        Purpose: Many university students are under a lot of job-seeking stress because the employment rate is low. This study sought to determine the relationship between job-seeking stress, self esteem, self efficacy and appearance management behavior amongst university students focusing on nursing. Methods: This descriptive correlational study evaluated the relationships between job-seeking stress, self esteem, self efficacy and appearance management behavior of 340 university students was conducted between September 1 and October 5, 2015. Results: The correlational analysis between job-seeking stress, self esteem, self efficacy and appearance management behavior revealed a negative correlation between job-seeking stress, self esteem and self efficacy and a positive correlation between job-seeking stress and appearance management behavior. In addition, age also correlated with self esteem, self efficacy and appearance management behavior. Conclusion: Stress correlated with self esteem and self efficacy and appearance management behavior. Therefore job-seeking stress may be reduced through not only self esteem and self efficacy enhancement programs but also management according to age.

      • 자동차용 실리콘 가속도센서의 개발(Ⅱ)

        자동차의 air-bag 장치에 실용될 수 있는 압저항형 단결정 실리콘 가속도센서 칩을 개발하기 위하여 결정 실리콘 미세구조의 제조방법을 확립하고, 단위공정의 검증을 통하여 일괄공정에 의한 PROTO-TYPE 칩을 만드는 기술을 연구하였다. 단결정 실리콘 미세구조는 선택확산법을 이용하여 정확히 선택된 영역에만 air-gap을 형성하여 미세구조의 측면식각을 방지하는 선택확산법에 의한 실리콘 마이크로머시닝 기술로 제조하였다. 일괄공정을 위한 단위공정확립을 위하여 PROTY-TYPE 8빔 브릿지형 가속도 센서를 제조하였다. 제조된 칩의 가속도에 따른 출력전압은 선형성을 나타내고 있으며, 감도는 약 50 ㎶/V·g로 나타났다. 이 감도는 50G용 가속도센서의 사양을 만족하지 못했다. 이는 공정에 의한 문제라기 보다는 가속도센서의 시뮬레이션에 의해 설계한 구조가 이미 원하는 감도에 못 미친다는 것으로 생각된다. 따라서 2차 공정으로 제조될 가속도센서의 파라미터를 SuperSAP 유한요소 패키지를 이용하여 실리콘 미세구조부의 파라미터에 따른 특성을 시뮬레이션하였다. 설계된 50G용 가속도센서의 mass Pad의 반경 및 빔 길이, 빔 폭, 빔 두께, 그리고 mass의 각 파라미터 값은 700 ㎛, 120 ㎛, 5 ㎛, 1.0 ㎎ 이었다. 반도체 공정기술, 관성질량 제조법 및 선택확산을 이용한 마이크로머시닝을 사용하여 일괄공정으로 8빔 브린지형 가속도센서를 제조하였다. We researched the establishment of the silicon microstructure fabrication technique to develop a piezoresistive type silicon acceleration sensor chip and the technique to make a proto-type chip by the verification of the unit-process. Silicon microstructure is fabricated silicon micro-machining by selective diffusion method. This method prevent a side-etching of microstructure because selective diffused region is only formed an air-gap. We fabricated a proto-type 8-beam bridge-type acceleration sensor to establish the unit-process for the batch-process. The output voltage of the chip represented linearity with acceleration, and the sensitivity was about 50 ㎶/V·g. But this sensitivity dosen't satisfy the requirements of a practical acceleration sensor. The cause of this result is assumed not process problem, but the structure designed by simulation isn't suitable already. Threfore, the characteristics of parameters of the acceleration sensor that will be fabricated by 2nd-process is simulated by SuperSAP finite-element package. The determined parameter values of beam length, beam width, beam thickness, mass, and mass radius are 120 ㎛, 5 ㎛, 1.0 ㎎, and 700 ㎛, respectively. We fabricated 8-beam bridge-type acceleration sensor by batch-process using a semiconductor process technique, proof-mass fabrication method, and micromachinig using selective diffusion.

        Enhanced Strength-Ductility Synergy in Mg-0.5 wt%Ce Alloy by hot Extrusion

        The microstructure and mechanical properties of micro-alloyed Mg-0.5 wt%Ce alloys are investigated systemically in this study. It shows that Mg-Ce binary system is very sensitive to extrusion temperature. On the one hand, the high tensile yield strength (TYS) of 343 MPa was obtained by extrusion at 250 °C mainly due to the combined effects of profuse nano-precipitation phase, grain refinement, texture strengthening and high-density dislocation; On the other hand, the excellent elongation of 30% was acquired by extrusion at 300 °C resulting from the elimination of dislocations as well as the modification of texture.

        Mitochondrial citrate accumulation drives alveolar epithelial cell necroptosis in lipopolysaccharide-induced acute lung injury

        Necroptosis is the major cause of death in alveolar epithelial cells (AECs) during acute lung injury (ALI). Here, we report a previously unrecognized mechanism for necroptosis. We found an accumulation of mitochondrial citrate (citratemt) in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-treated AECs because of the downregulation of Idh3α and citrate carrier (CIC, also known as Slc25a1). shRNA- or inhibitor–mediated inhibition of Idh3α and Slc25a1 induced citratemt accumulation and necroptosis in vitro. Mice with AEC-specific Idh3α and Slc25a1 deficiency exhibited exacerbated lung injury and AEC necroptosis. Interestingly, the overexpression of Idh3α and Slc25a1 decreased citratemt levels and rescued AECs from necroptosis. Mechanistically, citratemt accumulation induced mitochondrial fission and excessive mitophagy in AECs. Furthermore, citratemt directly interacted with FUN14 domain-containing protein 1 (FUNDC1) and promoted the interaction of FUNDC1 with dynamin-related protein 1 (DRP1), leading to excessive mitophagy-mediated necroptosis and thereby initiating and promoting ALI. Importantly, necroptosis induced by citratemt accumulation was inhibited in FUNDC1-knockout AECs. We show that citratemt accumulation is a novel target for protection against ALI involving necroptosis.

        「おぼゆ」「思ほゆ」「思はる」の用法

        A classical verb 「oboyu」in Japanese is a word from changing of「omohoy u」, which is a verb 「omou」connected with a auxiliary verb 「yu」, and a previous form of 「oboyu」.「omoharu」, which was formed from connecting with 「ru」that has the previous form of auxiliary verb 「yu」, has similarity with 「omohoyu」in the character and meaning. In other words,「oboyu」 「omohoyu」「omoharu」can be postulated as words used within the same boundary in their meaning and usage.「oboyu」「omohoyu」「omoharu」are intensively appeared in mainly 『genjimonogatari』among literary works during Heian period of Japan. By the way, the cases that spontaneity is translated as possibility or passivity are found in the process of interpreting scenes.It can be postulated that「omohoyu」「omoharu」have the same use of spontaneity, possibility, and passivity if「oboyu」has the use of spontaneity, possibility, and passivity. Based on these points, each usage of 「omohoyu」「omoharu」 「oboyu」was examined. The following result was found by comparing them. 「oboyu」and 「omohoyu」have little difference for the usage in 『genjimonogatri』but they are in confrontation with each other over spontaneity and passivity. That is, 「omoharu」is used as passivity that is influenced by the movement of characters while 「oboyu」is used as spontaneity that a certain situation or event is naturally realized for its characters. To sum up,「oboyu」 (「omohoyu」) and「omoharu」have a contrasting relation of spontaneity and passivity. 「omoharu」has only role of passivity. That is, it can be interpreted that 「oboyu」「omohoyu」「omoharu」have a complementary relationship and they share their roles.

        Clinical significance of pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasia in resectable pancreatic cancer on survivals

        <P><B>Purpose</B></P><P>Noninvasive precursor lesions for pancreatic adenocarcinoma include pancreatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PanIN), intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm, and mucinous cystic neoplasm. PanIN is often found synchronously adjacent to resected pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) tumors. However, its prognostic significance on outcome after PDAC resection is unknown. The purpose of the current study was to determine if the presence of PanIN has a prognostic or predictive effect on survival after resection for PDAC with curative intent.</P><P><B>Methods</B></P><P>We retrospectively reviewed the clinicopathologic data of patients who underwent pancreatectomy for PDAC from January 2002 to January 2013. Intraductal papillary mucinous lesions and mucinous cystic neoplasms were excluded. All available postoperative imaging and clinical follow-up data were reviewed.</P><P><B>Results</B></P><P>There were 95 patients who underwent pancreatectomy. Tumors were most commonly located in the pancreas head and as such pancreaticoduodenectomy was the most commonly performed operation. The median tumor size was 3.2 cm. An absence of PanIN lesions was identified in 39 patients (41%). Of the patients with PanIN lesions, high-grade PanIN (grade 3) was the most common type (64.3%) followed by grade 2 (28.6%). There was no significant difference in overall survival or disease-free survival between the non-PanIN and PanIN groups.</P><P><B>Conclusion</B></P><P>The presence or absence of PanIN lesions did not affect survival in patients undergoing resection for pancreatic cancer. However, patients with high-grade PanINs tended to have better overall survival. Larger studies with longer follow up are needed to accurately determine its clinical significance.</P>

        Cadmium exposure affects on the expression of metallothionein 2 gene in grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idellus)

        The metallothionein 2 (mt2) genomic gene with 667 bp was cloned from the grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idellus). The structure of mt2 gene was similar with the reported vertebrae mt gene, containing three exons interrupted by two introns. Only one MRE mortify was found in the 50 flanking region at proximal cluster which was quite different from the previous reports. The number of deduced amino acid was 60, characterized by cysteine-rich. The basal levels and the transcriptional responses of mt2 gene in different organs to cadmium (Cd) were measured using the quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR). In the kidney, the constructive level of the mt2 mRNA was the highest, while the lowest expression level was detected in the skin. The induced impacts of Cd on mt2 mRNA expression were various from tissues. In the liver, gill and skin, the gene was quickly induced at 6 h. After a transient suppression, the expression levels of mt2 mRNA were increased in the intestine and spleen at 12 h, and mt2 mRNA expressed upwards in the bone at 24 h. In the kidney and bone, the expressions elevated only after 48 h Cd induction. The inducibility of mt2 gene to Cd demonstrated that it played a significant role during the metal toxicant detoxification in grass carp and the mt2 gene in the liver was most sensitive to Cd induction.

      • Local Music in the Global Digital Field : A Study of Distribution and Popularity of Chinese Music on Youtube

        This study aims at the examination of interactive relationships between globalized “local music” and a “global audience,” on the example of Chinese music as to be found on Youtube. Distribution and popularity patterns of Chinese music videos are studied, as well as their public perception. The study is an attempt of pushing forward the boundaries of both ethnomusicology and internet research in the 21st century digital age. Since systematic research approaches to global audiences from an musicological perspective have been undertaken rarely with regard to internet music, this study can be regarded as an methodological suggestion, which might be taken further and adopted into other contexts.
