        나트륨 아지드와 금속산화물과의 혼합물에 대한 열분해 특성

        The thermal characteristics of two binary mixtures by sodium azide/manganese dioxide and ferric oxide, two ternary mixtures by sodium azide/silicon dioxide/manganese dioxide and ferric oxide were studied to obtain the basic data of gas-generating agents for air bags. The thermal reaction for all mixtures started at about 420℃, but the temperature at which the reaction rate reached a maximum was different with the states of samples. According to reaction results, nitrogen, nitrogen oxide and nitrogen dioxide were detected by GC-MS and so many kinds of new chemicals from sodium azide and metal oxide mixtures by XRD. NMS is considered as most stable and reasonable mixture for this types of gas-generating agents.

        한글이름(인명)의 새로운 범주화와 사회적 의미

        Kim, Seul-Ong. 2004. A Study of the New Categorization of Hangeul Names and their Social Meaning. The Sociolinguistics Journal of Korea 12(2). This paper suggests a new direction of making Hangeul names in view of the Hangeul(Korean Alphabet) cultural community. We newly organize the concept and category of Hangeul names which include names of a Chinese character written in Hangeul as much as the names of the original Korean vocabulary. This type of combination produces, for example, from “슬기(seul-gi)” and “지혜(chi-hye)”, “슬지(seul-chi), 슬혜(seul-hye), 기지(ki-chi), 기혜(ki-hye), 지슬(chi-seul), 지기(chi-gi), 혜슬(hye-seul), 혜기(hye-gi)”. Through this method, we will be able to gain the following results: (1) We can make more human names with Hangeul, (2) We will be able to overcome the dichotomy between Chinese characters and Hangeul, (3) We will be able to truly accomplish a cultural community using Hangeul writing system.

      • 코로나19 발생에 따른 서울시 골목상권 유형별 회복탄력성 및 생존특성 분석

        본 연구에서는 우리마을가게 상권분석서비스 자료를 활용하여 서울시 골목상권을 대상으로 상권 유형을 구분하고, 코로나19 발생에 따른 상권별 회복탄력성과 생존 특성을 분석하였다. 우선 수요자 특성을 기준으로 골목상권의 유형을 분류하고, 유형별 회복탄력성을 측정하여 그 차이를 파악하였다. 마지막으로 생존분석을 실시하여 골목상권 유형별 생존율의 차이를 확인하고 그에 따른 영향요인을 분석하였다. 골목 상권은 총 4개 유형으로 분류되었으며, 회복탄력성 유동인구와 직장인구의 영향이 큰 유형 1과 젊은 세대 수요층의 영향이 큰 유형 2 상권에서 매출 피해가 크게 나타났으며, 생존분석 결과에서도 유형 2 상권이 가장 취약한 것으로 도출되었다. 골목상권 매출 위기에 영향을 주는 요인으로는 유형 2 상권 여부, 아파트 가격과 면적당 생활인구, 프랜차이즈 점포 비율은 위험을 높이는 요인으로, 면적당 상주인구와 업종 다양성은 위기 발생 위험을 낮추는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구는 생활밀접형 상권인 골목상권을 대상으로 상권 유형을 구분하고, 유형별로 회복탄력성과 생존특성을 분석하여 지역 경제 활성화 정책을 위한 기초연구를 제공하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 하지만 코로나19 장기화에 따른 추가 데이터 확보와 상권 유형별 세부 업종 등에 대한 차이를 반영한 후속 연구가 요구된다. In this study, we classified Seoul’s Side Street Trade Areas in detail and diagnosed resilience and survival characteristics of each type during the COVID-19. First, using cluster analysis, the Side Street Trade Areas are classified based on the demand to reflect the impact of COVID-19. Next, we measured the resilience of each type of the Side Street Trade Areas and identified differences between types. Finally, in the survival analysis, we plotted Kaplan-Meier curves of each type, and constructed a Cox proportional hazard model. As a result, the Side Street Trade Areas were divided into 4 types. The result of resilience analysis and survival analysis, Type 1 and 2 were vulnerable compared to Type 3 and 4. Type 2 value, Apartment prices, Living population per area, and Franchise store ratio increased risk, while Resident population per area and Industry diversity decreased the risk of crisis. This results are expected to be developing the local economic policies and supporting the Side Street Trade Areas.

      • Effect of Ovarian Extract on Oocyte Maturation and Early Embryonic Development in Pigs

        Various factors in the ovary are known to regulate oocyte maturation and hormone secretory functions; however, the effect of ovarian extract (OE) on oocyte maturation and embryonic development in pigs remains unknown. In this study, we first evaluated whether OE supplementation in the in vitro maturation (IVM) medium alters the oocyte maturation capacity by affecting glucose/amino acid metabolites, meiotic maturation, cumulus cell (CC) expansion, and antioxidants. Various OE concentrations (50, 100, 200, 500, and 5000 μg/mL) were included in the IVM medium. Only the oocytes treated with 100 μg/mL OE exhibited an improved meiotic maturation rate when compared with that of the other groups (non-treated group, 78.6 ± 3.0% vs. 100 μg/mL OE-treated group, 81.6 ± 4.3%); however, the difference was not significant. To observe the changes in glucose and amino acid metabolism in the OE-treated oocytes, we measured the amounts of diverse constituents (glucose, lactate, glutamine, and ammonia) in the IVM medium containing OE. Lactate and ammonia levels in the OE-treated group after 44 h of IVM were higher (p < 0.01) than those in the non-treated group. In addition, the expression of the CC expansion factors (Has2 and Tnfaip6) significantly increased (p < 0.05), whereas the mRNA expression levels of antioxidative enzymes (Sod1, Cat, and Gpx1) significantly diminished (p < 0.05) in the OE-treated group. Moreover, mature oocytes treated with 100 μg/mL OE demonstrated increased subsequent embryonic development rates after 144 h of IVM. Thus, the addition of OE in IVM mediums may improve oocyte maturation capacity which could enhance antioxidative enzyme activation, energy metabolism, and expression of the CC expansion factors in porcine oocytes.

        Evaluation of Barley and Wheat Germplasm for Resistance to Head Blight and Mycotoxin Production by Fusarium asiaticum and F. graminearum

        Fusarium head blight (FHB) is one of the most serious diseases in barley and wheat, as it is usually accompanied by the production of harmful mycotoxins in the grains. To identify FHB-resistant breeding resources, we evaluated 60 elite germplasm accessions of barley (24) and wheat (36) for FHB and mycotoxin accumulation. Assessments were performed in a greenhouse and five heads per accession were inoculated with both Fusarium asiaticum (Fa73, nivalenol producer) and F. graminearum (Fg39, deoxynivalenol producer) strains. While the accessions varied in disease severity and mycotoxin production, four wheat and one barley showed <20% FHB severity repeatedly by both strains. Mycotoxin levels in these accessions ranged up to 3.9 mg/ kg. FHB severity was generally higher in barley than in wheat, and Fa73 was more aggressive in both crops than Fg39. Fg39 itself, however, was more aggressive toward wheat and produced more mycotoxin in wheat than in barley. FHB severity by Fa73 and Fg39 were moderately correlated in both crops (r = 0.57/0.60 in barley and 0.42/0.58 in wheat). FHB severity and toxin production were also correlated in both crops, with a stronger correlation for Fa73 (r = 0.42/0.82 in barley, 0.70 in wheat) than for Fg39.

        Synthesis and Purification of Kaempferol by Enzymatic Hydrolysis of Tea Seed Extract

        We have made an in-depth study on elucidatingselective hydrolysis reaction by enzyme on two kinds offlavonol triglycosides, camelliaside A (CamA) andcamelliaside B (CamB). In this paper, we employ fivekinds of commercial enzyme complexes and report theireffect on the hydrolysis reaction of CamA and CamB. Ultraflo, Celluclast and Shearzyme selectively hydrolyzethe xylosyl moiety of CamB, producing primarily kaempferoldiglycoside, while Dextrozyme yielding monoglycoside. Whereas, Viscozyme transform CamA and CamB intokaempferol (KR) by non-specific hydrolysis. We recoverKR with 95.4% purity from a scale-up reaction withViscozyme followed by recrystallization of crude KR.

      • Changes in Mitochondria Functions and Dynamics According to the Lipid Density of Zygote in Porcine Embryo

        Mitochondria are well known to regulate the mammalian embryo development. Recent studies showed that the mitochondrial dynamics responses are mainly generated through mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP) and cellular ATP production, which is dependent on mitochondrial reactive oxygen species (ROS). However, these mechanisms are unclear on development process of preimplantation porcine embryos. The aim of this study was to evaluate that difference of the mitochondrial dynamics-derived various functions on the embryo development according to lipid composition of zygote. First, zygote was classify two groups (high lipid, grade 1: G1 and low lipid, grade 2: G2) by lipid composition of cytoplasm. And, we performed the in vitro culture (IVC) using zygote of divided groups. The nuclei numbers and developmental rates of blastocysts were lower in G2 than those of G1 embryos. Next, we investigated the intracellular ROS and mitochondrial derived superoxide production in porcine embryos by using DCF-DA and Mito-SOX staining. As expected, both intracellular ROS and mitochondrial derived superoxide were significantly increased (p<0.05) in the preimplantation stage embryos of G2 group compared with G1 group. In addition, to observe difference of the mitochondrial functions, we investigated the mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP, ΔΨ) and contents of ATP in the preimplantation stage embryos by using JC-1 kit and ATP determination kit. These functions of mitochondria were dramatically reduced in cleavage stage embryos or blastocysts of G2 group. Finally, to verify the difference of the mitochondrial dynamics-derived various functions, we investigated the expressions of mitochondrial fission (Drp1, pDrp1-616) and fusion (Mfn1, Mfn2) factors by Western blotting analysis. Interestingly, the protein levels of pDrp1-616 in embryos of G1 group were continuously increased until blastocyst stage. Whereas, the expression patterns of Mfn1/2 in embryos of G2 group were significantly reduced during IVC progression. The expression patterns of mitochondria dynamic between the two groups were shown opposite. These results demonstrated that the lipid contents of zygote were related the positive-correlation with mitochondrial dynamics-derived functions in porcine embryos. Moreover, we suggest that lipid of zygote is play a important role on mitochondrial functions and dynamics during preimplantation embryos development in pigs.
