      • Network Security Prediction Method Based on Kalman Filtering Fusion Decision Entropy Theory

Yunfa Li,Mingyi Li,Yangyang Shen 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.10 No.12

Network security situation prediction is of great significance for the use of the Internet, and it is the focus of production and life issues. Under the guidance of the model combination forecasting method, In this paper, based on the Kalman filtering model a new method of network security prediction is presented, which is based on the theory of decision entropy. In this method, the Kalman state equation and measurement equation are constructed according to the key attributes of the network security state, and then combined with the decision entropy theory to predict the future state of network security. The experimental results show that the proposed method has high prediction accuracy and is suitable for the state prediction of network security.

Characterization and profiling of MicroRNAs in posterior silk gland of the silkworm (Bombyx mori)

        Fei Song,Xin Wang,Chen Chen,Yangyang Fan,Shunming Tang,Jinshan Huang,Xijie Guo,Xingjia Shen 한국유전학회 2015 Genes & Genomics Vol.37 No.8

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) regulate expression of genes at post-transcriptional level by binding on complementary sequences of target mRNAs and play multiple roles in biological processes. To investigate the differential expression of miRNAs in posterior silk gland (PSG) of silkworm (Bombyx mori) in different periods and regulation of miRNAs on the expression of fibroin genes, Solexa sequencing technology was used to detect miRNAs in PSGs of fourth-instar day-2 larvae and fifth-instar day-3 larvae, respectively. As a result, 466 previously reported miRNAs, and 35 novel miRNAs were detected, and 499 of these detected miRNAs are predicted to target 13,383 genes by target prediction softwares. Additionally, 29 miRNAs expressed differently between the PSG of fourthinstar day-2 larvae and fifth-instar day-3 larvae were found, and the differential expression of these miRNAs may play an important role in the expression of fibroin genes.

Gene screening and differential expression analysis of microRNAs in the middle silk gland of wild-type and naked pupa mutant silkworms (Bombyx mori)

        Ping Qian,Xin Wang,Tao Jianga,Fei Song,Chen Chen,Yangyang Fan,Xing-jia Shen 한국응용곤충학회 2016 Journal of Asia-Pacific Entomology Vol.19 No.2

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of endogenous, non-coding small RNAs that serve as important posttranscriptional gene expression regulators and play important roles in the silkworm (Bombyx mori) development, growth, and viral immunity. However, information on the diversity of these regulatory RNAs in the middle silk gland (MSG) of naked pupa (Nd) mutant silkworms is limited. In this study, by using Solexa high-throughput sequencing technology, we identified and compared small RNA libraries from the MSG of wild-type silkworm P50(MSG-P50) and the Nd mutant (MSG-Nd), respectively. A total of 272 conserved and 333 novel miRNAs were identified, in which 141 ones showed significantly different expression patterns between MSG-P50 and MSG-Nd, and 10 ones were randomly selected and validated by stem-loop quantitative reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). In addition, potential targets were predicted for differentially expressed miRNAs based on sequence complementation between miRNAs and their target genes. Gene ontology (GO) and the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) annotation revealed miRNAs that actively participate in various life processes and three pathways associated with protein synthesis including endoplasmic reticulum pathway, ribosome pathway, and ribosome biogenesis in eukaryotes, were significantly disrupted in MSG-Nd. This is the first comprehensive description of miRNAs in the silkworm MSG. Overall, the results provide useful information for future studies on miRNAs and suggest that the fibroin synthetic deficiency in the posterior silk gland impairs the sericin secretion process in MSG.

      • Effect of applied electric potential and micro length scale parameters on the electroelastic analysis of three-layered shear deformable micro-shell

Yang Yang,Keyong Shen,Gholamreza Ghasemian Talkhunche,Mohammad Arefi 국제구조공학회 2021 Smart Structures and Systems, An International Jou Vol.28 No.3

This paper uses higher-order shear deformation theory and modified couple stress theory (MCST) to the electroelastic results of FG micro-shell integrated with piezoelectric thin sheets subjected to electrical and mechanical loads rested on Pasternak's foundation. Third-order shear deformation theory (TSDT) is used for the description of the displacement field. Effect of micro-size is applied using MCST with the introduction of one micro-length scale parameter. Governing equations are derived based on the principle of virtual work. Micro-shell is composed of a FG micro core and two piezoelectric hollow shells. The numerical results are obtained for the simply-supported boundary conditions. Longitudinal and radial displacements are presented in terms of important parameters such as applied electric potentials, micro length scale parameter, dimensionless geometric parameters and two parameters of Pasternak's foundation.
