Myoepithelioma is a rare tumor of salivary gland, accounting for less than 1 percent of all salivary gland tumors. We experienced a case of myoepithelioma of the nose. Microscopic examination showed characteristic pattern of plasmacytoid type of myoepithelioma.

Papillary carcinoma of thyroid has variable morphologic variants preserving the characteristic nuclear features; encapsulated, follicular, encapsulated-follicular, diffuse sclerosing, oxyphilic, tall and columnar cell, cribriform and nodular fasciitis-like types. We report a case of papillary thyroid carcinoma with nodular fasciitis-like stroma in a 40-year old woman who had a thyroid mass. The cut surface of the lesion is white myxoid, and the microscopical findings show papillary carcinoma admixed with nodular fasciitis-like stromal cells.

Intellectual property right security system is thing which establish security right in debtor's intellectual property right security creditor secures own security bond. And in case debtor does not fulfil debt, creditor can receive priority payment security disposing of conversion. Problem about securitize of intellectual property was happened with venture capital at 1990. Venture business is not traditional security asset such as real estate and securities, but superior brain is property. It is not easy that intellectual property right security system evaluates intellectual property. That evaluate value of technique becomes that evaluate inflict mortgage, but much problems remain in case is evaluated by technique itself. That is, there is difference with do practical technology although evaluated inflict mortgage about technology. Value estimation of intellectual property right may have to consist with other intellectual property right may have to consist with other intellectual property right or business equipment. That is, we may have to invent method to offer material things and intellectual property right by mortgage together to evaluate value of intellectual property right. We can think put in good order so that may take current law at real concretely, and real estate security system on American law or Japan's induction of floating charge system. But, intellectual property right can not apply general fundamental of civil law just as it is because urea that is industrial policy enemy is strong. Therefore, present system can not protect rightful person who do not register. We must put in good order registration system degree so that effect of security right may reach to improved intellectual property to protect rightful person who do not register.

Mucinous tumor are cystic tumors with loculus lined with mucin-secreting epithelium constitute approximately 8-10% of primary epithelial ovarian tumors. Of all mucinous neoplasms, 75-85% are benign. It is often reach very large size particularly with the benign counterpart being reported on occasion to have exceed 100 lbs. Malignancy develops in 5-10% of benign mucinous cysts. About 15-20% of neoplasms are bilateral. We experienced a huge ovarian mucinous tumor of 155 ㎏. measured 42 × 30 × 28 ㎝ in size, and the volume of cystic contents was about 10 L in a nulligravida 36-year-old woman. Pathologic diagnosis was moderately differentiated mucinous cystadenocarcinoma of right ovary. So, we presented with a brief review of literatures.

Struma ovarii is a mature cystic teratoma of the ovary. It is an uncommon tumor accounting for 2.7% of all ovarian teratomas and composed totally or in overwhelming proportion of thyroid tissues. When thyroid tissue constitutes more than 50% of the tumor, it is usually called a struma ovarii. Grossly, they are encapsulated, several centimeters in diameter and have a red, shiny, and meaty surface. Microscopically, the tumor is composed of mature thyroid tissue consisting of various sizes, lined by a single layer of columnar or flattened epithelium. The clinical behavior is benign and simple excision is adequate treatment. We have experienced a case of struma ovarii arising from the left ovary. So, we report this case with review of literatures.

Ligand-receptor clustering event is the most important step in leukocyte adhesion and spreading on endothelial cells. Intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) has been shown to enhance leukocyte adhesion, but the molecular event during the process of adhesion is unclear. To visualize the dynamics of ICAM-1 movement during adhesion, we have engineered stable Chinese hamster ovary cell lines expressing ICAM-1 fused to a green fluorescent protein (IC1_GFP/CHO) and examined them under the fluorescence microscopy. The transfection of IC1_GFP alone in these cells was sufficient to support the adhesion of K562 cells that express $\alpha$L$\beta$2 (LFA-1) integrin stimulated by CBR LFA-1/2 mAb. This phenomenon was mediated by ICAM-1-LFA-1 interactions, as an mAb that specifically inhibits ICAM-1-LFA-1 interaction (RRl/l) completely abolished the adhesion of LFA-1* cells to IC1_ GFP/CHO cells. We found that the characteristic of adhesion was followed almost immediately (~10 min) by the rapid accumulation of ICAM-1 on CHO cells at a tight interface between the two cells. Interestingly, ICI_GFP/CHO cells projected plasma membrane and encircled approximately half surface of LFA-1+ cells, as defined by confocal microscopy. This unusual phenomenon was also confirmed on HUVEC after adhesion of LFA-1* cells. Neither cytochalasin D nor 2,3-butanedione 2-monoxime an inhibitor of myosin light chain kinase blocked LFA-1-mediated ICAM-1 clustering, indicating that actin cytoskeleton and myosin-dependent contractility are not necessary for ICAM-1 clustering. Taken together, we suggest that leukocyte adhesion to endothelial cells induces specialized form of ICAM-1 clustering that is distinct from immunological synapse mediated by T cell interaction with antigen presenting cells.

<P>A bacterial strain, designated 4M15<SUP>T</SUP>, was isolated from cotton-waste composts used as mushroom cultivation in South Korea. Properties of this isolate were studied on the basis of physiological and biochemical characteristics, fatty acid profile, isoprenoid quinone, DNA G+C content and phylogenetic position based on 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis. The strain was found to form a distinct phylogenetic lineage related to the family ‘<I>Flexibacteraceae</I>’ within the phylum ‘<I>Bacteroidetes</I>’. No recognized species showed >85 % 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity to strain 4M15<SUP>T</SUP>. The fatty acid profile of strain 4M15<SUP>T</SUP> included C16 : 1<I>ω</I>7<I>c</I>/iso-C15 : 0 2-OH (30·5 %), iso-C15 : 0 (24·2 %), iso-C15 : 0 2-OH/C16 : 1<I>ω</I>7<I>c</I> (15·9), iso-C17 : 0 3-OH (10·5 %) and C16 : 0 (5·6 %). The major isoprenoid quinone was menaquinone MK-7. The DNA G+C content was 33·0 mol%. Cells were Gram-negative, strictly aerobic, rod-shaped, non-motile, catalase-positive, oxidase-positive and flexirubin-positive. The strain hydrolysed aesculin, gelatin, starch and tyrosine. Several phenotypic tests could be used to differentiate strain 4M15<SUP>T</SUP> from other members of the family ‘<I>Flexibacteraceae</I>’. On the basis of the data presented, strain 4M15<SUP>T</SUP> should be assigned to the phylum ‘<I>Bacteroidetes</I>’ as a novel genus and species, for which the name <I>Leadbetterella byssophila</I> gen. nov., sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is 4M15<SUP>T</SUP> (=KACC 11308<SUP>T</SUP>=DSM 17132<SUP>T</SUP>).</P>
