Objectives: This study aimed to assess the adverse effects of Rasaraj Rasa tablets after repeated oral administration for 180 days in Wistar rats. Methods: Wistar rats were divided into five groups, of which three were treated with 54, 162, and 270 mg/kg body weight of Rasaraj Rasa, respectively, which correspond to one, three, and five times the proposed human therapeutic dose, for 180 days consecutively. The fifth group (satellite) also received 270 mg/kg body weight of Rasaraj Rasa for 180 days. Body weight and food intake were measured weekly. At the end of the study, all rats were sacrificed, and their blood, serum, and organs were collected and examined using hematology, serum biochemistry, gross pathology, and histopathology tests. In contrast, the satellite group was kept for 4 weeks after treatment. Results: No significant treatment-related toxicological findings were observed in the clinical features, body weight, laboratory findings, and pathological findings of the high-dose treated groups, when compared to those of the control group. Conclusion: The no-observed-adverse-effect-level for Rasaraj Rasa in Wistar rats is set at 270 mg/kg body weight.

Efficient cellulolytic enzyme production is important for the development of lignocellulose-degrading enzyme mixtures. However, purification of cellulases from their native hosts is time- and labor-consuming. In this study, a constitutive expression system was developed in Penicillium oxalicum for the secreted production of proteins. Using a constitutive polyubiquitin gene promoter and cultivating with glucose as the sole carbon source, nine cellulolytic enzymes of different origins with relatively high purity were produced within 48 h. When supplemented to a commercial cellulase preparation, cellobiohydrolase I from P. funiculosum and cellobiohydrolase II from Talaromyces verruculosus showed remarkable enhancing effects on the hydrolysis of steam-exploded corn stover. Additionally, a synergistic effect was observed for these two cellobiohydrolases during the hydrolysis. Taken together, the constitutive expression system provides a convenient tool for the production of cellulolytic enzymes, which is expected to be useful in the development of highly efficient lignocellulose-degrading enzyme mixtures.

With wide spread use of digital data communication on networks, security of data has become an important issue which provides integrity and confidentiality of content that ensures the distribution of information appropriately. While dealing with encoded content in the context of XML, its hierarchical tree structure has different level of confidentiality and integrity for various portion of the same content. Thus it imposes the need of dissemination approach specifically tailored for XML data to address the issues of efficiency and scalability. However these characteristics must be achieved without compromising the security and privacy of contents. The goal of efficient proposed Signature scheme for secure & selective distribution of XML content is to provide uniform platform for different data representation for secure and efficient availability of data. Proposed Signature Scheme is used to detect the change of content at information providers to discover and deliver new content to users. This can be achieved using structural properties of hierarchical tree structure data model with multicast topology approach.
Cysts of Gastrointestinal Origin in Children: Varied Presentation
Tiwari, Charu,Shah, Hemanshi,Waghmare, Mukta,Makhija, Deepa,Khedkar, Kiran The Korean Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology 2017 Pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology & nutrition Vol.20 No.2
Purpose: Abdominal cysts of gastrointestinal origin are rare. Their rarity and varied clinical presentations make their pre-operative diagnosis difficult. Methods: Fourteen patients with histological diagnosis of cysts of gastrointestinal origin admitted between 2009 and 2015 were retrospectively analyzed with respect to age, sex, clinical presentation, diagnostic modality, site and type of cyst, management, outcome and follow-up. Results: The mean age at presentation was 4 years and there were six males and eight females. Abdominal pain was the most common presenting symptom. Five patients had an acute presentation-three had distal ileal mesenteric cysts and two had ileal duplication cyst sharing a common wall with ileum. Six patients presented with chronic abdominal pain and lump-three patients had omental cysts and three had mesenteric cysts-two of these in distal ileum and one in sigmoid colon. Two patients presented with antenatally diagnosed palpable abdominal lump. One had a mesenteric cyst of the ileum and the other had a distal ileal duplication cyst which required excision with resection and anastomosis. One patient had an atypical presentation. He was a known case of sickle cell trait and had presented with vague abdominal pain, recurrent cough and multiple episodes of haemoptysis over a period of one year. At laparotomy, gastric duplication cyst was found which was excised completely. Histopathology confirmed the diagnosis. Conclusion: Cysts of gastrointestinal origin are rare and have varied presentation. Surgical excision is the mainstay of treatment. The results and prognosis are good.
LATTICE INSTABILITIES OF BaTiO 3 /SrTiO 3 ARTIFICIAL SUPERLATTICE
KIM, LEEJUN,KIM, JUHO,WAGHMARE, UMESH,JUNG, DONGGEUN,LEE, JAICHAN Gordon and Breach Science Publishers 2005 Integrated ferroelectrics Vol.73 No.-
<P>We have investigated lattice instabilities of ultra-short period BaTiO 3 /SrTIO 3 (BTO/ STO) artificial superlattice (double-perovskite 10-atom unit cell) as a function of epitaxial strain using first-principles density functional theory (DFT) calculations based on pseudopotentials and a plane-wave basis. We find a structural transition from the tetragonal phase at compressive strain to the monoclinic phase at tensile strain. In the tetragonal phase, the Ti ions displacement patterns of the BTO/STO superlattice show ferrielectric phase behavior. Likewise, those of the monoclinic BTO/STO superlattice along [001] direction are very similar to the tetragonal BTO/STO superlattice. However, the displacement patterns in the xy -plane BTO/STO superlattice exhibit different behavior which both Ti ions displace parallely along [110] direction and against direction of oxygen displacements. It means that the monoclinic phase of BTO/STO superlattice is ferrielectric along [001] direction similar to tetragonal BTO/STO superlattice, but is ferroelectric in the xy- plane.</P>
Optimum static balancing of a robot manipulator using TLBO algorithm
Rao, R. Venkata,Waghmare, Gajanan Techno-Press 2018 Advances in robotics research Vol.2 No.1
This paper presents the performance of Teaching-Learning-Based Optimization (TLBO) algorithm for optimum static balancing of a robot manipulator. Static balancing of robot manipulator is an important aspect of the overall robot performance and the most demanding process in any robot system to match the need for the production requirements. The average force on the gripper in the working area is considered as an objective function. Length of the links, angle between them and stiffness of springs are considered as the design variables. Three robot manipulator configurations are optimized. The results show the better or competitive performance of the TLBO algorithm over the other optimization algorithms considered by the previous researchers.
A young couple’s grave found in the Rakhigarhi cemetery of the Harappan Civilization
Vasant Shinde,Hyejin Lee,Yogesh Yadav,Pranjali Waghmare,Nilesh Jadhav,Jong Ha Hong,Yong Jun Kim,Dong Hoon Shin 대한해부학회 2018 Anatomy & Cell Biology Vol.51 No.3
The Harappan Civilization, one of the earliest complex societies in the world, flourished on the Indian subcontinent. Although many additional Harappan settlements and cemeteries have been discovered and investigated, no coupled burials at Harappan cemeteries have been reported to date. In 2013‒2016, we excavated the cemetery of the Rakhigarhi site (Haryana), the largest city of the Harappan Civilization. At the site, we found a grave that turned out to be a coupled (joint) burial of the primary type. This report is the first anthropologically confirmed case of coupled burial from a Harappan cemetery.
