기업 간 거래에서 거래당사자들은 서로에 대해 윤리적 수준을 높게 지각하면 할수록 서로에게 공정성을 지각하게 될 것이고 결과적으로 해당 거래관계의 지속과 거래를 통한 성과향상에 몰입하게 될 수 있다. 이런 믿음의 관계 속에서 거래쌍방은 조직 간 거래를 통한 성과향상을 위해 문제해결과정에서 높은 몰입행동과 창의성을 발휘할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이런 윤리적 측면을 윤리부조화라는 개념을 도출하여 기업 간 거래관계에서 상생을 위한 모델의 주요한 설명요인으로 개념화하고 윤리부조화-신뢰-협력-성과로 구성된 Structural Equation Model를 실증적으로 검증하였다. 모델의 검증을 위해 2011년 10월부터 7개월 간 1,016명의 대기업 구매담당자에게 설문지가 송부되었고 총 262개의 유효한 응답을 확보하였다. 연구결과는 구매자가 지각하는 윤리부조화정도가 커질수록 정서적 신뢰와 역량에 입각한 신뢰는 감소하고 이런 신뢰는 과업몰입행동, 정보공유와 좋은 관계형성에 긍정적인 영향을 주며 과업몰입행동과 좋은 관계형성도 협력관계의 효율성에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 윤리부조화-역량에 입각한 신뢰라는 맥락에서 거래 기업 간 좋은 관계형성은 어려운 것으로 나타났다. 이는 윤리부조화가 개별 기업 간 핵심 역량의 연계를 통해 협력관계를 구축하는데 어려움을 유발할 수 있음을 보여준다. This paper defines ethical dissonance as the gap between the encoded ethical values of a firm and its managers’ perception of the firm’s actual ethical level, and investigates its impact on trust, collaborative activities, and logistics efficiency in inter-firm relationships. The main research survey included 1,016 questionnaires distributed between October 2011 and April 2012. Managers of large purchasing firms were asked to complete the survey with specific consideration to tasks and relationships held with all of their subcontractor partners. In total, 262 responses were collected. The findings indicate that ethical dissonance negatively affects two trust factors: affective trust and competencybased trust. When managers from supplier firms detect ethical dissonance in buyer firms, they might feel uncertainty in business transactions, which situation erodes mutual trust. Both trust factors have a positive impact on two collaboration factors: task-solving involvement and information sharing. On the other hand, competency-based trust does not affect collaboration in terms of rapport building. Collaboration through task-solving involvement contributes to logistics-efficiency improvement, whereas collaboration through information sharing and rapport building does not.

We represent how the multiplexing power of near-infrared (NIR) quantum dot (QD) signals can be extended by using narrow NIR absorptive features such as molecular vibration modes and lanthanide f-f electronic transitions. Two distinguishable NIR absorptive films were prepared by using polystyrene and samarium complex, and combined with NIR emitting PbS/CdS Core/Shell QD film to make various NIR emitting codes. Spectral features of NIR emitting codes could be diversified by adjusting the thickness and chemical composition of optical films.
신뢰와 윤리수준의 공급체인에의 시너지효과 - 의사결정나무 추론 분석

This study attempts to analyze the synergistic effect of trust and ethics on collaboration in supply chains. Trust includes two aspects: affective trust in terms of openness and mutual respect, and trust in competence in terms of business capability and know-how. Three dimensions of ethical level are measured by evaluating an unethical business case, which are fairness, righteousness, and admissibility. Logistical collaboration between partner companies occurs in decision-making, information sharing, and benefit sharing. Unlike most statistical analysis in existing studies in SCM, we adopt the decision tree induction to see how the ethical level might help to increase the collaboration in supply chains. The analysis results indicate that ethics in fairness and admissibility works positively on the relationship between trust and collaboration. Those whose ethical levels are more sensitive and high showed stronger willingness to cooperate with supply chain partners.
Cyclic testing of weak-axis column-tree connections with formation of plastic hinge at beam splice

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the seismic performance of weak-axis column-tree type connections used in steel moment frames. These connections are composed of a shop-welded and fieldbolted steel structure and can improve welding quality. On this basis, column-tree type connections are widely used in steel moment resisting frames in Korea and Japan. In this study, splices designed with a semirigid concept regarding the seismic performance of column-tree connections were experimentally evaluated. The structures can absorb energy in an inelastic state rather than the elastic state of the structures by the capacity design method. For this reason, the plastic hinge might be located at the splice connection at the weak-axis column-tree connection by reducing the splice plate thickness. The main variable was the distance from the edge of the column flange to the beam splice. CTY series specimens having column-tree connections with splice length of 600 mm and 900 mm were designed, respectively. For comparison with two specimens with the main variable, a base specimen with a weak-axis column-tree connection was fabricated and tested. The test results of three full-scale test specimens showed that the CTY series specimens successfully developed ductile behavior without brittle fracture until 5% story drift ratio. Although the base specimen reached a 5% story drift ratio, brittle fracture was detected at the backing bar near the beam-to-column connection. Comparing the energy dissipation capacity for each specimen, the CTY series specimens dissipated more energy than the base specimen.
