        Phase transformation and roasting kinetics of cobalt-rich copper sulfide ore in oxygen atmosphere assisted by sodium sulfate

        The recovery rates of copper (99 %) and cobalt (93 %) could be significantly increased by adding sodiumsulfate in activated roasting of Cobalt-rich copper sulfide (CRCS). The mechanism and kinetic parametersof CRCS roasting with sodium sulfate addition were not clear. Thus, in this study, the thermal roastingkinetics of carrollite (the predominant cobalt occurrence mineral) in CRCS adding Na2SO4 with an airatmosphere was studied in detail by TG-DTG method. The apparent activation energy (E) and preexponentialfactor (A) were obtained via Flynn-Wall-Ozawa method (FWO) and Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose method (KAS) methods, where E values were 113.89 kJmol1 (KAS) and 120.87 kJmol1(FWO). The thermodynamic parameters of the roasting process were evaluated. The model function forthe carrollite reaction was determined via Malek analysis. The mechanism of sodium sulfate additionin CRCS roasting was studied. Results showed that the addition of sodium sulfate in activated roastingcan promote the transformation of carrollite mineral phase. The activation energy value of the oxidationprocess of carrollite decreases. From the kinetic point of view, the addition of sodium sulfate can promotethe activation roasting.

        Endogenous leptin promotes autophagy in EBSS-induced PFCs

        Leptin is an important adipokine and plays a vital role in animals. However, the role of leptin in the autophagic response of pig fibroblast cells (PFCs) has not been fully elucidated. In this study, we investigated the relationship between leptin and autophagy as well as underlying molecular basis. We found that PFCs treated with EBSS could secrete leptin, and the leptin concentration in the supernatant of leptin transgenic PFCs was higher than that of WT PFCs. We found an increase in LC3-II protein level and a decrease in p62 protein level in treated leptin transgenic PFCs compared with treated WT PFCs. Meanwhile, we observed an increase of autophagosomes by transmission electron microscopy and an enhancement of the accumulation of LC3 puncta in the cytoplasm of treated leptin transgenic PFCs, and these effects were further augmented by Baf A1 treatment. Furthermore, we detected the expression levels of 7 autophagy signaling pathway genes and 17 autophagy-related (ATG) genes by q-PCR. We found that between the two types of EBSS-treated cells 3 genes expression pattern were significantly different among the 7 autophagy signaling pathway genes and 8 genes expression pattern were significantly differernt among the ATG genes. These results indicated that leptin may promote autophagy and involving the downregulation of FOXO1 and LMNA genes via an unknown pathway which causes the upregulation of the 4 genes and the downregulation of 4 genes.

        Analytical Performance Modelling of Slotted Surface-Mounted Permanent Magnet Machines with Rotor Eccentricity

        This paper presents an improved subdomain method to predict the magnet field distributions and electromagnetic performance of the surface-mounted permanent magnet (SPM) machines with static or dynamic eccentricity. Conventional subdomain models are either based on the scalar magnet potential to predict the rotor eccentricity effect or dependent on the magnetic vector potential without considering the eccentric rotor. In this paper, both the magnetic vector potential and the perturbation theory are introduced in order to accurately calculate the effect of rotor eccentricity on the open-circuit and armature reaction performance. The calculation results are presented and validated by the corresponding finite-element method (FEM) results.

        UEPF:A blockchain based Uniform Encoding and Parsing Framework in multi-cloud environments

        The emerging of cloud data sharing can create great values, especially in multi-cloud environments. However, “data island” between different cloud service providers (CSPs) has drawn trust problem in data sharing, causing contradictions with the increasing sharing need of cloud data users. And how to ensure the data value for both data owner and data user before sharing, is another challenge limiting massive data sharing in the multi-cloud environments. To solve the problems above, we propose a Uniform Encoding and Parsing Framework (UEPF) with blockchain to support trustworthy and valuable data sharing. We design namespace-based unique identifier pair to support data description corresponding with data in multi-cloud, and build a blockchain-based data encoding protocol to manage the metadata with identifier pair in the blockchain ledger. To share data in multi-cloud, we build a data parsing protocol with smart contract to query and get the sharing cloud data efficiently. We also build identifier updating protocol to satisfy the dynamicity of data, and data check protocol to ensure the validity of data. Theoretical analysis and experiment results show that UEPF is pretty efficient.

        본 연구에서는 철근콘크리트(RC) 건물의 내진성능을 향상시키기 위하여 충전강관 모듈러(Steel Tube-Modular, 이하 ST-Modular) 내진보강법을 제안하였다. ST-Modular 내진보강공법의 내진성능을 평가하기 위하여 반복가력실험을 수행하였다. 제안 내진보강 공법의 내진성능평가를 위해 무보강 실험체(전단기둥 1체, 필로티기둥 1체)와 제안 ST-Modular로 보강된 실험체(전단기둥 1체, 필로티기둥 1체)를 반복가력 실험을 통해 보강 전·후의 내진성능을 비교분석하였다.

      • Analysis of Electromagnetic Immunity Experiment for Field Installation of Intelligent Equipment in Substation

        With the increase of voltage level and more and more secondary devices are located in field, the secondary circuit of substation is in a strong electromagnetic environment. Because the secondary circuit is affected by the interference of switch operations, there are many trip accidents happened in substations without any fault in recently years, which constitutes a serious threat to the power network and harms the safe operation of the electric power system. It is of great theoretical significance and practical value to study the Electromagnetic Compatibility problem of the transformer substations substation secondary circuit. In this paper, the abnormal phenomenon of one 110kV intelligent substation merging unit is described. And the reason of the abnormal phenomenon is analyzed. Firstly, the Electromagnetic Compatibility experiments specified by the IEC61000-4 standard are carried out. Furthermore, to verify the anti–interference performance of the merging unit, the Electromagnetic Compatibility experiments above the standard are carried out. The structure of merging unit is improved until the merging unit operates normally. Secondly, to quantitatively analyze the disturbance strength, the electromagnetic disturbance signal is recorded, and the characteristics of amplitude and time-frequency of the recorded signal are analyzed. Thirdly, the characteristics of the logged signal are compared to the IEC61000-4 standard. Finally, this paper puts forward some suggestions about improving the Electromagnetic Compatibility performance of merging unit.
