A Novel Power Transformer Fault Diagnosis Model Based on Harris-Hawks-Optimization Algorithm Optimized Kernel Extreme Learning Machine

        Han Xiaohui,Ma Shifeng,Shi Zhewen,An Guoqing,Du Zhenbin,Zhao Chunlin 대한전기학회 2022 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.17 No.3

Dissolved gas analysis (DGA) method is widely used to detect the incipient fault of power transformers. This paper presents a novel DGA method for power transformer fault diagnosis based on Harris-Hawks-optimization (HHO) algorithm optimized kernel extreme learning machine (KELM). The non-code ratios of the gases are used as the characterizing vector for the KELM model, and the Harris-Hawks-optimization (HHO) algorithm is introduced to optimize the KELM parameters, which promotes the fault diagnostic performance of KELM. Based on dataset collected from IEC TC 10, the fault diagnosis capability of the proposed method is validated by different characterizing vectors and is compared with conventional KELM and other optimized KELM. Moreover, the generalization ability of the proposed method is confirmed by China DGA data. The results demonstrate that the proposed method is superior to other methods and is more effective and stable for power transformer fault diagnosis with high accuracy.

The enhanced electrical transport properties of Fe3+ doped Cu2SnS3

        Lei Cao,Xueli Du,Xiaohui Guo,Zhihao Yuan 대한금속·재료학회 2021 ELECTRONIC MATERIALS LETTERS Vol.17 No.6

Cu 2 SnS 3 has attracted much attention as a promising environmental-friendly thermoelectric material. In this work, theFe 3+ doped Cu 2 Sn 1- x Fe x S 3 ( x = 0–0.2) compounds were prepared by a facile route of solvothermal synthesis and microwavesintering. Due to the shallow impurity energy level and additional energy states introduced by the d-unfi lled electrons inthe valence band, Fe 3+ doping eff ectively enhanced the electrical transport properties of Cu 2 SnS 3 , and the ultra-high powerfactor of 1.11 mWK −2 m −1 at 700 K is obtained from Cu 2 Sn 0.85 Fe 0.15 S 3 . Although the smaller grain size and the residualpores of the samples prepared by hydrothermal synthesis and microwave sintering effi ciently inhibited the increase of thelattice thermal conductivity, the improvement of electrical transport leads to the increase of electronic thermal conductivityand total thermal conductivity. Therefore, the fi nal result is not satisfactory, and the maximum ZT value is only 0.63, whichis obtained from Cu 2 Sn 0.85 Fe 0.15 S 3 at 700 K.

Evaluation of energy correction algorithm for signals of PET in heavy-ion cancer therapy device

        Niu, Xiaoyang,Yan, Junwei,Wang, Xiaohui,Yang, Haibo,Ke, Lingyun,Chen, Jinda,Du, Chengming,Zhang, Xiuling,Zhao, Chengxin,Kong, Jie,Su, Hong Korean Nuclear Society 2020 Nuclear Engineering and Technology Vol.52 No.1

In order to solve the contradiction between requirements of high sampling rate for acquiring accurate energy information of pulses and large amount of data to be processed timely, the method with an algorithm to correct errors caused by reducing the sampling rate is normally used in front-end read-out system, which is conductive to extract accurate energy information from digitized waveform of pulse. The functions and effects of algorithms, which mainly include polynomial fitting with different fitting times, double exponential function fitting under different sampling modes, and integral area algorithm, are analyzed and evaluated, and some meaningful results is presented in this paper. The algorithm described in the paper has been used preliminarily in a prototype system of Positron Emission Tomography (PET) for heavy-ion cancer therapy facility.

American ginseng significantly reduced the progression of high-fatdiet-enhanced colon carcinogenesis in ApcMin/þmice

        Chunhao Yu,Xiao-Dong Wen,Zhiyu Zhang,Chun-Feng Zhang,Xiaohui Wu,Xin He,Yang Liao,Ningning Wu,Chong-Zhi Wang,Wei Du,Tong-Chuan He,Chun-Su Yuan 고려인삼학회 2015 Journal of Ginseng Research Vol.39 No.3

Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a leading cause of death worldwide. Chronic gut inflammation is recognized as a risk factor for tumor development, including CRC. American ginseng is a very commonly used ginseng species in the West. Methods: A genetically engineered ApcMin/þ mouse model was used in this study. We analyzed the saponin composition of American ginseng used in this project, and evaluated its effects on the progression of high-fat-diet-enhanced CRC carcinogenesis. Results: After oral ginseng administration (10e20 mg/kg/d for up to 32 wk), experimental data showed that, compared with the untreated mice, ginseng very significantly reduced tumor initiation and progression in both the small intestine (including the proximal end, middle end, and distal end) and the colon (all p < 0.01). This tumor number reduction was more obvious in those mice treated with a low dose of ginseng. The tumor multiplicity data were supported by body weight changes and gut tissue histology examinations. In addition, quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction analysis showed that compared with the untreated group, ginseng very significantly reduced the gene expression of inflammatory cytokines, including interleukin-1a (IL-1a), IL-1b, IL-6, tumor necrosis factor-a, granulocyte-colony stimulating factor, and granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor in both the small intestine and the colon (all p < 0.01). Conclusion: Further studies are needed to link our observed effects to the actions of the gut microbiome in converting the parent ginsenosides to bioactive ginseng metabolites. Our data suggest that American ginseng may have potential value in CRC chemoprevention.

Automatic Optical Inspection of Bump Offsets in Flex-on-glass Bonding Using Differential Interference Contrast Imaging

        Guangming Ni,Lin Liu,Jing Zhang,Juanxiu Liu,Xiangzhou Wang,Xiaohui Du,Huimin Yue,Yong Liu 한국정밀공학회 2020 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol.21 No.2

Bump offsets have harmful effects on the quality of flex-on-glass (FOG) bonding in liquid crystal display (LCD) module industry. Here we report a novel automatic optical inspection (AOI) method to achieve fast inspecting FOG bonding bump offsets. Overcoming difficulties to image targets at different depths in light absorption medium when using ultra-short-exposure and high-speed imaging, the proposed method innovatively achieves inspecting FOG bonding bump offsets using differential interference contrast imaging based on spatial Poisson point process approximation. Theoretical analysis proves that the proposed method has high reliability in FOG bonding bump offset AOI inspection. Experimental results show missed detection rate of the inspection algorithm is 0.01%, and false rate is 0.1%, and verify the accuracy and validity of the proposed method, all of which are significant for guiding practice in LCD module industry.
