Theoretical analysis and experiment for supersonic flow around the wedges have been conducted. Wedges are being used as a means of measuring a flow direction, Mach No., a basic study of inlet or combustion chamber of ramjet and scramjet engine. We use a shock tunnel to get a supersonic flow conditions and schlieren system to visualize supersonic flow field around wedge. Numerical simulation is also conducted by Harten-Yee type 2nd-order Total Variable Diminishing(TVD) scheme and oblique shock theory. Comparison of calculated results with experimental data is in good agreement.

In teaching a foreign language, one of the most important factors is the continual drilling of pronunciation to the students for the purpose of learning the target language. These days we are faced with the increased importance of using speech communication for mutual understanding in the international sphere. Furthermore, listening and speaking problems are of prime concern to students in their learning endeavors. It is of utmost importance for the students of foreign languages to learn how to pronounce the sounds of the target language. But Korean students have trouble learning the various aspects of using a foreign language when trying to communicate with native speaker. While emphasizing speech, as the prime medium, between the native speaker and Korean we have to establish the necessary models for teaching pronunciation in language learning. And so the purpose of this paper is to propose the new model for pronunciation necessary to Korean students. Obviously, there are some hypotheses and questions in presenting the new model which are as follows: 1. What is the similarity between the Korean sound /./ and the approximate sound of English? 2. How to decide the space of the vowel sound? 3. How to limit the variations for production of sound in the two different languages? 4. What is the model to be used in teaching of this sound? In conclusion, I will present a hypothetical model, phoneme / ?? / for the purpose of drilling Korean students producing English pronunciation as follows: ◁그림 삽입▷

英語의 母音記述과 그 問題點

This paper aims at examining the various vowel systems and their problems as a preliminary step for setting up a desirable vowel system of the writer's own. The articulation of vowel sounds, transcription of vowels and the diphthongal interpretation are discussed here with much emphasis on the problems of the English vowel system. Vowels are generally described in terms of the height of the body of tongue. But it is difficult to find out where the precise tongue position is, for the positin of the body of the tongue is not absolute but relative. This arbitrary quality of the tongue position has agreat effect on describing the vowel system. Furthermore, the different transcriptions of English vowels used by the authors make the phonemic analysis complicated. Especially the various treatments of the long vowels and diphthongs give rise to the main variations of interpretation of the English vowels. In fact, these difficulties are connected with the fact that there are no distinct boundaries between one type of vowel and another. The categories of vowels are less distinct than those of consonants. In theory, it is possible to make a vowel at any specified distance between two other vowels Therefore, it is unsatisfactory to use only the traditional articulatory descriptions in order to establish the economical vowel system. The acoustic and auditory ones should be essential for describing the desirable English vowel system in addition to the articulatory statements.

식이섬유 보충 음료의 섭취와 규칙적 운동에 따른 비만관련 체구성 요인 및 혈중 요인의 변화

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of drink including dietary fiber supplementation and regulatory exercise on body composition and blood profile concerning obesity of women. Twenty young healthy but on mild obesity women were participated as a subject, Body composition and blood profile were measured before and after 6 weeks' supplementation and exercise, The results of this study were as follows: First, Body composition concerning obesity such as body weight(p=.0001) and %body fat(p=.0001) after 6weeks' dietary fiber supplementation and exercise was decreased significantly. Second, blood profile concerning obesity such as TC(p=.0001), LDL-C(p=.0001) and TG(p=.0002.) after 6weeks' dietary fiber supplementation and exercise was decreased significantly. This results suggested that drink including dietary fiber supplementation and regulatory exercise should be recommended as a effective method for cure and prevention obesity.

Clozapine 투여후 발생한 급성 간염

Clozapine 투여 후에 급성 간염이 발생했던 두 명의 환자에 대한 증례로, 두 명 모두 이전에 약물에 이한 간염이 발생한 과거력이 있었던 환자로서 무증사의 급성 간염이 발생한 후에 보존적 치료 후에 호전 되었다. 간염이 발생한 후에 간효소수치에 대해 정기적으로 검사를 하면서, 사용하고 있던 clozapine의 용량을 낮춘 후 간장제를 투여함으로써 간효소수치는 정상화되었다. Clozapine과 비교하면 clozapine은 간세포의 cytochrome P450에 영향을 미치는 것으로 생각되고 있고 chlorpromazine은 간내 담즙저류에 영향을 미치는 것으로 생각된다. 과거 약물에 의한 간염을 경험한 환자는 clozapine에 의해 유도된 감염에 보다 취약성을 보일 가능성이 있으며, 이런 관점에서 이전의 간 기능 이상을 경험했거나 물질 사용 장애 등의 병발이 있을 경우 정기적인 간기능 평가가 임상적으로 중요할 것으로 판단된다. The authors report two cases of clzapine-induced acute hepatitis. Two patients developed asymptomatic hepatitis and got better with conservative care. We decreased the dosage of clozapine and added hepatic protections, resulting in normalized laboratory findings. The authors also reviewed side effects of clozapine in this report. We reviewed the suggested mechanism of either clozapine or chlorpromazine-induced hepatitis. clozapine influences the liver cell via cytochrome P 450 and chlorpromazine does so via mild cholestasis. There may be a possibility that a patient who has experienced drug-induced hepatitis is vulnerable to clozapine-induced acute hepatitis. In this respect, those who have experienced drug-induced hepatitis must be observed more closely.

사이버공간에서의 저항문화 : 들뢰즈와 가타리의 미시정치학을 중심으로 과제 focusing on Deleuze and Guattari's micropolitics

This study is to present frames to analyze the various anti-cultures arising from the various antisites in cyberspace. Importantly, the study understands Deleuze and Guattari's critique of capitalism. Deleuze and Guattari argue that capitalism is a schizophrenic system. Because it is interested only in the individual and his profit it must subvert or deterritorialize all territorial and groupings such as the church, the family, the group, indeed any social arrangement. But at the same time, since capitalism requires social groupings in order to function, it must allow for reterritorializations, new social groupings, new forms of the state, the family, or the group. These events happen at the same time. The life of any culture is always both collapsing and being restructured. The end of history is capitalism(the civilized capitalist machine) which radically decodes and deterritorializes social life. It invents the private individual, owner of his own body and its labour. In order to accomplish this deterritorialization, everything sacred, ritual or traditional has to go. Capitalism has no need of any sacred system of belief. It is the most radical of all systems, since it undercuts anything that represses the autonomous individual. And yet, say Deleuze and Guattari, the reality of capitalism is the greatest repression of desiring production in history. Presumably, it should have led to an absolute, nomadic freedom, but it has not. Deleuze and Guattari propose that the capitalist society can be changed by a molecular revolution. How can be the molecular revolution fulfilled? The study shows that the antisites in cyberspace bring possibilities to fulfill the molecular revolution, and that the molecular revolution practices an emancipatory praxis in the spiritual level.

차별 문화에 대한 기독교교육적 대안 모색 : 헤르트 홉스테드(Geert Hofstede)의 문화분석 이론을 중심으로

This study tried to search for a Christian Educational Alternative to overcome internalized discriminatory factors in Korean culture by applying theories presented by Geert Hofstede's research about differences in culture-based values among more than 50 countries. According to the Values Survey Module known as Geert Hofstede's research model, culture based values could be divided into five dimensions: power distance, individualism versus collectivism, feminity versus masculinity, long-term orientation versus short-term orientation, and uncertainty avoidance. In the individualism versus collectivism dimension, individualism pertains to societies in which the ties between individuals are loose: everyone is expected to look after himself or herself and his or her immediate family. Collectivism, as the opposite of individualism, pertains to societis in which people from birth onwards are integrated into strong, cohesive ingroups, which throughout peoples' lifetimes, continue to protect them in exchange for unquestioning loyalty. In this respect, we found that Korean society discriminates against people who do not belong to an ingroup ("we" group). In the power distance dimension, power distance was defined as the extent to which dependence relationships in a country feel emotional distance from different educational levels and social strata. Korean culture shows high power distance, meaning that the emotional distance is relatively large between classes. In the uncertainty-avoidance dimension, uncertainty avoidance was defined as the extent to which the members of a culture feel threatened by uncertain or unknown situations. Korean culture shows strong uncertainty avoidance which accounts for discrimination against unfamiliar persons. In the femininity versus masculinity dimension, masculinity pertains to societies in which social gender roles are unequivocally distinct; i.e., men are supposed to be assertive, tough, and focused on material success, whereas women are supposed to be modest, tender, and concerned with the quality of life. Femininity pertains to societies in which social gender roles overlap; i e., both men and women are expected to be modest, tender, and concerned with the quality of life. This means that Korean culture is moving toward femininity, which will work to oppose discrimination against women. In dimension of long-term orientation versus short-term orientation, long term orientation means ordering relationships by status and observing this order. The long-term orientation dimension sustains discriminatory cultural norms in Korea. Based on the theories of Geert Hofstede's research, we can find the ongins of discriminatory factors in Korean culture. We present biblical teachings as an alternative to overcome the problem. In the view of many Christian educators, only God has sovereignty over all men, as they are created in God's image. Hence, there can be no discrimination between men. If someone is subjected to discrimination, it means that people who assume that they have privileged rights display an insolent attitude and commit a sin against the Creator, God. In conclusion, we need a Christian-oriented educational system that promotes femininity to overcome discriminatory cultural values in our society. To do so, we should proclaim have the dignity of man, form faithful communities, build social communities, and emphasize the "shepherd's" life.

사이버 공간에서의 청소년문화와 기독교교육

Youth children have been forming new patterns of their culture in the cyber space. Their cultural patterns can be forced to bring changes in the application of the cyber systems to Christian education. They are using the digital codes in the cyber space. However, Korean churches do not break from the traditional teaching and learning ways which are close to analogue codes. This paper presents the patterns and criticizes the educational environments of Korean churches. It also presents suggestions for the effective Christian education, considering the cultural patterns of youth children in the cyber space. The suggestions are explained by the following themes; First, we should understand the cultural codes, which youth children have been using on the cyber net work. Secondly, we should avoid communication conflicts between digital codes, which youth children favor and analogue codes, which Korean churches use. Thirdly, we should develop the bible texts and literatures for youth children, who is used to the cyber culture. Finally, recognizing the characteristics and functions of cyber media as interacting for teaching and learning, and youth children's cultural in the cyber space, we should prepare ways, teachers, and facilities for their effective Christian education in the time of cyber.

Capsaicin 사전 투여에 의한 흰쥐의 공격성 감소 및 자율적 체온조절의 결손

capsaicin 사전 처치가 흰쥐의 공격성과 체온조절에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 생후 6주경에 capsaicin을 피하주사하였고, 완전히 성숙한 후에 공격성 및 체온조절 기능을 검사하였다. 실험 1의 공격성 검사 결과 capsaicin 처치동물들의 공격성은 통제동물보다 낮았는데, 이것은 선행 연구의 결과와 상반된다. 체온조절 기능을 알아본 실험 2에서는 capsaicin 처치동물들이 37℃ 및 40℃ 조건에서 과체온과 빠른 체온증가를 보여주었다. 이것은 출생 직후 또는 성숙한 후에 약물을 투여한 선행연구들과 일치되는 결과이다. 따라서 capsaicin이 체온조절에 미치는 영향은 투여 시기와 무관한 것 같다. 논의에서는 본 연구의 두 가지 결과를 시상하부와 관련시켜 해석하였다. The present study was designed to examine effects of capsaicin administration on aggressive behaviors and autonomic thermoregulation in rats. In six-week-old rat, capsaicin was injected subcutaneously on 4 consecutive days in increasing doses(20㎎/㎏, 30㎎/㎏, 30㎎/㎏, 50㎎/㎏) to total of 150㎎/㎏ of the drug. The controls were treated in the same way with vehicle alone. Two experments began six or eight weeks after the treatment. In experiment 1, isolation-induced agressive behaviors, scored a 10-min session in the dyadic situation, were significantly decreased by capsaicin pretreatment. This result was not in accord with the previous findings. In experiment 2, body temperature of the capsaicin-treated rats increased more than the control's at two amibient temperatures studied(37℃ and 40℃). Our result concerning thermoregulation supports the preceding studies that applied to the capsaicin-treated animals as neonate or adult. Thus, it is likely that the effect of capsaicin treatment on thermoregulation has nothing to do with the age of capsaicin injection. The capsaicin effects from this study were compared with hypothalamic lesion effects in the discussion part.

레이저를 이용한 Tailored Blank 용접 판재의 피로거동

For the Tailor Welded Blank sheet used for automobile body panel, the characteristics of fatigue strength and crack propagation behavior were studied. The thickness of specimen was joined to be same (0.9mm+0.9mm) and different (0.9mm+2.0mm). As a base test, mechanical properties around weld zone were examined. The results indicated that there were no significant decreases in mechanical properties, but hardness around weld bead was 2.3 times greater than base material. The fatigue strength was the highest when the loading direction was parallel to the welding direction, which was about 85% of tensile strength of base metal. It was decreased by 8.5% when the thickness of specimen and base metal was different, and it was increased by 25% when pre-strain was applied. The crack propagation rate was noticeably decreased around weld line and rapidly increased as it passed through weld line. Reviewing the shape of the crack propagation, crack width around weld line was wide around the weld zone due to retardation of crack growth, but it became narrow passing weld line due to decreased toughness.
