        Secure and Fine-grained Electricity Consumption Aggregation Scheme for Smart Grid

        Currently, many of schemes for smart grid data aggregation are based on a one-level gateway (GW) topology. Since the data aggregation granularity in this topology is too single, the control center (CC) is unable to obtain more fine-grained data aggregation results for better monitoring smart grid. To improve this issue, Shen et al. propose an efficient privacy-preserving cube-data aggregation scheme in which the system model consists of two-level GW. However, a risk exists in their scheme that attacker could forge the signature by using leaked signing keys. In this paper, we propose a secure and fine-grained electricity consumption aggregation scheme for smart grid, which employs the homomorphic encryption to implement privacy-preserving aggregation of users’ electricity consumption in the two-level GW smart grid. In our scheme, CC can achieve a flexible electricity regulation by obtaining data aggregation results of various granularities. In addition, our scheme uses the forward-secure signature with backward-secure detection (FSBD) technique to ensure the forward-backward secrecy of the signing keys. Security analysis and experimental results demonstrate that the proposed scheme can achieve forward-backward security of user’s electricity consumption signature. Compared with related schemes, our scheme is more secure and efficient.

        Evaluation and trend of fashion design research: visualization analysis based on CiteSpace

        Fashion or apparel refers to a topic discussed publicly as an indispensable discipline on a day-to-day basis, which has aroused rising attention from academic sessions over the past two decades. However, since the topic of fashion design covers knowledge in extensive ranges and considerable information, scholars have not fully grasped the research feld of fashion design, and the research lacks directional guidance. To gain more insights into the existing research status and fronts in the fashion design feld, this study conducts a quantitative literature analysis. The research of this study is conducted by employing CiteSpace technology to visualize and analyze 1388 articles regarding “fashion design” in the Web of Science (WOS) Core Collection. To be specifc, the visualization and the analysis concentrate on the annual number of articles, author collaboration, institutional collaboration, literature citations, keywords clustering, and research trend evolution of the mentioned articles. As highlighted by this study, the efect of the US and the UK on academic research in fashion design is relatively stronger and extensive. Sustainable fashion refers to the research topic having aroused more attention since 2010, while new research topics over the past few years consist of “wearable fashion”, “transgender fashion” and “medical fashion”. The overall research trend of fashion design is developing as interdisciplinary cross research. This study systematically reviews the relevant literature, classifes the existing research status, research hotspots and frontier trends in the academic feld of “fashion design”, and presents the knowledge map and information of literature for researchers in relevant felds

        Implementation of an Intelligent Grid Computing Architecture for Transient Stability Constrained TTC Evaluation

        An intelligent grid computing architecture is proposed and developed for transient stability constrained total transfer capability evaluation of future smart grid. In the proposed intelligent grid computing architecture, a model of generalized compute nodes with 'able person should do more work' feature is presented and implemented to make full use of each node. A timeout handling strategy called conditional resource preemption is designed to improve the whole system computing performance further. The architecture can intelligently and effectively integrate heterogeneous distributed computing resources around Intranet/Internet and implement the dynamic load balancing. Furthermore, the robustness of the architecture is analyzed and developed as well. The case studies have been carried out on the IEEE New England 39-bus system and a real-sized Chinese power system, and results demonstrate the practicability and effectiveness of the intelligent grid computing architecture.

        Improvement of Fermentation Quality of Rice Straw Silage by Application of a Bacterial Inoculant and Glucose

        The improvement of the fermentation quality of rice straw silage by application of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) and glucose was investigated in this study. Sixteen rice varieties were harvested at the maturity stage and the rice straw was ensiled with LAB inoculant ($1{\times}10^5$ cfu/g of fresh weight) and glucose (2% of fresh weight). Inoculation with LAB improved the fermentation as reflected in reductions in pH, acetic acid (by 3.7 to 78.3%), butyric acid (by -6.0 to 100.0%) and ammonia nitrogen (by 1.0 to 71.7%) concentrations, and increases in lactic acid (by 43.9 to 282.9%) and crude protein concentrations compared with the control. Application of LAB plus glucose was more effective in improving fermentation quality than LAB alone. The variety of rice straw which contained relatively high levels of water soluble carbohydrates (WSC) tended to obtain better fermentation quality. The results suggested that LAB application and selection of rice varieties whose straw contained high levels of WSC were effective in improvement of the fermentation quality of rice straw silage.
