Purpose: While electrolytes and immunity are highlighted as important in terms of the relationship between health and physical activity, immunoglobulin plays such a decisive role in the immune function that defends the human body, and it occurs in multiple tissues, such as the skin, lungs, blood, muscle, etc., affecting an increased risk of infection, including sleep deprivation, mental stress, malnutrition, and weight loss. Hence, this study was conducted to examine the effect of short-term weight loss on body composition and blood electrolyte and immu-noglobulin concentrations among non-excellent and excellent Judo athletes. Method: The subjects of this study were 14 male athletes who were currently active as Judo athletes at uni-versity and had over 5 years of athlete experience and weight loss experience. For the statistical processing of this study, the mean and standard deviation for each item were calculated using the SPSS 12.0 statistical program, and the Two-way repeated ANOVA was performed according to group(non-excellent athlete and excellent ath-lete) and time (before the weight loss, 6 days after the weight loss, immediately after the competition, 30 minutes recovery period), and in the case of an interaction effect, the post-test was conducted by contrast test for each period and paired t-test for each period. Results: The changes in body weight(A), total weight without fat(B), and body fat percentage(C) are demon-strated before and after the weight loss(6 days), immediately after the competition, and 30 minutes in the re-covery period(A). In terms of the change of body weight over time by group(A), both groups significantly de-creased(p<.001) at the weight loss(6 days after) compared to before the weight loss. The changes in Ca(A), Na(B), K(C) and Mg(D) before and after the weight loss(6 days after), immediately after the competition, and 30 minutes of recovery are demonstrated. Comparing the change(A) of Ca between groups by group, both groups signifi-cantly decreased during the reduction period compared to before the weight loss(p<.001). The changes in IgA (A), changes in IgG(B), changes in IgM(C) and changes in IgD(D) are demonstrated before and after the weight loss(6 days), immediately after the competition, and after 30 minutes of recovery. Comparing the change in IgA be-tween the periods by group, there was a significant increase in the excessive weight loss(after 6 days) in the excellent athlete group compared to before the weight loss(p<.001). Conclusion: Weight loss is considered to have a negative impact on performance improvement and affect the pre-match condition and performance. Based on the results of this study, the scientific weight loss methods and appropriate short- and long-term weight loss will serve as the important basic data for further research to im-prove the athletic performance among the athletes of weight class.
Effect of Middle School Students Participation in JUDO TRAINING on Social Development

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to provide basic data that will help expand the base of Judo by analyzing the social process that adolescents who are entering puberty during the period of becoming an adult and are currently attending middle school to train their body by practicing judo. Method: The subject of this study was to extract samples from Judo trainers and non-trainers at middle schools and various schools located across the country using cluster random sampling. Only valid samples were coded in accordance with the coding guidelines, except for responses that were deemed unreliable after the response was retrieved from the completed data. After individually inputting the encoded data into the computer, it was computerized according to the purpose of analysis using the statistical program SPSS Window 20.0 Version. Results: As a result of the difference in Judo Training and sociality of middle school students according to demographic characteristics, the second year was higher than the third year in cooperation according to gender, and the lower rank was higher in cooperation. As a result of the correlation between Judo Training Participation and social development, training period showed a positive correlation with training frequency, and training frequency showed a negative correlation with compliance. As a result of the Participation in training on social development, compliance was found to have a negative effect on intensity, and autonomy was found to have a positive effect on duration. Conclusion: As a result of a comprehensive analysis of the effects of Judo Training in middle school students on sociality, no significant difference was found in the family relationship and the results of comparing the personality characteristics and social differences between trainees and non-trainees according to demographic characteristics. However, in terms of gender, training groups showed significant differences in activity and dominance, unlike non-training groups. Based on these results, it is necessary to develop various programs that can be implemented in Judo gymnasiums for the development of social skills necessary for the growth period.
세포 및 동물모델에서의 알코올에 의해 유발된 간손상에 대한 지구자 추출물의 보호효과

알코올에 의해 유도된 간 손상에 대한 지구자 추출물의 보호효과를 연구하였다. HepG2/2E1 세포에서 알코올로 유도된 ROS 생성과 산화적 손상에 대한 지구자 추출물 보호효과를 확인하였다. C57BL/6마우스를 대조군(NC), 알코올군(ET), 알코올과 지구자 추출물 1 g/㎏ body weight 투여군(ET-HD)으로 나누었다. 5 g/㎏ body weight의 알코올을 1주일간 ET와 ET-HD군에 투여하였다. 알코올 투여는 혈청 alanine amintransferase(ALT), aspartate aminotransferase(AST) 및 alkaline phosphatase(ALP)를 증가시키고, 지구자 추출물은 이러한 간 기능 지표효소의 증가를 억제시켰다. 간조직의 항산화 효소 활성은 알코올 투여에 의해 감소되었고, ET-HD군에서 SOD 및 GST 활성은 ET군과 비교하여 통계적으로 유의하게 높아졌다. GSH 함량은 ET군에서 NC군에 비하여 유의적으로 낮아졌고, ET-HD군에서 ET군과 비교하여 통계적으로 유의하게 높아졌으며, NC군과 유사한 함량을 나타내어 간 보호 효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 지질과산화물 함량은 ET-HD군과 NC군이 유사한 함량을 나타냄으로써 알코올에 의해 유도된 지질과산화물 증가에 의한 간손상으로부터 지구자 추출물의 보호 효과를 보여주었다. 이상의 결과로부터, 지구자 추출물은 세포 및 동물모델에서 알코올로 유도된 간 손상으로부터 항산화 방어 대사의 증가와 지질과산화율의 감소에 의해 간세포 보호 활성을 나타냄을 확인하였다. 이에 지구자 추출물은 알코올성간 손상으로부터 보호 효과를 갖는 소재로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. The hepatoprotective effect of ethanol extract from Hovenia dulcis fruit (HD) against ethanol-induced oxidative damage was investigated. Ethanol-induced reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation and liver damage on HepG2/2E1 cells were protected by 100 ㎍/mL ethanolic extract from HD. Male C57BL/6 mice were divided into 3 groups; control (NC), ethanol (ET), ethanol plus 1 g/㎏ body weight ethanolic extract of HD (ET-HD). The activities of serum alanine amintransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) were significantly increased in ethanol-treated group. However, ET-HD group showed protective effect by lowering serum activities. The ET group markedly decreased the activities of catalase (CAT), superoxide dismutase (SOD), and glutathione-s-transferase (GST) with the reduced level of glutathione (GSH) in liver. On the other hand, ET-HD group increased the activities of SOD and GST, and the level of GSH. Lipid peroxidation level, which was increased after ethanol administration, was significantly reduced in ET-HD group. Based upon these results, it could be assumed that ethanolic extract of HD protected the liver against ethanol-induced oxidative damage by possibly inhibiting the suppression of antioxidant activity and reducing the rate of lipid peroxidation in vitro and in vivo. Therefore, extract of Hovenia dulcis fruit might be used as a protective agent for ethanol-induced hepatic damages.
How can an ISP merge with a CDN?

<P>As delivering contents has become the dominant usage of the Internet, efficient content distribution is one of the hottest research areas in the network community. In future networks, it is anticipated that network entities such as routers will be equipped with in-network storage due to the trend of ever decreasing storage cost. In this article, we propose a novel content delivery architecture called ISP-centric content delivery (iCODE) by which an ISP can provide content delivery services as well. iCODE can provide efficient content delivery services since an ISP can cache contents in routers with storage modules considering traffic engineering and the locality of the content requests. Compared to CDN and P2P systems, iCODE can offer reduced delivery latency by placing the contents closer to end hosts, and incentives to ISPs by reducing inter- ISP traffic and allowing traffic engineering. We also discuss the technical and business issues to realize the iCODE architecture.</P>
