many numerical simulations are provided.

      • Low Microsomal Epoxide Hydrolase Expression is Associated with Bladder Carcinogenesis and Recurrence

Zhang, Zhe,Yu, Xiu-Yue,Zhang, Guo-Jun,Guo, Kun-Feng,Kong, Chui-Ze Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2012 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.13 No.2

Microsomal epoxide hydrolase (mEH) plays a significant role in the metabolism of numerous xenobiotics and is associated with several forms of cancer. Here, we investigated the role of mEH expression in bladder carcinogenesis, subsequent progression and recurrence. The expression of mEH was analyzed by Western blot in 50 bladder urothelial carcinoma and 20 normal epithelial tissues. There was a significantly higher mEH expression in the normal epithelium (P<0.05) and mEH expression was lower in high stage than in low stage tumors (P<0.05). Further, immunohistochmistry in 106 bladder urothelial carcinoma demonstrated mEH expression to be negatively correlated with histological grade, pT stage and recurrence (P<0.05). These findings suggest the important role of mEH in bladder carcinogenesis, cancer development and recurrence, providing support for efforts to develop mEH-based gene therapy.

Consumers’ preference for brand prominence in the context of identity-based consumption for self versus for others: The role of self-construal

        Zhang Zhe,Liu Xinyi 한국마케팅과학회 2022 마케팅과학연구 Vol.32 No.4

When consumers undertake identity consumption by consuming products or services, their choice can be influenced not only by the brand but also the brand prominence. In order to investigate the relationship between consumers’ preference and identity-based consumption demand, this study examines consumers’ preference for brand prominence in the context of identity-based consumption for self versus for others based on a comparison and interaction between social groups. The results show that, in the scenario of identity-based consumption for self, when consumers are members of the in-group or the high-level identity salience out-group, selfconstrual has no significant influence on their preference with respect to brand prominence. However, when consumers are in the low-level identity salience out-group, self-construal significantly affects their preference in this regard. In addition, in the scenario of identity-based consumption for others (i.e. gift-giving) when giftgivers and gift-receivers have the same fashion status, the selfconstrual of gift-givers does not affect their preference. However, when gift-givers and gift-receivers have different fashion statuses, the self-construal of gift-givers impacts their preference for brand prominence. Specifically, interdependent self-construal consumers are more inclined to choose products according to gift-receivers’ preference for brand prominence. Theoretical and managerial implications are discussed, along with future research directions.

Pilot Symbol Assisted Weighted Data Fusion Scheme for Uplink Base-Station Cooperation System

( Zhe Zhang ),( Jing Yang ),( Jiankang Zhang ),( Xiaomin Mu ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2015 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.9 No.2

Base Station Cooperation (BSC) has been a promising technique for combating the Inter-Cell Interference (ICI) by exchanging information through a high-speed optical fiber back-haul to increase the diversity gain. In this paper, we propose a novel pilot symbol assisted data fusion scheme for distributed Uplink BSC (UBSC) based on Differential Evolution (DE) algorithm. Furthermore, the proposed scheme exploits the pre-defined pilot symbols as the sample of transmitted symbols to constitute a sub-optimal Weight Calculation (WC) model. To circumvent the non-linear programming problem of the proposed sub-optimal model, DE algorithm is employed for searching the proper fusion weights. Compared with the existing equal weights based soft combining scheme, the proposed scheme can adaptively adjust the fusion weights according to the accuracy of cooperative information, which remains the relatively low computational complexity and back-haul traffic. Performance analysis and simulation results show that, the proposed scheme can significantly improve the system performance with the pilot settings of the existing standards.

      • Axisymmetric vibration analysis of a sandwich porous plate in thermal environment rested on Kerr foundation

Zhe Zhang,Qijian Yang,Cong Jin 국제구조공학회 2022 Steel and Composite Structures, An International J Vol.43 No.5

The main objective of this research work is to investigate the free vibration behavior of annular sandwich plates resting on the Kerr foundation at thermal conditions. This sandwich configuration is composed of two FGM face sheets as coating layer and a porous GPLRC (GPL reinforced composite) core. It is supposed that the GPL nanofillers and the porosity coefficient vary continuously along the core thickness direction. To model closed-cell FG porous material reinforced with GPLs, Halpin-Tsai micromechanical modeling in conjunction with Gaussian-Random field scheme is used, while the Poisson’s ratio and density are computed by the rule of mixtures. Besides, the material properties of two FGM face sheets change continuously through the thickness according to the power-law distribution. To capture fundamental frequencies of the annular sandwich plate resting on the Kerr foundation in a thermal environment, the analysis procedure is with the aid of Reddy’s shear-deformation plate theory based high-order shear deformation plate theory (HSDT) to derive and solve the equations of motion and boundary conditions. The governing equations together with related boundary conditions are discretized using the generalized differential quadrature (GDQ) method in the spatial domain. Numerical results are compared with those published in the literature to examine the accuracy and validity of the present approach. A parametric solution for temperature variation across the thickness of the sandwich plate is employed taking into account the thermal conductivity, the inhomogeneity parameter, and the sandwich schemes. The numerical results indicate the influence of volume fraction index, GPLs volume fraction, porosity coefficient, three independent coefficients of Kerr elastic foundation, and temperature difference on the free vibration behavior of annular sandwich plate. This study provides essential information to engineers seeking innovative ways to promote composite structures in a practical way.

Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ is essential for secretion of ANP induced by prostaglandin D2 in the beating rat atrium

        Zhang, Ying,Li, Xiang,Liu, Li-Ping,Hong, Lan,Liu, Xia,Zhang, Bo,Wu, Cheng-Zhe,Cui, Xun The Korean Society of Pharmacology 2017 The Korean Journal of Physiology & Pharmacology Vol.21 No.3

Prostaglandin $D_2$ ($PGD_2$) may act against myocardial ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury and play an anti-inflammatory role in the heart. Although the effect of $PGD_2$ in regulation of ANP secretion of the atrium was reported, the mechanisms involved are not clearly identified. The aim of the present study was to investigate whether $PGD_2$ can regulate ANP secretion in the isolated perfused beating rat atrium, and its underlying mechanisms. $PGD_2$ (0.1 to $10{\mu}M$) significantly increased atrial ANP secretion concomitantly with positive inotropy in a dose-dependent manner. Effects of $PGD_2$ on atrial ANP secretion and mechanical dynamics were abolished by AH-6809 ($1.0{\mu}M$) and AL-8810 ($1.0{\mu}M$), $PGD_2$ and prostaglandin $F2{\alpha}$ ($PGF2{\alpha}$) receptor antagonists, respectively. Moreover, $PGD_2$ clearly upregulated atrial peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma ($PPAR{\gamma}$) and the $PGD_2$ metabolite 15-deoxy-${\Delta}12$, 14-$PGJ_2$ (15d-$PGJ_2$, $0.1{\mu}M$) dramatically increased atrial ANP secretion. Increased ANP secretions induced by $PGD_2$ and 15d-$PGJ_2$ were completely blocked by the $PPAR{\gamma}$ antagonist GW9662 ($0.1{\mu}M$). PD98059 ($10.0{\mu}M$) and LY294002 ($1.0{\mu}M$), antagonists of mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK)/extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) and phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase (PI3K)/protein kinase B (Akt) signaling, respectively, significantly attenuated the increase of atrial ANP secretion by $PGD_2$. These results indicated that $PGD_2$ stimulated atrial ANP secretion and promoted positive inotropy by activating $PPAR{\gamma}$ in beating rat atria. MAPK/ERK and PI3K/Akt signaling pathways were each partially involved in regulating $PGD_2$-induced atrial ANP secretion.
