      • Research on Drug Retail Surveillance and Management System Concerned with Adverse Drug Reaction

        Drug security is very important to people. The adverse drug reaction events happened several times these years. The drug retail record should be monitored to prevent drug security event occur. There should be a system to monitor the drug stores to find out which one is selling the outdated drugs, or selling the drugs that have no license agreement. When drug security event occurred, the retail information can be used to find out the customer who bought the drug, where and how much the drug left in the drug stores. The solution and measures such as drug recycle or going to hospital should be carried out according to the retail information from the terminal market. This paper brings out a drug retail tracking and tracing solution system. With this system, drug retail information can be real-time obtained. The information supports the decision to solve the adverse drug reaction events.

      • A Novel Evaluation Model on PLM Benefit

        In this paper, we propose a novel PLM benefits evaluation model, including a PLM implementation-effect evaluation model and a PLM selection evaluation model. PLM implementation-effect evaluation model can evaluate PLM benefit from economic and non-economic aspect. PLM selection evaluation model can help an enterprise to find the ideal PLM solution as well as the software product which most meet the business requirement. The paper also introduces the system based on the evaluation model and its application case. The model and the system have been successfully applied in eight Chinese enterprises.

      • Business-Driven Process Fragment Selections in RESTful Business Processes

        Past work showed that runtime adaptability of business processes can be improved by applying Representational State Transfer (REST) to design and implementation of business processes. However, the existing solutions for RESTful business processes (RESTfulBP) were focused on manual selection of process fragments to be composed at runtime. In this paper, we propose solutions that enable semi-automatic selection of process fragment at each decision-making point of RESTfulBP. The new built-in middleware MiniZnMASC can provide user based process fragment advice to knowledge workers in ways that achieve better overall business value while satisfying all existing constraints. In addition, we redesign the architecture of RESTfulBP in order to allow the business-driven decision-making solutions. The solutions are evaluated for feasibility, functional correctness, business benefits, and performance.

        Cloning and Characterization of an Annexin Gene from Cynanchum komarovii that Enhances Tolerance to Drought and Fusarium oxysporum in Transgenic Cotton

        A novel plant annexin, CkANN, was isolated from Cynanchum komarovii. Sequence analysis showed that CkANN contained four conserved exdonexin fold regions, a putative peroxidase heme binding motif and two S3 clusters. Real-time PCR analysis indicated that the CkANN mRNAwas abundant in leaf, flower, root and stem and that its level is highest in leaf and flower. The transcription level of CkANN was increased significantly following stress by salicylic acid (SA), methyl jasmonate (MeJA), abscisic acid (ABA), NaCl, PEG 6000 (polyethylene glycol) and H_2O_2. Over-expression of CkANN in transgenic cotton caused a significant increase in tolerance to drought and led to higher levels of proline and soluble carbohydrates compared to wild-type (WT) plants. In response to drought,the transgenic plants also displayed higher total chlorophyll levels and reduced accumulation of thiobarbituric acidreactive substances (TBARS) compared to WT plants. Furthermore, the transgenic cotton showed enhanced resistance to Fusarium oxysporum via increased total peroxidase activity and induction of the expression of some pathogenesis-related proteins. In conclusion, this study has demonstrated that C. komarovii CkANN is involved in drought tolerance and disease resistance and therefore may contribute significantly to the development of drought- or disease-resistant crops.

      • Improved Multi-objective Genetic Algorithm Based on Parallel Hybrid Evolutionary Theory

        Based on the analysis on the basic principles and characteristics of the existing multi-objective genetic algorithm (MOGA), an improved multi-objective GA with elites maintain is put forward based on non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA). NSGA-II algorithm theory and parallel hybrid evolutionary theory is described in detail. The design principle, process and detailed implementations of the improved MOGA are given. IMNSGA-II algorithm and NSGA-II algorithm are applied to test the performance of the two algorithms for different test function, experiments of example are preformed. Experimental results show that the improved MOGA achieved the optimal between the convergence and diversity.

        TGF-β promotes pericyte-myofibroblast transition in subretinal fibrosis through the Smad2/3 and Akt/mTOR pathways

        Subretinal fibrosis remains a major obstacle to the management of neovascular age-related macular degeneration. Choroidal pericytes were found to be a significant source of subretinal fibrosis, but the underlying mechanisms of pericyte-myofibroblast transition (PMT) remain largely unknown. The goal of this study was to explore the role and potential mechanisms by which PMT contributes to subretinal fibrosis. Choroidal neovascularization (CNV) was induced by laser photocoagulation in transgenic mice with the collagen1α1-green fluorescent protein (Col1α1-GFP) reporter, and recombinant adeno-associated virus 2 (rAAV2)-mediated TGF-β2 (rAAV2-TGF-β2) was administered intravitreally to further induce PMT. Primary mouse choroidal GFP-positive pericytes were treated with TGF-β2 in combination with siRNAs targeting Smad2/3, the Akt inhibitor MK2206 or the mTOR inhibitor rapamycin to examine cell proliferation, migration, and differentiation into myofibroblasts. The involvement of the Akt/mTOR pathway in PMT in subretinal fibrosis was further investigated in vivo. Intraocular TGF-β2 overexpression induced GFP-positive pericyte infiltration and PMT in subretinal fibrosis, which was mimicked in vitro. Knockdown of Smad2/3 or inhibition of Akt/mTOR decreased cell proliferation, PMT and migration in primary mouse pericytes. Combined inhibition of Smad2/3 and mTOR showed synergistic effects on attenuating α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) expression and cell proliferation. In mice with laser-induced CNV, the administration of the Akt/mTOR inhibitors suppressed pericyte proliferation and alleviated the severity of subretinal fibrosis. Our results showed that PMT plays a pivotal role in subretinal fibrosis, which was induced by TGF-β2 through the Smad2/3 and Akt/mTOR pathways. Thus, inhibiting PMT may be a novel strategy for the treatment of subretinal fibrosis.

      • A Vibration Signal Analysis Method based on Enforced De-Noising and Modified EMD

        To deal with the noise from rotating machinery vibration signal and analysis the fault signal, a rotating machinery fault diagnosis method based on enforced de-noising and modified EMD is proposed. Firstly, fault signals were de-noised by the wavelet with enforced threshold in order to filter the noises in the high frequency, and then the EMD method used to decompose the fault signals into a finite number of stationary intrinsic mode function (IMFs), then the linear correlation coefficient between two sets of data is proposed to select the useful IMF. In order to restrain the endpoint effect of EMD, in this paper, the cosine window function is employ to the fault signals, and then the envelope error of the fault signals is controlled at the both endpoints of the vibration signals. Experimental results shows: this proposed method can extract the fault information effectively, with overcoming the drawbacks of EMD well.

        A numerical investigation of seismic performance of large span single-layer latticed domes with semi-rigid joints

        It is still inadequate for investigating the highly nonlinear and complex mechanical behaviors of single-layer latticed domes by only performing a force-based demand-capacity analysis. The energy-based balance method has been largely accepted for assessing the seismic performance of a structure in recent years. The various factors, such as span-to-rise ratio, joint rigidity and damping model, have a remarkable effect on the load-carrying capacity of a single-layer latticed dome. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the maximum load-carrying capacity of a dome under extreme loading conditions. In this paper, a mechanical model for members of the semi-rigidly jointed single-layer latticed domes, which combines fiber section model with semi-rigid connections, is proposed. The static load-carrying capacity and seismic performance on the single-layer latticed domes are evaluated by means of the mechanical model. In these analyses, different geometric parameters, joint rigidities and roof loads are discussed. The buckling behaviors of members and damage distribution of the structure are presented in detail. The sensitivity of dynamic demand parameters of the structures subjected to strong earthquakes to the damping is analyzed. The results are helpful to have a better understanding of the seismic performance of the single-layer latticed domes.

      • Application of the Improved S-Curve Algorithm in the Speed Control of Shuttle Vehicle

        The Smooth of the shuttle vehicle speed control system is the guarantee of the safe operation of the car body, the current shuttle vehicle parking in the start acceleration and deceleration will happen when the shaking phenomenon, It reduces the shuttle car shelf system security and stability. The S-curve to add and subtract in the simplified method is applied to speed regulation system of shuttle car, can reduce the occurrence of this phenomenon. But the S-curve algorithm without considering the bodies weight and load change on the result of speed regulation. In this paper, we improve the S-curve and speed reduction algorithm. Considering the factor of the weight of the vehicle and the load factor, realize the smooth control of shuttle car. This paper introduces the method and principle of the speed control of shuttle car. An improved method for calculating the S curve acceleration and deceleration is presented. And Matlab simulation is carried out. Results of simulation and actual equipment show that the improved algorithm can control the smooth running of the shuttle vehicle.
