        새로 발굴된 출토문헌으로 본 ≪논어(論語)≫의 “금지긍야분려(今之矜也忿戾)”와 “공호이단(攻乎異端),사해야이(斯害也已)”에 대한 새로운 접근 모색

        20세기 들어 今本 ≪論語≫와 관련된 출토문헌이 계속 발견되고 있다. 이들 주요 출토문헌으로는 敦煌과 吐魯番 지역에서 출토된 唐寫本 ≪論語≫와 河北 定縣의 漢墓에서 출토된 漢代 竹簡 寫本 ≪論語≫를 비롯한 戰國 시기 郭店簡과 上博簡에 흩어져 보이는 ≪論語≫와 관련된 구절 그리고 새로 발견된 북한 평양의 貞柏洞에서 나온 漢代 竹簡 殘本 ≪論語≫와 懸泉의 漢簡 ≪子張≫篇 殘簡 등이 있다. 본문은 이상의 출토문헌과 今本 ≪論語≫의 경문을 이용하여 ≪論語·陽貨≫의 “古之矜也廉, 今之矜也忿戾”의 “忿戾”에 관한 각종 異文 자료들을 비교 검토하면서 “也”의 문법적 기능을 근거로 하여 “今之矜也忿戾” 구절이 당시의 언어 환경에서 정확하게 어떤 의미였는지에 관하여 새로운 접근을 모색하고자 한다. 또한 “攻乎異端, 斯害也已”에 대해서 학계에는 많은 이설이 존재하고, 그 관점의 차이도 아주 커다. 본문은 지금까지의 연구 성과를 토대로 이 구절을 분석해보고 나아가 출토문헌 ≪論語≫의 異文 자료를 활용해 새로운 접근을 시도한다. This paper is based on the contrasting of the different characters in these unearthed documents about the Analects of Confucius with the current version. Secondly, We hope to make full use of the different characters of unearthed documents about the Analects of Confucius. According to the different characters of “fen li” that contrasting the unearthed documents that mentioned above with the current version of the Analects of Confucius about “gu zhi jin ye lian, jin zhi jin ye fen li” in Yang Huo, and the grammatical function of “ye” in the sentence of “Jin zhi jin ye fen li”, We are trying to reinterpret “Jin zhi jin ye fen li” scientifically. With the help of the different characters that contrasting the unearthed documents with the current version of the Analects of Confucius, strive to draw a more reasonable conclusion about “gong hu yi duan si hai ye yi”.

        lncRNA Epigenetic Landscape Analysis Identifies <i>EPIC1</i> as an Oncogenic lncRNA that Interacts with MYC and Promotes Cell-Cycle Progression in Cancer

        <P><B>Summary</B></P> <P>We characterized the epigenetic landscape of genes encoding long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) across 6,475 tumors and 455 cancer cell lines. In stark contrast to the CpG island hypermethylation phenotype in cancer, we observed a recurrent hypomethylation of 1,006 lncRNA genes in cancer, including <I>EPIC1</I> (epigenetically-induced lncRNA1). Overexpression of <I>EPIC1</I> is associated with poor prognosis in luminal B breast cancer patients and enhances tumor growth <I>in vitro</I> and <I>in vivo.</I> Mechanistically, <I>EPIC1</I> promotes cell-cycle progression by interacting with MYC through <I>EPIC1</I>'s 129–283 nt region. <I>EPIC1</I> knockdown reduces the occupancy of MYC to its target genes (e.g., <I>CDKN1A</I>, <I>CCNA2</I>, <I>CDC20</I>, and <I>CDC45</I>).         A Comparative Study on the Insulation Ageing of 10 kV XLPE Cable via Accelerated Electrical Test and Accelerated Water Tree Test

        Medium and high voltage XLPE cables were widely used in urban distribution network. The electric-thermal eff ect of the cable conductor and water in the running environment are two important factors that cause ageing of cable insulating material. In this work, accelerated electrical test (AET) and accelerated water tree test (AWTT) on 10 kV XLPE cable were carried out for 1440 h, 2880 h and 4320 h, respectively. The physicochemical and dielectric properties of both aged and unaged XLPE samples were tested. Physicochemical investigation of Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and X-Ray Diff raction (XRD) show that higher carbonyl groups index, and lower crystallinity of the XLPE insulating materials were generated in AWTT process than that in AET process. The thermal decomposition process of the AWTT XLPE are complicated, presenting a multi-peak phenomenon in the diff erential thermogravimetry (DTG) curve. The insulating strength of the samples after AWTT is monotonically decreased from 23.03 kV to 21.74 kV with ageing time. The dielectric properties show that the permittivity and dielectric loss of AWTT samples increased more severely than that of AET samples, with a new dielectric relaxation peak appearing at around 100 Hz. The combination of physicochemical and dielectric results reveals that AWTT process leads to more serious degradation for XLPE insulating materials. A schematic illustration is given to elucidate the development of micro defects in XLPE during the AET and AWTT processes.

        The genome of the cucumber, Cucumis sativus L.

        Cucumber is an economically important crop as well as a model system for sex determination studies and plant vascular biology. Here we report the draft genome sequence of Cucumis sativus var. sativus L., assembled using a novel combination of traditional Sanger and next-generation Illumina GA sequencing technologies to obtain 72.2-fold genome coverage. The absence of recent whole-genome duplication, along with the presence of few tandem duplications, explains the small number of genes in the cucumber. Our study establishes that five of the cucumber's seven chromosomes arose from fusions of ten ancestral chromosomes after divergence from Cucumis melo. The sequenced cucumber genome affords insight into traits such as its sex expression, disease resistance, biosynthesis of cucurbitacin and 'fresh green' odor. We also identify 686 gene clusters related to phloem function. The cucumber genome provides a valuable resource for developing elite cultivars and for studying the evolution and function of the plant vascular system.

        Long Carbon Fibers Reinforced Rigid Polyurethane Composites: An Investigation In Strength and Toughness

        High-performance polyurethane materials are attracting more and more attention. In this work, a cooperativeimprovement of strength and toughness of rigid polyurethane (RPU) composites was achieved. 1.0 wt% long carbon fibers(LCFs) reinforced RPU composites were prepared and the effects of fiber oxidation treatment were studied. The resultsindicated that the surface roughness and wettability of LCFs were both increased, which could provide better physicalbonding between LCFs and RPU matrix. Moreover, the increasing -OH groups on the fiber surface would react with RPU toform chemical bond. With the strengthened physical and chemical bonds, the interface of LCFs/RPU composites has beeneffectively improved. The mechanical properties showed that compared with pure RPU, the tensile strength, tensile modulus,bending strength, bending modulus, and impact strength of oxidized LCFs/RPU composites were increased by 171.1 %,814.3 %, 29.1 %, 125.8 % and 110.1 %, respectively. Interlaminar shear strength (ILSS) was also increased by 65.1 %. Dynamic thermomechanical analysis (DMA) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) indicated the positive effects of theoxidation treatment on the interfacial bonding between LCFs and RPU matrix.

        Effect of Cu-Coated Short Carbon Fibers on the Mechanical and Electrical Properties of the Epoxy Composites

        In this study, short carbon fiber (SCF)-reinforced epoxy composites were prepared through changing of the fiber content (0.1-0.7 wt%). An electrodeposition process was used to produce Cu-coated SCFs. To investigate the effect of Cu-coated SCFs on the composite mechanical and electrical properties, we prepared two kinds of reinforcements:SCFs treated by 400 oC (400 oC-treated SCFs) and Cu-coated SCFs (Cu-SCFs). Fracture characteristics of the composites revealed that the Cu coating and the epoxy matrix had a better interface, meaning that the tensile and bending strength results were better in epoxy/Cu-SCFs composites than those in epoxy/400 oC-treated SCFs composites. The 400 oC-treated SCFs decreased the electrical resistivity of the epoxy composites compared to the pure epoxy. However the epoxy/Cu-SCFs composites had lower electrical resistivity than epoxy/400 oC-treated SCFs with the same fiber content.

      • A facile approach to enhance antigen response for personalized cancer vaccination

        <P>Existing strategies to enhance peptide immunogenicity for cancer vaccination generally require direct peptide alteration, which, beyond practical issues, may impact peptide presentation and result in vaccine variability. Here, we report a simple adsorption approach using polyethyleneimine (PEI) in a mesoporous silica microrod (MSR) vaccine to enhance antigen immunogenicity. The MSR-PEI vaccine significantly enhanced host dendritic cell activation and T-cell response over the existing MSR vaccine and bolus vaccine formulations. Impressively, a single injection of the MSR-PEI vaccine using an E7 peptide completely eradicated large, established TC-1 tumours in about 80% of mice and generated immunological memory. When immunized with a pool of B16F10 or CT26 neoantigens, the MSR-PEI vaccine eradicated established lung metastases, controlled tumour growth and synergized with anti-CTLA4 therapy. Our findings from three independent tumour models suggest that the MSR-PEI vaccine approach may serve as a facile and powerful multi-antigen platform to enable robust personalized cancer vaccination.</P>

        Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Fibers/Epoxy Composites: Effect of Fiber Treatment on Properties

        The properties of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibers reinforced epoxy resin composites were studied and the effects of the fiber surface treatment were investigated. The results showed that the surface treatment increased the roughness, O-containing groups (especially -OH groups), crystallinity and improved the wettability ofUHMWPE fibers. The impact strength of the treated UHMWPE fibers/epoxy composites reached the maximum of 92.6 kJ/m2, which was higher than that of pure epoxy and as-received fiber composites. The tensile strength of both as-received and treated fiber composites showed lower than the pure epoxy. However, the tensile modulus was observably increased. The bending strength and modulus of the treated UHMWPE fibers/epoxy composites were 26.2 % and 26.0 %, higher than those of pure epoxy, respectively. The friction coefficients of the two types of composites were both increased. The dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) results showed that Tg shifted toward higher temperatures and the reduction of tan δ peak of the treated UHMWPE fibers/epoxy composites indicated the adhesion of treated fiber with resin matrix was better than that of as-received fibers, which was in accord with the scanning electron microscope (SEM) analysis. The adding of the treated UHMWPE fibers to the epoxy matrix offered a stabilizing effect against the decomposition.

      • Web Service Selection Method Based on Grey Relational Analysis

        Based on detailed analysis of computational principles of the grey relational analysis method and a series of the relevant researches, this paper proposes a web service selection method based on Grey Relational Analysis to improve the shortcomings caused by personal assignment, so as to improve the usability of the algorithm and reduce the limitation of service selection. At the same time, this paper gives the detailed description of execution steps and complexity analysis of the algorithm. Then, the validity, applicability and efficiency of the algorithm are verified through some comparison experiments.
