        연구 윤리를 위한 교양 교육 방안 연구

        The support and trust given to researchers in recent times is a world-wide phenomenon, and the results of such work have been a major driving for the modernization of human civilization. However by the middle of 20th Century, cases began to emerge of plagiarism or bogus research which led to major scandals in the United States, and which triggered a national debate in the US on the ethics involved. In Korea, the concept of 'research ethics' was unfamiliar to most people before the year 2000. That changed, however, when fabricated research in the area of life sciences caused a national loss of face. To date, most of the discussion on research ethics has centered on graduate students or professors undertaking research. This thesis emphasizes the value of supplementary education for study ethics for undergraduate students, and suggests ways to improve the fundamental cultural climate in Korean society in the long term. Prevention is more effective than sanctions or restrictions, and this is a view shared by tertiary education professionals world-wide. While examining the current discussions on the ethics of research in the areas of science and engineering, this thesis also explores the promotion of study ethics for students of the liberal arts and sociology, and how they can be presented in a form which undergraduates can fully understand. For practical purposes, the subject of 'Research Ethics' could be taught as one of the core General education subjects, in which the professor responsible for each major subject can devise lectures in the form of team teaching, and divide their responsible area under a unified structure. They would do so by discussion-oriented sessions, using examples and key points, rather than focusing on textbooks, and the method of study could be completed through presentation and individual research.

      • Ginger extract increases muscle mitochondrial biogenesis and serum HDL-cholesterol level in high-fat diet-fed rats

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Mitochondrial dysfunction and dyslipidemia are associated with obesity-linked metabolic disorders. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of ginger extract on muscle mitochondrial biogenesis and high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C) metabolism in high-fat diet-fed rats. Supplementation with ginger extract reduced final body weight and epididymal adipose tissue mass without affecting energy intake (<I>p</I> <0.05). Ginger extract increased mitochondrial size and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) content as well as key genes expression related to mitochondrial biogenesis, including peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ coactivator-1α (PGC-1α), nuclear respiratory factor-1 (NRF-1) and transcription factor A (Tfam) in skeletal muscle (<I>p</I> <0.05). In addition, ginger extract elevated serum HDL-C along with up-regulating ATP-binding cassette transporter A1 (ABCA1), apolipoprotein A-1 (ApoA-1) and lecithin-cholesterol acyltransferase (LCAT) mRNA in liver (<I>p</I> <0.05). These results suggest that ginger extract may have a beneficial effect against obesity-related metabolic disorders with elevating muscle mitochondrial biogenesis and serum HDL-C level.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Effect of ginger extract was investigated in high-fat diet-fed rats. </LI> <LI> Treatment with ginger extract increased muscle mitochondrial biogenesis. </LI> <LI> Treatment with ginger extract elevated serum high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol level. </LI> <LI> Taken together, ginger extract might have beneficial effect against obesity-related metabolic disorders. </LI> </UL> </P>

      • 수유부의 유선질환을 의미하는 한의학 용어 연구

        Objective : This study aims to clearly define the concept of Korean medicine terminology related with breast disease that occurs during breastfeeding. It attempts to suggest aguideline so that identical terms can be used to explain the medical conditions of breast-feeders from the perspective of oriental medicine. Method : This paper is based on what is recorded in medical books. It has organized the relations between the terms grounded on the analysis of similarities and differences in the concepts of the terms contained in them. The medical book chiefly used here was ?? Uibangyuchwi (醫方類聚)??. To organize the terms, thesaurus was utilized. Result & Conclusion : The terminology of Korean medicine related with breast disease that occurs during breastfeeding is prescribed from the aspects of the causes, affected areas, or pathological conditions. The clinically typical terms of korean medicine are ‘Tuyu(妬乳)’ and ‘Yuong(乳癰)’. The two are distinguished by whether one has systemic symptoms or not. If one has no systemic symptom, it is ‘Chwiyu(吹乳)’ or ‘Tuyu’, and these two are distinguished by whether one has ‘Chang(瘡; sores)’ or not. It is significant to organize the concepts of korean medicine terminology since they are directly related with treatments in the field.

      • 융복합 농산업화를 위한 경지이용계획 방법 연구

        농촌 지역경제의 기반을 이루는 농업 부문이 성장한계에 직면함에 따라 새로운 소득원을 확보하여 지역사회를 안정적으로 유지하는 것이 주요 과제로 대두되고 있다. 최근 귀농·귀촌 가구가 새로 유입되고 있으나 농업 생산과 관련된 귀농가구는 크게 증가하지 않고 있어 지역의 농특산물을 바탕으로 2·3차 산업과의 융복합 농산업화가 농촌 지역의 활성화 대안으로 부각되고 있다. 이에 정부는 농가·농촌 경제 활성화를 위해 농촌융·복합산업 육성 및 지원에 관한 법률(법률 제 16074호)을 제정하고 2019년 6월부터 시행하면서 다양한 사업들을 추진하고 있다. 이를 바탕으로 2019년 12월 기준 전국에 1,500여개의 농촌융복합산업 인증사업자가 선정되어 운영되고 있으며 정부에서는 다양한 지원정책을 추진하고 있다. 그러나 현재 이들 사업자를 대상으로 지원되는 정책을 살펴보면 금융 및 컨설팅 등 소프트웨어 중심의 일시적인 지원이 주가 되고 있으며, 시설, 지역개발, 체험관광 활성화를 위한 지속적인 유지/관리 지원책은 미흡한 실정이다. 또한, 감소하는 농업 인력과 변화하는 농산물 수요/공급 및 관광 수요/공급 현황을 장기적으로 고려한 경지계획보다는 사업신청 대상자를 중심으로 관행적으로 농민의 의지에 따라 경지 이용이 이루어지고 있는 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 객관적이고 정량화된 공공 빅데이터를 활용하여 지역에 적합한 융복합 농산업화 유형별 경지이용방법을 제안하기 위한 기초연구를 수행하고자 한다.

      • A study on the design of DC-DC converter with variable output voltage using charge pump method

        In this paper, charge pump with new structure and DC-DC converter with variable output voltage are proposed and designed. Proposed charge pump with new structure shows the DC output voltage of 9.5V. From the simulation results, DC output voltage of the proposed circuit is 0.5V to 4.7V higher than that of conventional circuit. The structures of DC-DC converter with the variable output voltage are composed of charge pump with new structure, pulsed oscillator, comparator and non-overlapping clock generator and it can vary the output voltage by changing the ratio of between switch and resistor and get a accurate output voltage. Proposed and designed DC-DC converter using charge pump method is simulated with KEC 5V/30V 0.5㎛ Analog-CMOS design parameter and layout is executed with KEC 5V/30V 0.5㎛ Analog-CMOS design rule.

      • 가려짐 예측을 이용한 불완전 포인트 클라우드의 분류 기법

        본 논문에서는 point cloud 가 가려짐 등으로 일부 정보가 불충분한 상황에서, 객체의 분류 정확도를 높일 수 있는 요소를 제안한다. Point cloud 를 gridding 하여 3 차원 격자로 배열한 후 가려진 부분을 학습하여 분류 정확도를 향상시켰다. 이 과정을 통해 모델 스스로 객체에서 가려진 부분을 찾고, 가려짐 영역을 제외한 다른 부분에 가중치를 두어 학습할 수 있도록 모델을 구성하였다. 또한 구해진 특징 벡터와 가려짐 영역의 벡터를 더한 후 분류하여 가려짐 영역의 벡터가 효과적으로 적용될 수 있도록 하였다. 이는 point cloud 의 가려짐 영역을 이해하고, 정확한 분류를 수행할 수 있도록 한다.

      • Analysis of low molecular weight plasma proteins using ultrafiltration and large gel two-dimensional electrophoresis

        <P>In this study, various solvent systems were applied to obtain a high and consistent recovery rate of low molecular weight plasma proteins (LMPP) from human plasma. A buffer system containing 7 M urea, 2 M thiourea, 25 mM NH<SUB>4</SUB>HCO<SUB>3</SUB> + 20% ACN (pH 8.2) produced the highest recovery rate of LMPP. To validate the recovery of cut off membrane (COM) obtained using the urea buffer system, 27 different 30 kDa COMs were used to prepare the LMPP sample which were then subjected to 1-D SDS-PAGE. Statistical analysis showed that the buffer system with COM produced a consistent the recovery of LMPP. In addition, 2-DE analysis was also conducted to determine the relative intensity of each protein spot. When molecular weight ranges over 30 kDa and under 30 kDa were evaluated, 953 and 587 protein spots were observed in the gels, respectively, resulting in a total of 1540 protein spots being resolved. Identification of the major proteins were then performed using a nano-LC/MS system comprised of an HPLC system and an ESI-quadrupole IT MS equipped with a nano-ESI source.</P>
