ARACNE를 이용한 미생물 Metabolic network의 기능적 연관성 분석

최근 미생물을 이용하여 기존에 화학산업을 통하여 생산되어지던 여러 화학물질 혹은 대사산물을 생산하려는 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 연구를 통하여 미생물의 대사특성을 개량하기 위하여는, 미생물의 대사 특성을 분석하는 연구가 일차적으로 수행되어져야 한다. 본 연구에서는 대사network간의 기능적 연관성을 분석하 기 위하여 transcriptome 연구에 주로 활용되던 ARACNE 기법이 활용되었다. 특정 대사 subpathway들이 미생물 균주들 사이에 존재하는 패턴이 유사하다면 그 대사 subpathway들이 서로 기능적 상관관계를 가지고 있을 가능성이 높다는 가정 하에, ARACNE를 활용하여 미생물들의 subpathway들의 존재 패턴을 분석함으로서 각 subpathway사이의 기능적 상관관계를 분석하여 보았다. 본 연구에 활용된 새로운 대사network 분석기법을 활용한다면 더욱 효율적인 대사network 분석연구가 수행될 수 있을 것이라 기대된다. Metabolic network is composed of more than thousands of metabolic reactions. Therefore, understanding of metabolic behavior of microorganisms is required to engineer metabolism of microorganisms. In this paper, we employed ARACNE (Algorithm for the Reconstruction of Accurate Cellular Networks) to quantify relationships among metabolic subpathways. The results showed that ARACNE analysis can give new insight into the study of bacterial metabolism.
Consumer behavior of diners at Korean restaurants in Danang city, Vietnam

In recent years, the trend of Korean cuisine has been more popular and quickly become the favorite flavor of Vietnamese youth. Restaurants serving Korean food are growing strongly in Danang market and are known by many classes of society. To better understand the taste and preferences of Danang people about Korean food, this study determined the behavior and assessment of diners who have used food and beverage services at Korean restaurants in Danang city. In addition, the study also identifies diners' desire to change the tastes of Korean dishes. The results show that Korean restaurants are attractive to young diners, from 18 - 25 years olds with income of $220 - $440, who appreciate Korean foods (especially grilled dishes) and most people intend to return to Korean restaurants in the next consumption. The study used a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. Qualitative methods are used through analysis, evaluation and synthesis of previous studies to formulate survey contents, conduct surveys and propose solutions based on the collected results. Quantitative method applied SPSS 25.0 for descriptive statistics analysis. These findings will help Korean restaurant managers to identify target customers, improve the restaurant's dishes to increase sales and develop Korean dishes in Danang.

Au nanostructures electrodeposited on amine-terminated indium tin oxide (ITO) glass as surfaceenhancedRaman scattering (SERS) substrates. The number of electrodeposition cycles (one cycle consistsof a nucleation potential of 0.7 V for 2 s and a growth potential of0.3 V for 1000 s) were optimized. Among as-prepared substrates (1–10 cycles), Au nanostructures formed by three cycles yielded thehighest Raman signals of probe molecules, owing to their rough surface morphology with multiple inter-space nanogaps. Bulky carbon layer inlaid with nanoscale Fe2O3 as an excellent lithium-storage anode material

Bulky carbon layer uniformly distributed with nanoscale Fe2O3 was prepared via a direct carbonation of Fe3+–polyacrylonitrile complexes at 700 °C under N2 flow. The iron oxide carbon composites exhibited an excellent cycling performance for lithium storage with a reversible capacity of ∼810 mAh g−1 after 250 cycles at a current rate of 100 mA g−1. The enhancement was mainly attributed to dual functions of bulky carbon layer which facilitated the lithium-ion diffusion and accommodated the volume changes of active Fe2O3 during charge/discharge process. Our novel chemical strategy is quite effective for scalable fabrication of high capacity lithium-storage materials.
Double-gate thin film transistor with suspended-gate applicable to tactile force sensor

This paper presents a straightforward, low-cost, and effective integration process for the fabrication of membrane gate thin film transistors (TFTs) with an air gap. The membrane gate TFT with an air gap can be used as the highly sensitive tactile force sensor. The suspended membrane gate with an air gap as the insulator layer is formed by multiple photolithography steps and photoresist sacrificial layers. The viscosity of the photoresist and the spin speed was used to modify the thickness of the air gap during the coating process. The tactile force was measured by monitoring the drain current of the TFT as the force changed the thickness of the air gap. The sensitivity of the devices was enhanced by an optimal gate size and low Young’s modulus of the gate material. This simple process has the potential for the production of small, versatile, and highly sensitive sensors.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Gelatin-tethered iron oxide composites are facilely prepared as high-performance anode materials for Li-ion batteries (LIBs). The synthetic procedures are simple, eco-friendly, and reproducible in that gelatin-linked Fe<SUB>3</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> is directly converted into nitrogen (N)-doped carbon modified iron oxides (N-Fe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>@Carbon) at 400°C. The N-Fe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>@Carbon exhibits an improved capacity retention and good rate capability. At a current density of 0.1C after 30 cycles, the N-Fe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>@Carbon (400°C) shows a high capacity of ∼800mAhg<SUP>−1</SUP> with a columbic efficiency of >99.5%. The excellent performance of N-Fe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>@Carbon is mainly attributed to the conductive nitrogen and strong cross-linking force of gelatin, consequently leading to durable structural integrity of Li-storage iron oxides during charge/discharge processes. Since a small amount of gelatin with multiple amine groups delivers a high impact on the performance of Li-storage metal oxides, this chemical strategy is very useful to prepare cost-effective and environmentally benign electrode materials in the field of sustainable energy conversion and storage.</P>

The effects of the grain size of Pt bottom electrodes on the ferroelectricity of hafnium zirconium oxide (HZO) were studied in terms of the orthorhombic phase transformation. HZO thin films were deposited by chemical solution deposition on the Pt bottom electrodes with various grain sizes which had been deposited by direct current sputtering. All the samples were crystallized by rapid thermal annealing at 700 °C to allow a phase transformation. The crystallographic phases were determined by grazing incidence X-ray diffraction, which showed that the bottom electrode with smaller Pt grains resulted in a larger orthorhombic phase composition in the HZO film. As a result, capacitors with smaller Pt grains for the bottom electrode showed greater ferroelectric polarization. The smaller grains produced larger in-plane stress which led to more orthorhombic phase transformation and higher ferroelectric polarization.

This work examined the corrosion protection performance of benzoate loaded hydrotalcite/graphene oxide (HT/GO-BZ) for carbon steel. HT/GO-BZ was fabricated by the co-precipitation method and characterized by infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and scanning electronic microscopy. The corrosion inhibition action of HT/GO-BZ on carbon steel in 0.1 M NaCl solution was evaluated by electrochemical measurements. The benzoate content in HT/GO-BZ was determined by UV-Vis spectroscopy. Subsequently, the effect of HT/GO-BZ on the corrosion resistance of the water-based epoxy coating was investigated by the salt spray test. The obtained results demonstrated the intercalation of benzoate and GO in the hydrotalcite structure. The benzoate content in HT/GO-BZ was about 16%. The polarization curves of the carbon steel electrode revealed anodic corrosion inhibition activity of HT/GO-BZ and the inhibition efficiency was about 95.2% at a concentration of 3g/L. The GO present in HT/GO-BZ enhanced the inhibition effect of HT-BZ. The presence of HT/GO-BZ improved the corrosion resistance of the waterborne epoxy coating.
