Purpose: During and after Covid-19 pandemic, technology has emerged as a key factor in supporting the recovery of the economy and the rise of living standards. This study examines seven factors affecting the intention of food delivery apps usage, which include Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Hedonic Motivation, Price Value, and Habit, and how much influence they have on the customers' behavioral continuance of food delivery apps after Covid-19 Pandemic. Research methodology: This research is a quantitative descriptive research with 473 qualified respondents from 550 respondents collected. Besides using the UTAUT2 model (Venkatesh et al., 2012), Information Quality was added to give a better explanation for the consumers’ intention towards continuance behavior using food delivery apps. The collected data is then processed using SPSS 22.0. Results: Habit factors and Information Quality factors have significant positive effects on promoting food delivery apps usage intention, which in turn influences continuance behavior. In addition, Habit factors and Information Quality factors together have an effect of 48.57% on Behavioral Intention. Conclusion: The result proves that positive habits and food information quality can increase the usage intention towards the behavioral continuance of consumers. Higher usage frequency can be improved by increasing these two factors.

For the interfacial in situ polymerization, poly (ε-caprolactone) solution including pyrrole was cast on a reactive ice substrate. The reactive ice substrate contains aqueous methanesulfonic acid and silver nitrate as an oxidizing agent for the pyrrole monomer. FT-IR, EDX, UV-Visible, conductivity, and wetting measurements support the formation of PPy/Ag on the bottom surface of the films. Pore size, conductivity, and wettability increased with increased concentration of pyrrole. Films with different functionalization on either surfaces can be applied in various advanced applications such as flexible electrodes, tissue engineering, etc.

Highlights

Bottom functionalized patterned films were fabricated using reactive substrate.

Breath figure process was performed on top surface.

Interfacial polymerization was performed on bottom surface.

Color, composition, wetting, conductivity are different on top and bottom surfaces.

Films might have a great promising potential in advanced applications.

Graphical abstract

[DISPLAY OMISSION]

Abstract

Moth eye-like patterned poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) films selectively containing titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles in the microdome were fabricated using polystyrene honeycomb patterned porous film as a template in which TiO2 nanoparticles are pore-filled. The template was prepared by in situ pore filling of TiO2 nanoparticles by the modified breath figure method, wherein the hydrolysis of titanium butoxide was performed in the condensed water droplets as microreactors. The moth eye-like patterned PVA film selectively containing TiO2 nanoparticles in the microdome was transparent almost similar to the pristine PVA flat film. However, the film showed a reversible photochromism that changes to blue color by UV illumination and recovered by visible light. The obtained films may have potential applications in anti-reflective surfaces, photo-catalytic surfaces, opto-electronics, and photo-catalytic devices.

Highlights

First report on moth eye patterned films containing TiO2 particles in microdomes.

PVA were employed for the fabrication of moth eye patterned (MEP) films.

MEP films were fabricated using honeycomb patterned porous films as templates.

PVA/TiO2 MEP films are transparent similar to PVA films and also show photochromism.

These films can have great potential applications in opto-electronics.

Graphical abstract

[DISPLAY OMISSION]

A New Boosting Algorithm for Classification on Distributed Databases
Nguyen Thi Van Uyen,Seung Gwan Lee,TaeChoong Chung 보안공학연구지원센터 2008 International Journal of Software Engineering and Vol.2 No.2
In this paper, we propose a new boosting algorithm for distributed databases. The main idea of the proposed method is to utilize the parallelism of the distributed databases to build an ensemble of classifiers. At each round of the algorithm, each site processes its own data locally, and calculates all needed information. A center site will collect information from all sites and build the global classifier, which is then a classifier in the ensemble. This global classifier is also used by each distributed site to compute required information for the next round. By epeating this process, an ensemble of classifiers, which is almost identical to the one built on the whole data, will be produced from the distributed databases. The experiments were erformed on 5 different datasets from the UCI repository [9]. The experimental results show that the accuracy of the proposed algorithm is almost equal to or higher than the accuracy when pplying boosting algorithm to the whole database.
Macroeconomic Conditions and Capital Structure Adjustment Speed - The Evidence in Vietnam
Tran,Thi Muoi,Nguyen,Thi Uyen Uyen 한국유통과학회 2019 KODISA ICBE (International Conference on Business Vol.2019 No.-
The relationship between capital structure and corporate value is a topic that has been and can continue to be studied by scientists around the world and Vietnam because of its helpful. The empirical evidences show that the capital structure has an impact on the value of the enterprise; therefore, businesses are always looking for an optimal capital structure to finance. In addition, many studies have shown that there is always an optimal capital structure in enterprises where the value of the enterprise is the highest, which has led to the tendency of enterprises to adjust the capital structure to achieve an optimal capital structure, that makes the capital structure of the enterprise is not static, it is always dynamic. Moreover, the study of the impact of factors on the capital structure of enterprises is also interested by many researchers in the world and Vietnam such as characteristic and macroeconomic factors; especially in the world there have been many studies on the impact of macroeconomic conditions on the speed of capital structure adjustment of enterprises, however, this subject in Vietnam is not mentioned. With this gap, the author determines to study the impact of macroeconomic conditions on the capital structure adjustment speed of Vietnam enterprises in the period 2006 -2015.
