        한국인에서 일광 노출의 유해성에 대한 인지도와 일광 차단제의 이용 행태에 대한 연구

        Background: Although deleterious effects of sunlight have been increased recently, the surveillance of the attitudes toward sun-exposure and the behavioral aspect of using sunscreens in Koreans has hot been carried out. Objective: Our purpose was to evaluate the attitude toward the harmfulness of sun-exposure and behaviors of using sunscreens in Korea. Method: Five hundred and fifty-two subjects were surveyed to assess the attitude toward sun-exposure, as well as the subjects knowledge about, and the use of sunscreens. Underlying data including demographic data, skin colors, skin types, occupation, and sun-exposure, were obtained. Results: Fifty-four percent of subjects believed that sun-exposure is bad for their skins, but, on the contrary, 12.5% believed it to be beneficial. Fifty-two percent of subjects used sunscreens. Almost all subjects(93.8%) knew why to use sunscreens but 62.7% of subjects did not know the meaning of sun protective factors(SPF). Women, indoor workers, subjects less than 40 years old, with less sun-exposed, fair colored skin, or with skin type I, II, III tended to know the deleterious effects of sunlight and the meaning of SPF and used more sunscreen. Conclusion: High risk population-men, outdoor workers, subjects oider than 40 years old, with more sun-exposed, dark colored skin, or skin type VI, V could be targeted with campaigns that promote attitudinal and behavioral changes.

      • 녹비작물재배에 따른 고려인삼의 생육특성

        Background : The authors of this study analyzed the effect of the green manures cultivated in the soil of the preparation field in order to select the green manures suitable for ginseng cultivation and the effect of the green manures on the variation of ginseng growth development, the content of crude saponin and yield ability with the aim to use the results as the primary data for improving the quality of ginseng. Methods and Results: To analyze the effect of the application of green manures on the growth of ginseng, the authors cultivated 4 varieties of green manures and installed blue polyethylene sheet and one-layered black polyethylene net+three-layered blue polyethylene net(OBPNTB) and sun-shading material on the managed soil by re-applying green manures and then cultivated ginseng. The results suggested that the growth of ginseng was excellent in the barley+hairy, barely and rye cultivation plot in the plot treated with OBPNTB rather than the cultivation plot teated with Blue polyethylene sheet(BPS) and two-layered blue & two-layered black polyethylene net(TBTBPN), and the growth of leaf length and stalk diameter was excellent in barely + hairy vetch material. For the underground root weight, the growth was the most excellent(30.19g) in the barley+ hairy vetch cultivation plot treated with OBPNTB. For the underground red discoloration and root rot, the incidence rate was the lowest in the plot treated with BPS in which the water leak in a levee was small than in the test plot treated with sun-shading net. For the ginsenoside content in the cultivation plot treated with TBTBPN, the ginsenoid content was the highest in the rey cultivation plot, and it was the highest in the cultivation plot treated with OBPNTB. Conclusion : The results of study suggested rye among green manures is the most suitable for the growth of ginseng; underground growth was the most prominent in the plot treated with sun-shading net material (black 1 + blue 3) and the underground ginsenoside content was the most prominent in the rye cultivation plot and the plot treated with the sun-shading sheet.

      • Health-related Quality of Life After Treatment for Malignant Bone Tumors: A Follow-up Study in China

        Aim: We conducted the present study to assess health-related quality of life (HRQoL) among bone cancer patients after surgical treatment in one large teaching hospitals in China, and assess the risk factors for improving the physical or mental HRQoL. Methods: 344 eligible adult patients who were admitted to the hospital with malignant bone tumors during the period of Jun. 2008 to Dec. 2011, and a reference group with 361 health cases was recruited in the same hospital during the same period. All 344 patients were followed up for one year. The HRQoL before treatment and after one year was evaluated with the Medical Outcome Short Form 36 (SF-36). Results: All 8 domains of HRQoL had the lowest scores greatly improved over the first year after discharge. However, the patients still had significantly lower scores in every domain than the reference group one year after discharge. Age and type of surgery were associated with HRQoL in the mental domain. Conclusion: The HRQoL of patients with malignant bone tumors greatly improved one year after the treatment. This study also highlighted the utility of HRQoL assessment for prognostic evaluation of patients after surgical treatment for bone cancer.

        기초운동기술 프로그램 참여가 유아의 자기효능감과 사회적 능력에 미치는 효과

        The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of participation in basic motor skill programs on children’s self-efficacy and social competence. Jun’s physical education program for children was conducted in 46 children in experimental group, and a childhood education institute’s own program was conducted in 48 children in control group. Also, to compare scores of self-efficacy and social competence of each group before and after the programs, the independent sample t-test and analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) were performed, and the following results were obtained. First, the basic motor skill program for children had effects on self-efficacy and its sub-domains including physical, cognitive, social and emotional domains. Second, the basic motor skill program for children showed effectiveness in improving children’s social competence and its sub-factors including social activity, stability, cooperativeness, autonomy, adaptability, and leadership. The children in experimental group, particularly, generally exhibited higher degree of improvement in self-efficacy and social competence than those in control group. Hence, it was found that the basic motor skill program could facilitate children’s self-efficacy and social competence more effectively than the child education institute’s own physical education program did. These results implied that it is necessary to improve conditions of education for dissemination of systemic children’s physical activity programs and invigoration and change the way of dealing with these programs.

        코아-셀 구조를 가지는 전도성 폴리피롤 나노섬유를 이용한 메탄올 센서 제작

        Electrically conductive polypyrrole-polyvinylpyrrolidone (PPy-PVP) nanofiber mats with a core-shell structure have been successfully fabricated by a two-step process: the formation of FeCl3-containing PVP nanofiber mat by electrospinning, and the vapor-phase polymerization (VPP) of pyrrole monomer on the mat in a sealed chamber at room temperature. Surface morphology and chemical composition of the PPy-PVP mat were characterized by SEM, EDX and FTIR analyses. The as-prepared nonwoven mat was composed of PPy-PVP nanofibers with an average diameter of 300 nm. The sheet conductivity of the nanofiber mat was measured to be approximately 0.01 S/cm by a four-point probe. We have also investigated gas-sensing properties of PPy-PVP nanofiber mat upon exposure to methanol vapor. The PPy-PVP nanofiber sensors were observed to have excellent methanol-sensing performance. The nanofiberbased core-shell nanostructure could give an opportunity to fabricate a highly sensitive and fast response sensor due to its high surfaceto-volume ratio.

      • 유산소 운동이 비만인의 신체구성과 혈중지질대사에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this experiment was to recognize the influence executed aerobics for eight weeks, and what kind of influence were having on body compositions, metabolism of blood lipids according to sports disposition period, and the object of this experiment was university students who were being obesity. The object of this experiment was 12-man-university students who were having at least 25% deal of fat mass(fat%), had no special sport experiences, and their health state was desirable, and they were divided two groups, one was exercise-group and the other was non-exercise-group, each group had 6 members. By pre-experiment, the experiment was executed on treadmill during 50 minutes with HRmax 75%. Blood gathering was done when the object was stability and after the exercise immediately, and the blood which were gathered, was analyzed for blood lipid. After 8 weeks aerobics, though exercise group lessen their weight, fat mass, and the rate of fat in comparison with opponent, they didn't greatly differ from non-exercise group in body compositions. However, after the aerobics executed for many hours, in comparison with non-exercise-group, exercise-group had been increased the rate of HDL, but decreased the rate of TC and TG. The result of this experiment is the aerobics effects body composition, blood lipid and makes them are changed. The reason is aerobics makes our body to be increased ability of metabolism and lipolysis, and amount of muscles, adipose tissue, and the rate of energy consumption, and using of adipose. Therefor, aerobic that execute for many hours increase the energy consumption, so it prevents obesity phosphorus from chronic disease. In conclusion, aerobics is an effective exercise to maintain our good health.

      • 가시오갈피 열매 추출물의 항돌연변이원성 및 세포독성 효과

        가시오갈피(Eleutherococcus senticous Maxim) 열매의 에탄올 추출물 및 분획물의 항돌연변이성 및 항암활성을 규명하였다. 항돌연별이원성 실험결과에서는 직접변이원인 MNNG, 4NQO 그리고 간접변이원인 B(α)P, Trp=P-1에 대해서 농도의존적인 돌연변이 억제활성을 나타내었다. MNNG (0.4㎍/plate)의 경우 S. typhimurium TA100 균주에서는 시료농도 200㎍/plate에서 클로로포름 분획물을 제외한 모든 분획물들에서 90%이상의 높은 억제효과를 나타내었다. 4NQO(0.15㎍/plate)에 대한 S. typhimurium TA98 균주의 경우 물 분획물의 경우 88.3%, TA100 균주에서는 에틸 아세테이트 분획물이 84.4%의 억제효과를 보였다. 간접변이원의 경우 B(α)P(10㎍/plate)에선느 에탄올 추출물과 핵산 분획물은 시료농도 200㎍/plate에서 각각 96.1%와 97.5%로 가장 높은 억제효과를 나타내었다. 그리고 Trp-P-1(0.15㎍/plate)에서는 TA100 균주의 경우 200㎍/plate 농도에서 에탄올 추출물과 물 분획물이 각각 95.5%와 90%로 높은 억제율을 보여주었고, TA98 균주에 대해서는 에틸아세티에트 분획물이 88.3%로 비교적 높은 억제효과를 나타내었다. 인간의 암세포인 폐암세포(A549), 위암세포(AGS), 간암세포(Hep3B), 유방암세포(MCF-7)에 대한 세포독성 억제 효과를 검토한 결과 모든 암세포에서 각분획물들은 1㎎/mL 농도에서 60% 이상의 비교적 높은 암세포 성장 효과를 나타내었다. 특히 MCF-7에서 높은 암세포 성장억제 효과를 나타내었는데 핵산 분획물(1㎎/mL)에서 92.7%의 높은 암세포 성장 억제 효과를 나타내었고 Hep3B에서는 부탄을 분획물(1㎎/mL)에서 82%의 비교적 높은 성장 억제효과를 나타내었다. This study was carried out to investigate the antimutagenic and cytotoxic effects of Eleutherococcus senticosus Maxim fruits ethanol extract on Salmonella typhimurium TA98, TA 100 and cancer cell lines using Ames test and SRB assay, respectively. They were extracted with ethanol and then fractionated with hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate, butanol and water to get active fractions. In the Ames test, most of the extract had strong antimutagenic effects against the mutagenesis induced by MNNG, 4NQO, B(α)P Trp-P-1. The ethanol extract (200 ㎍/plate) of Eleutherococcus senticosus fruits showed 87.2% inhibitory effect on the mutagenesis induced by MNNG against TA100. And also, The suppression ratio against B(α)P and AGS, MCF-7, Hep3B), the value value of inhibition were mostly above 60% for each fraction (1 ㎎/mL). Hexane fraction (1 ㎎/mL) against showed the strongest cytotoxic effects of 92.7% compared to those of other fraction and butano fraetion against Hep3B was relatively high growth inhibitory effect of 82%.

        아기마사지와 체조에 따른 뇌 활동과 신체적, 정서적 변화

        최근 교육에 관한 많은 관심들이 점차 조기교육으로 쏠리면서 영·유아들의 신체와 정서, 지능발달에 대한 학계와 일반인들의 관심이 점차 증대되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 아기 마사지·체조 프로그램이 아기의 뇌의 활동에는 어떠한 변화를 가져오는지에 대한 구체적인 경험적 증거를 제시하고자 EEG를 사용한 뇌파의 변화와 아기 엄마들을 대상으로 한 인터뷰를 통해 마사지와 체조가 아기의 신체적, 정서적 변화에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 생후 3-6개월 사이의 아기들이었으며, 태어나면서부터 아기마사지를 실시하여 온 아기들 5명, 전혀 마사지를 실시하지 않은 아기들 4명이었다. 뇌 활동의 측정을 위해서는 유선뇌파 장비인 LXE 1104-RS232를 이용하여 EEG를 측정하여 분석하였다. 전극 부착부위는 전두엽(frontal lobe)부위의 인지능력을 받아들이는 영역인 F7과 감정에 관계되는 영역인 F8과 운동과 감각기관에 관여하는 영역인 두정엽(parietal lobe)의 C3, C4를 선택하였다. 분산분석 결과 마사지 전 평상시와 발·하체마사지, 상체 마사지, 체조 등 각 형태에 따라 델타파(F=5.515, p<.001), 알파파(F=8.989, p<.000), 베타파(F=4.796, p<.005), 감마파(F=5.519, p<.001)는 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 세타파는 각 상태에 따라 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타나 아기마사지가 알파파를 증가시킬 것이라는 가설을 입증하였다. 특히 체조를 해주는 경우 감마파의 증가가 두드러지게 나타났다. 감마파는 지금까지 많은 연구가 이루어지지 않았으나 주로 인지적인 두뇌 활동을 할 때 나타나는 파형으로 알려져 있어 앞으로 상당히 의미 있게 다루어져야할 것으로 사료된다. 또한 그룹간인 마사지 그룹과 비마사지 그룹 간에는 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났는데, 평균 간에는 차이가 있었던 것으로 미루어보아 피험자의 수가 적었던 것이 한계점으로 작용을 하였을 것으로 사료되며, 앞으로 더 많은 후속연구가 이루어질 필요가 있을 것이다. 신체적, 정서적 변화에 대한 질적 연구의 결과 신체적 변화차원의 범주는 크게 발달과 건강 차원으로 나누어 졌으며, 정서적 변화차원의 범주는 크게 정서적 교감, 정서적 안정, 집중력의 차원으로 나누어 졌으며, 가장 좋아하는 부위는 발, 가장 좋아하는 시간은 오후 목욕한 후로 조사되었다. 이 연구는 신체적인 접촉이 인간의 발달에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 기존의 연구결과에 덧붙여 아기와 부모간의 상호 신체접촉의 중요성을 다시 한번 일깨워 줄 수 있는 연구결과가 되었다고 할 수 있다. As the great concerns on educatin have a growing interest in the early education, the popular and the academic world interests in the development of infant baby's body, emotion, and intelligence become larger. This study was to know about the variation of brain waves with using EEG, in order to show the concrete, experiential evidence of what sort of change on a bady's brain activities a massage for a baby might bring on. The object of this study was three or four month old babies, one was the fiver babies practicing the baby massage from birth, and the other was the non practicing four babies. For the purpose of measuring brian activities, this study has measured and analyzed EEG with using LXE 1104-RS 232, the wire brain waves equipment. The electrode attachment region was the frontal lobe F7, which sphere accepts an acknowledgement function, the emotion related sphere, F8, and the parietal lobe C3, C4, which spheres lake part in an exercise and a sensory organ. The mothers were individually interviewed to examine the physical and emotional changes and analyzed by an inductive method. As a result of dispersion analyzing, it has showed the remarkable differences before and after baby massage including the foot and the lower part of he body massage, the upper part of the body massage, and the exercise, that was delta waves(F-5,519, p<.001), beta waves(F=4.796, p<.005), and gamma waves(F=5.519, p<.001), but the theta waves has showed no noticeable difference, therefore, it proves the hypothesis of which a baby massage may increase the alpha waves. Especially in the case of an exercise, the gamma waves have increased remarkably, which waves have not been studied much but only known to be the wave pattern appearing in time of metal activities. Finally, with respect to the qualitative research on physical and emotional change, physical change category was divided into growth and health. Emotional change category was divided into emotional exchange, emotional stability and concentration. The most preferred part was foot according to answers from mothers, following by toes, and the most preferred time was 'after bath in the afternoon'. Accordingly the futhermore studies on this result should be given much more weight. Also, it has showed no grouping distinction between the massaging group and the non-massaging group, however, it showed averaging distinction which might be inferred to the small number of the subject, therefore it is considered to be more following studies.

        The objective of this paper is to present a practical approach to the embedded system for distributed DAQ, based on the internet. Emphasis is placed on the practical application of TCP/IP processes and world wide web server send-to or receive-from data a commonly employed machine and controlled equipment. A brief review of applicable processing techniques is implemented with networks of typical use. Experimental results are viewed for constructional efficiency. Hardware realization of this method might make it a viable candidate for certain embedded system applications.
